Some info says that it was released for two PC platforms: Windows and Macintosh, but gamefaqs still don't add the data for the Macintosh release. This document is made based from the Windows version. This-like games (multiple platforms) are pretty common in case you do not know. They are pretty much the same, some of them even are duplicates. Spoiler note: This FAQ/Walkthrough contains a little sweetener storyline and all technical informations inside. If this means spoiler to you, then don't read this document. This document is best viewed with the original display on the net, or with a word processor using fixed-width font style, such as courrier series or lucida console. RULES +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ The basic rules of the game can be found by clicking "How To Play" in the main menu. The customers types has increased! (More and this won't be fun anymore) Their tipping behavior has also changed. I think this change only makes this game harder. Here are their behavior, I will explain them in more detail to match with the complexity of this game: 1. Young lady: - She gives maximum 110 pts. Every one addition to the group will add 10 pts to the maximum point. - Losing half heart costs you 10 pts. - She'll ask for dessert if 4/5 of the heart is filled after she finishes eating. - Moderately patient, moderate speed. - Noise reduces 1/2 heart. 2. Tourist: - A tourist gives maximum 120 pts. Every one addition to the group will add 20 pts to the maximum point. - Losing half heart costs you 10 pts. - They'll ask for dessert if 3/5 of the heart is filled after they finish eating. - Patient when waiting, impatient at the table, moderate speed. - Noise reduces 1/2 heart. 3. Family: - The family can come in various combinations of senior, dads, mums, kids, and babies with the total number of people = 2 or 3 (the babies do not count). - Two of them give maximum 130 pts, three of them give maximum 145 pts. - Losing half heart costs you 10 pts. - They'll ask for dessert if 3/5 of the heart is filled after they finish eating. - Moderately patient, moderate speed. - Noisy when unhappy, do not mind noise. 4. Lovebirds: - They give maximum 120 pts. - Losing half heart costs you 10 pts. - They'll ask for dessert if 4/5 of the heart is filled after they finish eating. - Moderately patient, moderate speed. - Noisy randomly, do not mind noise. 5. Bookworm: - He gives maximum 110 pts. Every one addition to the group will add 10 pts to the maximum point. - Losing half heart costs you 10 pts. - He'll ask for dessert if 4/5 of the heart is filled after he finishes eating. - Patient, slow. - Noise reduces 1 heart. 6. Senior: - He gives maximum 105 pts. Every one addition to the group will add 5 pts to the maximum point. - Losing half heart costs you 10 pts. - He'll ask for dessert if 4/5 of the heart is filled after he finishes eating. - Patient, slow. - Noise reduces 1/2 heart. 7. Jogger: - She gives maximum 110 pts. Every one addition to the group will add 10 pts to the maximum point. - Losing half heart costs you 10 pts. - She will never ask for dessert. - Moderately patient, moderate speed. - Does not mind noise. 8a. Museum business woman: - She gives maximum 220 pts. Every one addition to the group will add 20 pts to the maximum point. - Losing half heart costs you 20 pts. - She'll ask for dessert if 4/5 of the heart is filled after she finishes eating. - Impatient, high speed. - Noise reduces 1/2 heart. 8b. Beach and disco business woman: - She gives maximum 120 pts. Every one addition to the group will add 20 pts to the maximum point. - Losing half heart costs you 10 pts. - The others are the same with above. 9. Cell addict: - He gives maximum 220 pts. Every one addition to the group will add 20 pts to the maximum point. - Losing half heart costs you 20 pts. - He'll ask for dessert if 4/5 of the heart is filled after he finishes eating. - Impatient, high speed. - Noisy, does not mind noise. 10. Teenager: - He/she gives maximum 55 pts. Every one addition to the group will add 5 pts to the maximum point. - Losing half heart costs you 5 pts. - He'll ask for dessert if 4/5 of the heart is filled after he finishes eating. - Moderately patient, moderate speed. - Moderately noisy except when flirting, does not mind noise. 