Hi and welcome to my Team FAQ. This FAQ concentrates on the 4 teams
found in the game. The main focus of this FAQ is to tell you all about
the teams.

*6. What is a Team? *
======================================================================

A team is like a group where people will cooperate to achieve one goal
- to win. In this game, that is the case. All of the members of the
team must cooperate to win against the opposing team. Members of the
team must cooperate as a group in order to lead their team to victory.

*7. The Teams *
======================================================================

There are only 4 teams in the game. They are the Terrorist Force,
Counter-Terrorist Force, VIPs and Spectators. A detailed description 
will follow for each team.

*7A. Terrorist Force *
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The Terrorist Force is actually the counterpart of the Counter-
Terrorist Force. The Terrorist Force has also some decent guns like
the AK-47(Buy-4-1) etc. Models for this team are Phoenix Connexion,
L337 Krew, Arctic Avengers and Guerilla Warfare.

*7B. Counter-Terrorist Force *
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The Counter-Terrorist Force is actually the counterpart of the
Terrorist Force. The Counter-Terrorist Force has a balanced guns like
the Colt Commando (Buy-4-3) etc. Models for this team are Seal Team 6
(DEVGRU), German GSG-9, UK SAS and French GIGN.

*7C. VIP *
----------------------------------------------------------------------

This is a very important team and this team only appears to maps that
have the prefix "as_". The bad part is that VIPs cannot buy guns. And
has only their primary handgun which is the KM 12.45 Tactical and has
only 12 rounds of bullets ( 12/12 ). There is only one model for this
which has no name but it is like a fat guy with white shirt and a bit
emo.

*7D. Spectators *
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyone who belong to this group, are just looking at how the players
of each team are doing. You can see them walk, firing at the opposing
team etc. Unless you decided to be on a team (Terrorist or Counter-
Terrorist), you can participate in the battle.

======================================================================

This FAQ lists down the models of each team along with its description
if there is any.

*8A. Terrorist Force *
----------------------------------------------------------------------

For this section, there are 4 models to choose from and 1 hidden. They
also have their description.

A) Phoenix Connexion
- "Having established a reputation for killing anyone that gets in
their way, the Phoenix Faction is one of the most feared terrorist
groups in Eastern Europe. Formed shortly after the breakup of the
USSR."

B) L337 Krew
- "Middle Eastern fundamentalist group bent on world domination and
various other evil deeds."

C) Arctic Avenger
- "Swedish terrorist faction founded in 1977. Famous for their bombing
of the Canadian embassy in 1990."

D) Guerilla Warfare
- "A terrorist faction founded in the Middle East, this group has a
reputation for ruthlessness. Their disgust for the American lifestyle
was demonstrated in their 1982 bombing of a school bus full of Rock
and Roll musicians."

E) Midwest Militia (Hidden)
- "The Midwest Militia is a right-wing extremist movement consisting
of formal and informal armed paramilitary groups. This anti-government
group was founded in 1993 after the standoff in Waco, Texas."

*NOTE*: This Midwest Militia is hidden and actually can be your model
if you select "Auto-Select" that lets you pick your model randomly.
The model is only on CS 1.6, CS: CZ and CS: Source. If you are lucky 
enough, your model or your look will be the Midwest Militia. If you 
have "Counter-Strike: Condition Zero", this is visible in the model 
selection.

*8B. Counter-Terrorist Force *
----------------------------------------------------------------------

For this section, there are 4 models to choose from and 1 hidden. They
also have their description.

A) Seal-Team 6
- "ST-6 (to be known later as DEVGRU) was founded in 1980 under the
command of Lieutenant-Commander Richard Marcincko. ST-6 was placed on
permanent alert to respond to terrorist attacks against American
targets worldwide."

B) German GSG-9
- "GSG-9 was born out of the tragic events that led to the death of
several Israeli athletes during the 1972 Olympic games in Munich,
Germany."

C) British SAS
- ""The world-renowned British SAS was founded in the Second World War
by a man named David Stirling. Their role during WW2 involved
gathering intelligence behind enemy lines and executing sabotage
strikes and assassinations against key targets."

D) French GIGN
- "France's elite Counter-Terrorist unit, the GIGN, was designed to be
a fast response force that could decisively react to any large-scale
terrorist incident. Consisting of no more than 100 men, the GIGN has
earned its reputation through a history of successful ops."

E) Russian Spetsnaz (Hidden)
- "The primary missions of the Russian SPETSNAZ are: acquiring
intelligence on major economic and military installations and either
destroying them or putting them out\nof action, organizing sabotage
and acts of subversion;\ncarrying out punitive operations against
rebels; forming and\ntraining insurgent detachments, etc."

