[1.01] Introduction

Welcome to my 16th FAQ. I'm building up quite a big number now. This is the
second stuff pack in the Sims 2 series, after Family Fun. This pack improves
the modern outtake on the Sims 2 with modern paintings, such as abstract and
fashionable clothes and furniture. Everything you expect in a luxury Condo
is here. Anyway, this will cover the items and such, as well as the misc stuff
I feel like adding in.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[1.02] Version History

Version 0.1 [12/7/07]
Started this guide, shouldn't be too long to finish. 3 to 4 updates at most.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[2.01] Banquet Chair by Well Bred and Co.

"The Counterpart to the Banquet of Six dining table, the Banquet Chair
combines comfort, elegance and just enough stiffness to ensure the proper
posture for an exquisitely prepared meal. Rare delicacies taste far better
when your delightful backside is perched upon the Banquet Chair. Truly, luxury
does come atop three legs."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[2.02] Prospreous Perch Sofa by Well Bred and Co.

"Finally, a sofa that will make even a Landgrabb smile! Well Bred and Co.
takes quality, "normal people" furniture and gives it their branding to turn
it into "rich people" furniture, which has made them the perennial choice with
"those who care". Acquire the Prosperous Perch Sofa to turn your living room
into the gathering place for wealthy neighborhood posteriors."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[2.03] A Luxurious Night's Sleep

"Few mattresses and bed frames are built to support your commanding presence
and stature. It's simply not fair being a Sim of wealth in this day and age!
Thankfully, A Luxurious Night's Sleep has been created to relieve your aching
buttocks, back and dreams. A bit of coin goes a long way, because a better bed
cannot be found!"

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[3.01] Convex Stoneware by Simporters Inc.

"The point at which elegance meets simplicity is apparently a curved one. A
convex slope, to be exact. Convex Stoneware by Simporters Inc. is no mere
bowl -- it is luxury defined. It is a quality import item that one should not
taint with actual use -- leave it empty! Simply place it! Gaze upon it. Enjoy
its smooth perfection."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[3.02] Odd Reflection of Grace

"Life is full of oddities, the best of which can be found in art. These
delightful pieces, like the Odd Reflection of Grace, enliven your living space
and make you look sophisticated at the same time. Just examine the name --
it's odd, yet prestigious and positively snooty. Fantastic! The Odd Reflection
of Grace: Bending minds everywhere towards the fashionable.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[3.03] Fountain of Opulence

"Your pool of classical outdoor decorations has dried up and the rumors are
star[t]ing to trickle in. The neighbors are saying you no long exhibit the
style and good taste you once did. It's time to write the check, with the
Fountain of Opulence inscribed under memo. One fountain can slience the rumors
and reverse the flow of prestige in your direction.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[3.04] The Ideal Sim by Van Mel

"The Ideal Sim by Van Mel proves that not all Sims were created equally.
Inviting this stone companion into your home is also an invitation to good
taste and style -- a clear indication to all that you both appreciate good
art and ideal Sim form. Study the wonder of the Sim form and broaden your
artistic horizons!"

[3.05] Morphic to the Maxx

"Unprecedented in physical size and massive influence on the art community,
Morphic to the Maxx is a revolution for your home decor. Well worth every
Simoleon, only the most sophisticated and elite dare to obtain Morphic to the
Maxx. It's a sign of dedication to good taste and a new lifestyle. It's to the

[3.06] Head on Marble

"Venture back in time to a period when architraves lined the tops of buildings
and large decoy horses filled with Greeks were considered a bad thing. Lost at
architrave? Worry not, for the Head on Marble is a simple concept to grasp.
Elegant and beautiful, this sculpture hearkens back to "simpler" times."

[3.07] Lifestyle of the Pharaoh Picutre

"Pyramid lover? Fascinated by wealth, cruelty and oppression? Can't get enough
of sand? We love to encourage all your eccentricities, and there's no better
way to appreciate the past than the Lifestyle of the Pharaoh Picture. It's a
reminder of glorious times gone by and perhaps a glimmer of your own impending
greatness!"