11. Hungry man: - He gives maximum 110 pts. Every one addition to the group will add 10 pts to the maximum point. - Losing half heart costs you 10 pts. - He'll ask for dessert if 1.5/5 of the heart is filled after he finishes eating the SECOND dish (He's hungry, remember?). - Moderately patient, moderate speed. - Noise reduces 1/2 heart. 12. Celebrity: - He gives maximum 550 pts. Every one addition to the group will add 50 pts to the maximum point. - Losing half heart costs you 50 pts. Can we phrase this? "If Zhang Fei worths one thousand soldiers, then a celebrity worths five young ladies." Wait, what am I bubbling about? - He'll ask for dessert if 4/5 of the heart is filled after he finishes eating. - Impatient, moderate speed (Kinda selfish, right?). - Noise reduces 1/2 heart. 13. Food critic: - She gives maximum 550 pts. - Losing half heart costs you 50 pts. - She'll ask for dessert if 1.5/5 of the heart is filled after she finishes eating. - Impatient, moderate speed (What a critic.. She can get the critic herself for being selfish -__^). - Noise reduces 1 heart. 15. Customer who has table reserved: - All behavior is the same except more impatient when waiting. (Is this fair enough?) 16. Mix: It's the mix of the groups above. 16a. Camping group. - Consists of young lady and kids. Sometimes there is father of family inside. - Two of them give maximum 60 pts. Every one addition to the group will add 5 pts to the maximum point. Losing half heart costs you 5 pts. - Moderately patient, moderate speed. - Noise reduces 1/2 heart. 16b. Other mixes. - Including business woman, cell addict, young lady, family's father, jogger, tourist, and bookworm just like the previous game. - Tipping behavior just like beach/disco business women and tourists. - They can be impatient like business types until REALLY impatient like.... (I dunno), except when asking for snacks (I wonder what makes them so impatient?). Their speed is idem. - Only appears at Flo's Inferno. Scoring: 1. Picking menu = 20 pts each action. 2. Serving food = 30 pts each action. 3. Giving the cheque = 50 pts each action. 4. Clearing the dishes = 40 pts each action. 5. Matching the color seat = 100 pts per person. Maximum color bonus per seat is 400 pts. 6. Mopping = 30 pts each action. 7. Serving desserts = 80 pts each action. 8. Serving snacks = 100 pts each action. 9. Flirt bonus = 20 pts for each group. 10. Star struck = 20 pts for each group. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ C. GENERAL TIPS +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ This is some advices to you who want to pass all the shifts: 1. So, you think that Diner Dash: Flo On The Go was not enough of a challenge? This game may be right for you. 13 (Friday the thirteen) plus plus types of customers and some brand new wules may make your head esplodes....aww! Sorry, but if you finish this game and you feel kinda dizzy, please go complain to Playfirst(TM), not me. But, patience and time can conquer complicacy. Remember an old story about running contest between a mouse deer(?) and a snail? 2. I think it's better if you just pass the previous game, I can't imagine newcomers overcome this complexity. Otherwise, you should be prepared for it. Not only they added a few new rules, but they also "fixed" some parts to make sure that you will not have a walk in the park. 3. You can retry the shift unlimited times anytime. 4. Last but not least: Try to enjoy the game especially if you don't earn any money from this activity. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ D. WALKTHROUGH +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Before anything, let's do some hardware check: ->Although this game is more complicated and/or sophisticated than Diner Dash: Flo On The Go, but it needs less CPU power than Diner Dash: Flo On The Go. Surprised? ->Contradictorily, this game surely needs a lot of memory to run for just a [casual game] (More than average PS2 generation games!). All the animations surely is heavy! If your game just starts to slow down, then just quit and restart the game. ->This game can't be run under DOS. After seeing some rumors brewing from Playfirst, this game seems to have two versions which I'm myself not very clear about their differences. The clearest difference for me is the title screen for Gourmet Edition has Gourmet Edition sign inside (Isn't that clear enough?!): 1. A regular Diner Dash: Hometown Hero. Even this regular version has at least more than one versions: First peek version (1.1.0.310), regular version (ranges between 1.1.0.400-600), retail version (all of the versions above can be retailed, am I correct?). 