Main Content =============================================================================== ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- A. What is an "upkeep"? [WHT] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- An "upkeep" is a food limitation your forces or armies uses while in the battlefield. This is a very important aspect on the game. Because the armies you are producing uses "Upkeep" that limits your forces on a certain battle. How does an upkeep work? It's simple. When you train your units, you'll see a chicken icon. This represents the food that it will use when you train them. The number beside it is the food that it will use to your current food level. So let's say that the number beside it is 2, it will use 2 food on your current food. That is if you can train it. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- B. Levels of Upkeep [LVL] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the game, there are three levels of upkeep. Here are they: +++++++++++ - No Upkeep +++++++++++ This upkeep only occurs when your army has 0-50 of food consumed. In addition, your peasants can bring in 100% of the gold they mined. ++++++++++++ - Low Upkeep ++++++++++++ This upkeep only occurs when your army has 51-80 of food consumed. In addition, there is 70% gold income when your peasants mined gold from gold mines. So it means that you get +7 gold income each time your peasants successfully delivers it on your town halls. +++++++++++++ - High Upkeep +++++++++++++ This upkeep only occurs when your army has 81-100 of food consumed. In addition, there is 40% gold income when your peasants mine gold from gold mines. It means that you get +4 to your gold income each time your peasants successfully delivers the gold on your town halls. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- C. Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ] ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Q: What is the maximum food limit per game? A: The maximum food limit is 100. Q: Is it possible to go beyond the maximum food limit? A: Yes. If you simultaneously train your units, it's possible to go beyond 100. A cheat code "warpten" enhances construction time of buildings and training time of units. This is a good way to exploit an additional unit in your army. Q: How would I know what level of upkeep am I in? A: The levels of upkeep are indicated with a certain color. Green indicates that you have no upkeep. Yellow indicates that you are in low upkeep. Lastly, red indicates that you are in high upkeep. =============================================================================== 5.