*NOTE*: This Russian Spetsnaz is hidden and actually can be your model
if you select "Auto-Select" that lets you pick your model randomly.
The model is only on CS 1.6, CS: CZ and CS: Source. If you are lucky 
enough, your model or your look will be the Russian Spetsnaz. If you 
have "Counter-Strike: Condition Zero", this is visible in the model 
selection.

*8C. VIP *
----------------------------------------------------------------------

For this section, there is only one model but the model is not visible
on the model selection screen. The model itself doesn't have a 
description too. There are many looks of the VIP depending on the
version of your Counter-Strike.

*8D. Spectators *
----------------------------------------------------------------------

There is absolutely no models for this team. If your a spectator, you
will act like a ghost and you wont be seen by other players. So you
dont have a model.

*9. Functions *
======================================================================

The functions of each team are here. The two main teams are the:

a)Terrorist Force
b)Counter-Terrorist Force

The other two are still part of the game but there are not the main
ones. Instead, i still listed them down because you can have access
to the teams too.

*9A. Terrorist Force *
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyone who belongs to this group can set-up a bomb called C4 on a bomb
site. That is only applicable to the member of this team who carries
the C4 bomb. Other members who doesnt carry the C4 bomb should protect
and assist the one who carries it until to the bomb site if the one
who carries it plans to set-up a bomb. When the one who carries the
C4 Bomb is successful in planting the bomb in the bomb site, you
should defend it until it explodes.

*9B. Counter-Terrorist Force *
----------------------------------------------------------------------

The main goal for anyone who chose to be part of this group is to
defuse the C4 Bomb planted by the terrorists. Especiallly if you have
so many Terrorist opponents, you would want to launch an ambush while
hiding to one of the bomb sites. The fastest way to defuse the C4 bomb
is to buy a Defuse Kit worth $200 ( if you are part of the Counter-
Terrorist Force ). This will hasten up the time that you will defuse
the bomb. Also, the best way to defuse the C4 Bomb is to eliminate all
Terrorist Force members or in that area while your other members guard
you while defusing the kit.

*9C. VIP *
----------------------------------------------------------------------

There is only one goal for VIPs. That goal is to just escape and head
to the VIP Escape Zone which is the helicopter (as_oilrig). If you are
the VIP, you should be protected by your fellow Counter-Terrorists on
your way to the VIP Escape Zone. VIPs has 100 Health and 200 Armor but
cannot buy guns, grenades and has only 1 gun which is the KM 12.45
Tactical. On this game, when you bought or have downloaded this game
(Counter-Strike 1.0.0.3), you will have 1 pre-made map which is the
as_oilrig. To get more maps, try searching "download maps for CS 1.3"
on Google or Yahoo!

*9D. Spectators *
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Well there isn't anything to say about this but the only thing that i
can say about this team is that they can watch people play in the
game. You can also scroll to other players by pressing the SPACEBAR to
navigate to other players.Also, you can explore the whole map via Free
Look Mode when you click Left-Click a few times.

- This section of the FAQ lists the meanings of some words used on
this FAQ. It maybe deep so i gave them a definition to help you out
navigate the entire FAQ.

FAQ - abbreviation of "Frequently Asked Questions". This consists of
      questions frequently asked by some people that may have some
      troubles on the topic given.

Version - indicates the number of updates that the FAQ (including
          this)is on. It also indicates how old the FAQ is by
          knowing how many versions/updates has it gone through.

Copyright - proof of ownership that a certain property of a certain
            person is rightfully his/hers. If someone takes it away
            without permission from the author, it is a copyright
            violation.

Terrorist - people who mostly plant bombs to destroy a certain place.
            These are also people who involves bad militar operations
            such as bombing etc.

Counter-Terrorists - "Anti-Terrorists". These people are the ones
                     responsible for eliminating the Terrorists.

VIP - Very Important Personnel. These people has only one goal - to
      escape to the VIP Escape Zone. Also, this belongs to the
      Counter-Terrorist Force.

Spectators - people who view participants on a certain game that they
             are not involved.

Glossary - "The terms that you may not know are here just in-case".
           You are here on this section. It lists the different deep
           words and its definitions.

Credits - where the author will thank the people who helped made the
          FAQ of a certain topic, game etc.

C4 Bomb - a bomb that the Terrorists use to bomb a bomb site.

Defuse Kit - a kit that is use to hasten the speed to defuse a C4 Bomb.

Free-Look Mode - This mode is only applicable when you are dead and
                 This is where you can fully scroll to the whole map
                 area for fun ;).

Half-Life - The one who made this game.