2. Diner Dash Hometown Hero: Gourmet Edition. The only (untested) method I know for obtaining the Gourmet Edition is: First: Go to www.playfirst.com. Second: Sign up a Playfirst account. Third: Log in with your Playfirst account. Fourth: Download the Gourmet Edition FREE from Playfirst. (Phew.. that means nobody will ask for Activation Key. Yay!) What is improved from its predecessors? A. Complicatedness. B. Multiplayer a.k.a. online feature. "Social" people around here would love this feature. C. Dress your own waiter or waitress to play multiplayer. Earn and/or purchase hundreds of clothing items with Gourmet Edition. D. Make your own Diner to play multiplayer. Earn and/or purchase hundreds of decor items with Gourmet Edition. E. Optimization and/or simplification of the program. F. With Gourmet Edition, you can play the future releases of Diner Dash "only" by purchasing them! Yay! Those includes: - Waterpark Madness - - Crypt Cafe | - Hometown Harvest |- Diner Dash: Seasonal Snack Pack(TM) - Winter Wonderland | - Romantic Rendezvous - - The Caveman Cafe - - Pharaoh's Feast | - All Knight Diner |- Diner Dash: Flo Through Time(TM) - Buccaneer Bistro | - Snack to the Future - - Diner Dash - 1001 Bites - - Diner Dash - Through the Cooking Glass | - Diner Dash - Fee Fi Flo Fun |- Diner Dash: Once Upon A Diner - Diner Dash - The Dash Slipper | (TM) - Diner Dash - Munchkin Lunchkin - - Probably more to come... Quite many, isn't it? If you love Diner Dash, this will be a good news, right? G. With Gourmet Edition, you can earn and display medals. What is NOT improved from its predecessors? (This is probably something like critique, but remember that this release is not final yet. Moreover, if things -I don't know what to name better- just want to cooperate, then just accept and/or understand. The future will be brighter). A. I believe that the customer types are too many. Playfirst(TM) should discard some old ones and bring some new ones for some future releases. B. Hmm... I don't see any contest between Diner Dash with the other popular games. What is lacking? Enough the chatter, and now, you can execute the game. Once you execute it, you may get this message: "You're currently playing the offline version of Diner Dash: Hometown Hero - Gourmet Edition. To see all the online features, make sure you're connected to the Internet and restart the game." Logically, if you want to see all the online features then connect to the Internet first, right? WRONG. Sorry, Playfirst(TM), but after I connect to the Internet, I still get the message. So, you probably need to Log in first. Then, click on the Story Mode option. The comics you always see (since Diner Dash 1) now turns into a simple animation! Isn't that great? Now, Flo and her grandma Florence back to her hometown and they wanna build its economy. Will you help her? If yes, then read on. If not, then bye. ^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^ SAFARI CAFE AT THE ZOO ^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^ Let's check what is inside your wardrobe at start. Some of them are your clothes in Diner Dash: Flo On The Go. I name them just the same. Some of them are new. I'm no good enough to name them, if you think you can name them better, please just mail me, you'll be credited if you name them better: --Sailor Hat, Hair Band, Sunglasses: 10 colors. --Blouse, Wizard Robe, Contest Winner Shirt, Scoutboy Shirt: 10 colors. --Lil' Apron, Flower Apron, Apron: 10 colors. --Pants, Shorts, Capris, Contest Winner Pants: 10 colors. --Sandals, Shoes, Open Toe Shoes, Closed Toe Shoes, Basketball Shoes: 10 