2.- WELCOME TO THIS FAQ!

Hi guys! Let me introduce myself first. I'm Carlos Knox but mynickname is
CarlosPit. I'm 15 and I live in Peru (That's why you may find some
grammar mistakes in this guide). I have been playing MU Online for about...
3 years. I've played both Global MU Online and Private Servers.
In Global MU (Which I don't play anymore), I was a BK lvl 351. And I've 
played like 4 private servers and ofc I maxed most of my characters. 
Right now I'm the Head GameMaster of a private server (Can be found
in the Advertisement section). I'm a pretty experienced player and I 
decided to share my wisdom with all the newcomers. MU Online is a
really popular MMORPG so it's awesome when you play it, since 
you can meet a lot of new friends. I really hope you guys like 
my guide. Enjoy!

4.- GAME OBJECTIVE
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

We really should divide this in 2 Sections.



4.1 ::::::::: Global MU Online :::::::::

Global MU Online appeared before the Private Servers did (duh).
In Global MU, the max level is 400 and when you reach it, that is it.
You're done. You should be sooo proud of it. Of course, it is SO 
DAMN HARD to reach lvl 400. When you reach level 400, you should
get a decent set (By decent I mean Excellent +9) and a pair of wings.
You should remember that if you are a BK/SM/ME you will get 5 Stat Points
(SP) for each level you get, so choose wisely where to add them 
(Str, Agi, Ene, Vit). In www.gamefaqs.com you can find a nice guide that 
explains how to build your stats. Now you are lvl 400, you should either
Join or Create a clan. Then win GuildWars and register to Castle Siege 
(Section 4.3).


4.2 ::::::::: Private Servers :::::::::

Private Servers are different. Most of them are High Experience servers,
which makes leveling so much easier. So, if you're playing a Private MU
Server, when you get to Level 400 (Or 350, depending on the
Administrator), you can reset your character. That means your character
will return to level 1, BUT he/she will still have the SP you earned during
your first reset. That means, when you reset for your first time, you could
consider yourself as a character lvl 401 (But no one says "Hey, are you
a level 5100 character?"). In Private Servers, the more Resets (or RR) you
have, the more powerful you'll be. In most of the Private Servers, Max 
stats will be 32767. Obviously, you need a good set too.


4.3 ::::::::: Castle Siege :::::::::

The most exciting Event invented by the WebZen dudes. Have you ever
been present in a guild war? Yes? Then consider Castle Siege (or CS) 
a massive war. If you consider funny a war between 2 guilds, don't you 
think it would be awesome having a war between 10 guilds? Castle Siege
is the event that determines the strongest Alliance in the Server. To 
register, you must have a guide or an alliance (Alliance is reccomended).
The Alliance Master (Guild Master of the main guild) or Guild Master (If
you don't have an alliance) has to go to Valley of Loren and talk to the 
guard during Registration Period (This depends on the Server). Now you
registered, think you made it into CS? Uh, how to say it... NO! Now you 
gotta gather lots of Signs of Lord/Mark of Lord and someone in the Main
Alliance Clan has to go to Valley of Loren and give them to the Guard. The
3 Alliances that gather the most Signs during the Sign Registration Period
will be in Castle Siege.

5.- HOW TO CONTROL YOUR CHARACTER
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

5.1 ::::::::: Basics of the Game :::::::::


- F1: Help

- Left Click: Move / Simple Attack / Pick Up / Talk to NPC

- Right Click: Use Weapon Skill / Orb Skill / Scroll Skill

- V/I: Open/Closes your Inventory.

- C: Character Information (Class, Level, Exp Points, SP, etc)

- G: Guild Information (Guild Members, AGM, BM and Alliance) 
Note: If you're not in a guild, it will explain you how to make one.

- P: Party Information (Party Members, Location and Party Master) 
Note: If you're not in a party, it will explain you how to make one.

- Esc: Game Menu (Disconnect, Change Server, Change Character
  and Options)

- Q/W/E: Hotkeys. Used for Potions.

There are way more emotions, but those are the ones I remember 
right now.