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[3.08] "The Etched Life" by Anonymous

"This stark composition of hard lines and cold materials reminds the viewer
of a harsher time when life wasn't about leather sofas and silk pajamas. This
sculpture should serve as a constant reminder that life won't ever be as good
as it is right now."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[3.09] Erratic Glass by Van Mel

[3.10] "Untitled" by Len Bledgemann

"After a disenchanting tenure in the foodservice industry, Bledgemann emerged
as one of the art scene's most intriguing self-taught artists. His series of
pop-art imaged is renowned for criticizing modern culture subtly, yet
scathingly."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[3.11] A Sim Noir Paint

"It was cold. Rain was falling, the water running down the street like loose
words in a bad novel. "I just don't know, doll face," he said. She knew he
would never know and a simple tear formed at her eye's corner. Guilt pulled
his heart strings like a bad guitarist, and he knew it was over."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[3.12] "The Muse" by Stella Livorno

considered by many to be the driving force of the New Expressionism movement.
Though this work is one of her earliest, her distinctive style is already
evident."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[3.13] "Abstrusionism" by Gordon Flatcher

"Is it possible for an abstract image to be so good it's bad, or so bad that
it's good? Is it possible to price a bad painting so expensively that even
the uneducated observer will be convinced of its quality? This piece explores
these questions in depth."

This is the art!"

[3.16] Labyrinth Rug

"The Labyrinth Rug distracts passers by with its intricate patterns. Its paths
don't lead to anywhere in particular, which leads to questions: What makes you
so stylish? Why did you pay so much? Why haven't you bought it yet? We don't
have the answers, but we do have the rug. Can you say the same?"

Cost: 900

[3.17] Rug de Exuberance

"Your feet deserve a better surface than the floor, much like your palette

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[5.02] Ribbons Aplenty Lamp by Safestyle Inc

"It's not uncommon for the most wealthy and successful Sims to develop
paranoid tendencies. Are "they" coming to get you? Is your spouse cheating
with the handyman? The last thing you need on your mind is a lighting fixture
with lots of dangerous corners. Bask in its warm glow while simultaneously
basking in safety."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[5.03] R.O.I. Lighting

"Your current lighting fails to impress, because you simply didn't pay enough.
These days, true luxury, like R.O.I. Lighting, must be purchased for a
premium. Steep, you say? Pull out your spreadsheet, because a simple analysis
will prove that the high-quality glow and stylish light casing are more than
ample returns on your investment. R.O.I. Lighting: The investment 4 out of 5
accountants approve [of]!"

[6.01] Banquet of Six by Well Bred and Co.

"A family supported by such ample holdings should savor every meal time.
Delicacies should be enjoyed in between pompous mutterings of "could you please
pass the salt," and this is just the dining table for well-to-do consumers of
haute cuisine. The Banquet of Six - designed for elitists with money."

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[6.02] the Good Butler End Table

"Wealthy families cannot easily afford a permanent butler these days. Fret
not, for your new right hand (or left, if you choose to place it so) is merely
a purchase away. The Good Butler is the perfect surface upon which to place
bills, a flower vase -- whatever you'd normally hand a butler. Good Butler:
Classic adaptation for modern times."

[9.01] Notes

Glamour Stuff is one of the more, unthemed packs. The items however, are some
of the best that the game has to offer that does not include modded items or
custom items. The items such as the stereo, the dining chair and the bed are
the best in terms of their respectives motive replenishment. The decor items
are also cheaper to achieve the 10 Environment rating with the cheapest being
at 2100 Simoleons. It also features the third fountain, with the other two
being found in the prior expansion packs. It is a decent size fountain. The
items, for once, actually look good but some, like the dining chair look kind
of funky if you ask me, which you didn't.

The items work well in tandem (hand in hand) with the Open for Business
expansion pack since you can make a fair amount of money by selling these
expensive items. And the Well Bred and Co. company doesn't sound too legal
does it? Unlike the Family Fun Pack, it doesn't offer too many predictions
about the future expansion packs, it has no hints what so ever.