colors. The inventory will add when you are further in the game. And add even more from online. If you fail a shift, you'll get a note from the game. But now the note's different from usual because it's not always helpful, and what is more, it sometimes can bewilder you from reaching the goal! (if you follow it) A. LEVEL 1 Goal: 500 pts. Expert goal: 1000 pts. Difficulty: 1/10. Total tables: 3. Fail Note: Darn, we didn't earn enough this shift. Let's give it another shot so that we can get this cafe running smoothly again and get more people into the zoo! You will see that your customers do not change their outfits. Just the same with those from Diner Dash: Flo on the Go. Are they really in the mood for vacation? The first level is a tutorial level. Just click "Skip Tutorial" if you feel that you are not a newb. B. LEVEL 2 Goal: 2000 pts. Expert goal: 3000 pts. Difficulty: 2/10. Decor unlocked: --Blue Counter With Elephant Accents. --Stone Counter With Banana Leaves. --Blue Tile Counter. Total tables: 8. Fail Note: We didn't earn enough this shift. Remember that we can seat customers in chairs that match the color of their outfits to earn a bonus. Here goes a new rule (again). You can now join a table with another table that is near enough. How many are we going to see these? C. LEVEL 3 Goal: 2500 pts. Expert goal: 5000 pts. Difficulty: 3/10. New items to serve: (Hungry after seeing these?) --Jungle Kebabs. --Taste o' Britain Fish and Chips. --Lovely Lovely Lobster! Total tables: 10. Fail Note: We didn't quite meet our goal for that shift. Try not to leave the teen girls sitting next to the other customers for too long. D. LEVEL 4 Goal: 5000 pts. Expert goal: 7000 pts. Difficulty: 5/10. Decor unlocked: --Circular Tile With Elephant Pattern. --Blue Tile. --Red Tile With Giraffe Pattern. Total tables: 12. Fail Note: That didn't go so well. Remember to serve drinks to tables that are getting unhappy. E. LEVEL 5 Goal: 7000 pts. Expert goal: 9000 pts. Difficulty: 6/10. Upgrades: --Standard Running Shoes. --Pro Chef. --Drink Master Ultra. Total tables: 15. Fail Note: Oops.. that Valentine's Day was like a lonely hearts convention! Remember that teenagers will flirt and stop using their noisy cell phones, if you seat them near each other. ...Do all the teenagers flirt like that? BTW, One kind of customer that will be quite annoying if they come along with all the others. And you probably notice the flirt bonus if you seat the male near the female groups. This kind of bonus is unchainable (and the value is very small too). Then, choose one of three available upgrades. This idea must be coming from Endless Shift. F. LEVEL 6 Goal: Earn more than Tony/Aimee/Michele. Expert goal: Earn 500 more points than Tony/Aimee/Michele. Difficulty: 5/10. Total tables: 15. Fail Note: We didn't earn enough this shift. Remember to mop spills up as soon as you see them happen. One reason to say that this game is getting harder is now your staff members won't help you anymore, they now become your opponent! Probably good if you wanna practice for multiplayer. There are 3 opponents to choose and they should be about the same. So, it does not matter whom you choose. If you are new to competition like this or not concentrate well enough, you may get confused about Flo's location because of so many movements. But, instead of that, this kind of competition is surely a fun improvement made to the game (better than the blackout, right?) All the place are free for onyone, means you have to contend all the things with your staff. If you are slower than him/her, then you won't get anything and your action(s) will be halted. Overall, this is just a polite greeting, the fiercer competitions are ahead. G. LEVEL 7 Goal: 6000 pts. Expert goal: 8000 pts. Difficulty: 6/10. Decor Unlocked: --Bear. --Flamingo. --Toucan. Total tables: 17. Fail Note: Ooh.. Let's remember to keep that reserved table open for the folks who called in earlier. A little bit crowdy at the end of this shift. You may lose them if you are not careful. H. LEVEL 8 Goal: 6200 pts. Expert goal: 9000 pts. Difficulty: 6/10. Upgrades: --Standard Running Shoes or Super Running Shoes if you selected Standard