6.- CHARACTERS
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the latest MU Version (Season 3 Episode 2) a new character appeared. That's
right Guys, a brand new character. Since the release of the Dark Lord,there had
not been a new char.But finally the WebZen guys did it! It's the summoner!
So, the characters you can choose are: Dark Knight, Dark Wizard, Fairy Elf,
Magic Gladiator, Dark Lord and Summoner. In this section you will find 
information of each character. Enjoy!



1.- Dark Knight (DK):

* Warp Point: Lorencia 

* Initial Values: Strength 25, Agility 20, Vitality 28 and Energy 10.

* Description: Kingdom of Knights, descendant of Lorencia. With a powerful
   strength and swordsmanship he can handle most of the close-range weapons.

* How to use it: The Dark Knight is supposed to be the strongest character in
   the game. Descendant of Lorencia, the best swordsman the MU Contient saw.
   You need a lot of patience to get him to the max level,but the effort
   is worth. Main PVP Character. With the use of the deathly combo he
   can own anything. Really high HP.

* How to spend your SP: ENERGY > AGILITY > STRENGTH > VITALITY
                                       2 > 1 > 1 > 1

* Buffs/Name: Yes/Life Swell Orb

* Best Attacks: Twisting Slash, Rageful Blow.



2.- Dark Wizard (DW):

* Warp Point: Lorencia

* Initial Values: Strength 15, Agility 18, Vitality 18, Energy 30.

* Description: Kingdom of Wizards, descendant of Arka, he has an
   inferior physical condition but has an enormous power and can 
   command attacking spells.

* How to use it: Biggest KSer (Kill Steal) in the MU continent. It's a pretty 
   easy character to train since he has long-range attacks. With 
   his buff he can increase the Defense of the other members of
   the party.

* How to spend your SP: ENERGY > AGILITY > VITALITY > STRENGTH 
                                       3 > 1 > 1  > 0

* Buffs/Name: Yes/Mana Shield

* Best Attacks: Nova, Decay, Ice Storm



3.- Fairy Elf (FE):

* Warp Point: Noria

* Initial Values: Strength 20, Agility 25, Vitality 22, Energy 15.

* Description: Kingdom of Elves, descendant of Noria. A master of arrows and
  bows and she can command various spells.

* How to use it: Hard to train. She has low attack and low defense, BUT she's
   really fast. She may not be that strong, but she can make others strong as 
   hell. She's the Buff Master. Sexiest character in the game.

* How to spend your SP: AGILITY > ENERGY > VITALITY > STRENGTH
                                       2 > 1 > 1 > 1

* Buffs/Names: Hell yes!/Heal,Increase Damage, Increase Defense

* Best Attacks: Triple Shot



4.- Summoner (S)

* Warp Point: Elbeland 1

* Initial Values: Strength 18, Agility 21, Vitality 21, Energy 23.

* Description: From the far Kingdom of Elbeland. The summoner has awaken!

* How to use it: It's pretty new, so I would say almost no one knows how to use
   it to release her max power, but by her name you probably realized what's her
   special ability didn't you? She has the power to summon beasts and spikes to
   hurt her enemies. Low Attack and Defense but high speed.

* How to spend your SP: ENERGY > STRENGTH > AGILITY > VITALITY
                                       2 > 1 > 1 > 1

* Buffs/Names: No

* Best Attacks: Book of Neil, Lightning Chain.  



5.- Magic Gladiator (MG)

* Warp Point: Lorencia

* Initial Values: Strength 26, Agility 26, Vitality 26, Energy 26.

* Description: Complex character that has some characteristics of the Dark
   Knight and some of the Dark Wizard. Master in a close-range combat and
   can command spells freely.

* How to use it: This character is pretty... weak. Magic Gladiators do not wear
   helmets, that means they have REALLY LOW defense. I'd say it is the weakest
   character. It's pretty much useless during CS and wars. It's easy to train.
   In Private Servers he can get maxed when he reaches 46 resets.
   Even though he has a lot of negative aspects, it's a really popular
   character.

