Anyway, this will show you what to expect in the stuff pack, and I've got to say, no much really. This is one of the smallest stuff packs and really, if you know what its worth, isn't worth getting bar two reasons. You really like the Maxis stuff packs, or the EA rip off packs as I like to call them, or to complete the Sims Trilogy, or Megalogy, or whatever it is called. Or write a boring guide on them, like me. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [1.02] Version History Version 0.1 [29/10/07] Boredom relief. This will allow you to incorporate all the provided H&M items as well as the existing clothes store selling items. This will be useful for those with OFB, but more on that later with the Notes area. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [8.02] Clothes The H&M pack lacks items, therefore, it makes the up for the clothing items that it presents. There is a good and bad argument for this. Lets get the bad off our chest first. The bad argument is that you don't really need any more clothes since the users can easily download custom context and clothes off the internet rather than forking out money for an "offical" pack for it. However, the good argument is that these clothes are offical and it makes you feel good because they are "offical". Well, make up your mind whether you want to buy this or not. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [9.01] Notes I'll give you a copy and paste from my OFB guide to save you the trouble on running a clothes store. You still need Open for Business in order to be able to run a business. Clothes Store (H&M Fashion Stuff Perferred) Well, the Clothes store is back with a revival. Anyway, to have a clothes store, you will need the clothes rack first of all. After a few of those, you will need a changing booth. Don't keep these too far from the Clothing rack as it will reduce travelling time and allows you to get through more customers. After that, you will need mirrors. Your customers will need a place to have a look and see how they look in some new clothes. This is followed up with the cash register and don't place these too far away from the mirrors or the entrance. In the middle will do. Why do you need H&M Stuff. Well, it is not to important but it helps provide more of a vibe to the place. It will add to the decor of the area as the stuff pack is made for Clothes Store. It also will give you some new clothes racks to choose from and some new clothes to see. Clothes make about 200 Simoleons a pop, so it can be profitable in numbers. But then again, every thing is profitable in numbers. Even if you don't have Open for Business, you can use the new items that are packaged with the game to create new clothing stores that your Sims can go around and shop at. This seriously provides the groove element back in clothes shopping. On to some other trivial stuff. In Australia, the game was realised as Fashion Stuff and not H&M Stuff because in Australia, and in some other countries that the game is released in, H&M has not expanded there and therefore, the brand name does not apply. The game also makes excessive mention of Zecutine. I wonder who this person could be. There are also notes on the Sims 2 website that shows how to make a catwalk in the game. To provide a basic rundown of how to do so, it is basically to buy some of the catwalk tiles the place them in the shape of a catwalk or a runway, however you want it to be called, it doesn't really matter. Anyway, once you have that, you must fashion the lights to focus on the Sim that is modelling the wears. Then, get your Sim, make them change their clothes and now you can make some videos to show off to your friends, on the proviso that you have some and not spend all your time on the Sims. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ [A] Contact Information APPEARS IN g,a,m,e,f,a,q,s.c,o,m always.