Running Shoes earlier. --Pro Chef or Pro Chef Silver if you selected Pro Chef earlier. --Drink Master Ultra or Drink Master Max Pro if you selected Drink Master Ultra earlier. BTW, Drink Master Max Pro probably a tiny bit faster to make drinks, but no bigger mood boost. Total tables: 16. Fail Note: We didn't earn enough this shift. We'll have to move a little quicker to keep those customers happy! A little note from me: ------- ------- | 1 | | 2 | ------- | | ------- ------- | 3 | ------- Table 2 will connect to table 1, but will not connect with table 3. Maybe kinda nosy, but important, no? I. LEVEL 9 Goal: 10000 pts. Expert goal: 13000 pts. Difficulty: 6/10. Decor Unlocked: --Jungle Stone Table And Chairs. --Purple Tile Table And Chairs. --Elite Stone Table And Chairs. Total tables: 22. Fail Note: Even though we were working hard, we didn't make enough to meet the goal. Let's give it another shot! J. LEVEL 10 Goal: 10500 pts. Expert goal: 13000 pts. Difficulty: 7/10. Decor unlocked: --Potted Plants. --Ferns. --Palm Tree. Total tables: 19. Fail Note: Oh so close! We gotta make it through this shift or they'll feed us to the lion! (WTF) There are more than one customers who reserve a table. The (weird) thing to know is when you lose a reserving-table-customer, you will lose the timer for the next customers. Alhtough there are only 7 tables here, but Flo don't take the shortest path to go through tables. That could make this shift more difficult. ----------------------------------- | | | ------FLO-------------------- | | | ------- ------- | | | | | | | | | | |\ | /| 1 | | | | | | \v/ ------- ------- | | | /^\ | | |/ | \------- ------- ------- | | | | | | | | | | | | | | ------- ------- ------- | | | |---> <--------------------| | | ------- ------- | | | | | | | | | 2 | | | | | ------- ------- | ----------------------------------- Just a simple diagram (probably it's too simple..) to show the condition. When FLO moves from table 1 to table 2, she does not take the left path (marked with a big X sign --supposedly--), but she will take the right path instead. If you get expert for all levels of this zoo, then you will unlock a new secret level. So does all the other places. Unlocking restaurant 2 will unlock some new clothings: a. Baseball Cap. b. Baseball Shirt. c. Not-So-Long-Troussers(?). d. Ball Apron. e. Soccer Shoes. ^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^ DINER AT HOMERUN PARK ^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^ Baseball surely is not my favorite sport, but look at the atmosphere and the gorgeous music. Waaaaaa The customer color increased by one like usual, but every customer leaving now reduces your pts by 650. K. LEVEL 1 Goal: 4000 pts. Expert goal: 5500 pts. Difficulty: 4/10. Total tables: 13. Fail Note: Oh no, let's give that another shot. That super noise from the speaker will reduce your customer's mood by 1 heart and causing a spill (even though there is nothing on the table). So, how to prevent that from happening? L. LEVEL 2 Goal: 5000 pts. Expert goal: 7500 pts. Difficulty: 6/10. Decor unlocked: --Baseball Memorabilia. --Grandma's Favorite Game --Colorful Jerseys. Total tables: 14. Fail Note: We didn't earn enough this shift. Watch where you seat the Hungry Men, they stick around for awhile. Yikes! Do you hear that brand new noise? Is that some monsters coming? -Joke mode on- M. LEVEL 3 Goal: 8000 pts. Expert goal: 10500 pts. Difficulty: 6/10. New items to serve: --The Homerun Diner's Famous Chili Dogs! --Smashing Kebabs. --Seventh Inning Stretch Burgers. Total tables: 17. Fail Note: We didn't earn enough this shift. Remember those flowers will give a boost to whomever you seat at the table. That speaker act up again. It influences the upper-right table only. But now, since the customer's type has increased, the arrangement will be harder, but you have drinks, so use it well. Happy to see the podium? You shouldn't be so happy right now because Playfirst(TM) has turned your podium into a snail-speed podium. Hear that evil laugh? N. LEVEL 4 Goal: 9500 pts. Expert goal: 12000 pts. Difficulty: 6/10. Upgrades: --Standard Running Shoes. --Deluxe Podium. --Drink Master Ultra. Total