* How to spend your SP: AGILITY > STRENGTH > ENERGY > VITALITY
                                       3 > 2 > 1 > 1

* Buffs/Names: No

* Best Attacks: PowerSlash, Fire Slash


 
6.- Dark Lord (DL)

* Warp Point: Lorencia

* Initial Values: Strength 20, Agility 20, Vitality 26, Energy 15, Command 25.

* Description: Charismatic character that can command the troops and handle
   the Dark Spirit and the Dark Horse.

* How to use it: Considered as the best GuildMaster. Why? Because if he has
  32767 in Command, he can have 80 Members in his guild. I don't know why, 
  but I don't see many Dark Lords... maybe because he has 5 Categories to 
  spend their SP in. This makes it a little... annoying to level him. He has an 
  awesome attack, AWESOME! But he has low defense.

* How to spend your SP: STRENGTH>AGILITY>ENERGY>VITALITY>COMMAND
                                       2 > 2 > 1 > 1 > 1

* Buffs/Name: Yes/Critical Damage

* Best Attacks: Fireburst

7.- SECOND LEVEL CHARACTER QUEST
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

This hasn't changed since Season 2. Only new thing is that the Summoner
can also do this quest.

Your class will upgrade as follows:

Dark Knight -> Blade Knight 
Dark Wizard -> Soul Master 
Fairy Elf -> Muse Elf 
Summoner -> Bloody Summoner



Quest Process and Requirements 

- Character must be a Level One Character (You can't do the quest two times)
- Must be level 150+
- Character has to talk to Priestess Sevina to activate the quest (Devias)
- Quest is divided into 2 parts.
- Part One: Character has to pay 1M zen and look for the Scroll of Emperor.
   It can be found by killing monsters in Dungeon 3, Atlans 1 and LT1.
- When you find it, pick it up. Go back to Devias and talk to Sevina. She will
  award you with 10 SP and assign you the second part of the quest.
- Part Two: Character has to pay 2M zen and you have to retrieve an item.
  If you are a:

DK = Broken Sword
DW = Soul of Wizard
FE = Tear of Elf
S = Don't remember (*)

- Items can be found by killing monsters in LT6
- Return to Devias and talk to Sevina. She will take the Quest Item and 
  she will:

* Award you with 10 SP
* Be a Level Two Character

8.- THIRD LEVEL CHARACTER QUEST
--------------------------------------------------------------------------

To the readers: To do this quest, you MUST have done Marlon's quest.

1st Class => 2nd Class => 3rd Class 

Dark Knight => Blade Knight => Blade Master 
Dark Wizard => Soul Master => Grand Master 
Elf => Muse Elf => High Elf 
Magic Gladiator => Duel Master 
Dark Lord => Lord Emperor 
Bloody Sumoner => Vicious Summoner

There are total 3 quests you need to complete in order to upgrade to
the next level 

For each quest section complete you will be awarded: 
lvl 380 -> quest 1 completed -> 10 extra stats points 
lvl 380 -> quest 2 completed -> 10 extra stats points 
lvl 400 -> quest 3 completed -> 20 extra stats points


1st Quest (Certificate of Strength) 

-Quest Starts and Ends: NPC Priest Devin - Location: CryWolf 
-Must be Level 380 or above with 5 million Zen. 
-Talk to quest NPC to start, read the dialogs to complete. 
-Must collect 3 each of the Flame of Death Beam Knight, Horn of Hell Maine, 
 and Feather of Phoenix of Darkness

2nd Quest (Infiltration of Barracks of Ballgass) 

-Quest Starts and Ends: NPC Priest Devin - Location: CryWolf 
-Must be level 400 and have completed the 1st quest, and have
  7 million Zen with you. 
-Enter the map Barracks of Ballgass and kill 10 each of Balram (Trainee), 
  Death Spirit (Trainee) and Soram (Trainee). 

3rd Quest (Into The Darkness) 

-Quest Starts and Ends: NPC Priest Devin - Location: CryWolf 
-Must be level 400 and have completed the 2nd quest, and have
  10 million Zen with you. 
-Enter the Refuge of Ballgass which is located inside at the end of
  Barracks of Ballgass, and kill 10 Dark Elfs (Trainee).