tables: 19. Fail Note: We didn't earn enough that time, but I know we can do it. Don't forget to keep an eye out for spills after the loudspeaker goes off. The same mistake again?!! The loudspeaker is fine. O. LEVEL 5 Goal: 10500 pts. Expert goal: 13500 pts. Difficulty: 7/10. Decor Unlocked: --Diamond Floor. --Baseball Design. --Redwood Deck. Total tables: 18. Fail Note: We didn't earn enough that time, but I know we can do it. Don't forget to click on the podium and stand next to it for several seconds before clicking somewhere else. They have a quite high expert goal this early. You should be more careful. One more thing to make this game harder than the previous game is: there is more snack appearance. And since Flo On The Go, you cannot carry snacks (and desserts) if there is no request. Although it is quite small of a problem, but that can be a problem if things go complicated and/or if you have many hands. P. LEVEL 6 Goal: 12500 pts. Expert goal: 14500 pts. Difficulty: 7/10. Decor unlocked: --Blue Retaining Wall. --Standstone Retaining Wall. --Clear Glass Retaining Wall. Total tables: 17. Fail Note: We didn't earn enough this shift. Keep a close eye on the regulars to make sure they're not getting too upset by other noisy tables. This is probably rather early to see one of the hardest expert goals in this game. In order to "only" reach the goals, you have to do at least a perfect chaining, from menu to clearing dishes. To reach the expert goal, you have to do a careful planning and match the color really well or the easier way..............do you know the secret weapon of Diner Dash: Hometown Hero? it is.......................... the flower! By putting the flower before your customers sit, you have 100 bonus point. But, that's probably not enough, you have to enhance your snail podium earlier so that the waiting customers won't leave you. This level is the only one to see a "new" type of customer: The camping group. The camping group does not behave like family, they are low tipper. Not forget to mention that the kids also can spill although not so often. Q. LEVEL 7 Goal: 11500 pts. Expert goal: 13500 pts. Difficulty: 7/10. Decor unlocked: --Verdant Green Diamond Table/Chairs. --Champion Baseball Table/Chairs. --Picnic Table/Chairs. Total tables: 19. Fail Note: We didn't earn enough this shift. Remember to keep those celebrities happy and it will pay off big time. Only a group of them will appear in this shift. Make sure you have that full 600 points if you want the expert goal (of course chaining and careful color matching will also help). That star struck bonus is like flirt bonus. It can be gained for seating the celebrities near to the other groups (but don't seat them first). It's also unchainable. Oh also, celebrity can't star-strike the other celebrities (But why?.....*___*) R. LEVEL 8 Goal: 14000 pts. Expert goal: 18000 pts. Difficulty: 8/10. Upgrades: --Standard Running Shoes or Super Running Shoes if you selected Standard Running Shoes earlier. --Deluxe Podium or Luxury Podium if you selected Deluxe Podium earlier. It seems that Playfirst(TM) lies again, Deluxe Podium does not give customers bigger mood boost. --Drink Master Ultra or Drink Master Max Pro if you selected Drink Master Ultra earlier. Total tables: 19. Fail Note: Looks like we struck out this time, let's give it another try. That expert goal can be quite cruel. Three groups of celebrities will appear this shift and make sure you keep them as happy as possible to get the expert goal. The table arrangement is also annoyingsome. If you are familiar enough with Diner Dash, you will know that Flo always serves a table from above (downward view), EXCEPT that table no. 1 below, It seems that Flo is too fat to fit the area above table no.1... So, what's the problem? When you want to serve table 1 from table 2, you will think that your mouse is broken. But the truth is Flo has served that table already. You may want to be cautious about this, especially if you want the expert goal for level 8,9,10. ---------------------------- | ------- \ / | | | 1 | v | | ------- ^ | | ------- FLO---/-\ | | | | -------/ \ | | ------- | | | | | 2 | | | ------- | S. LEVEL 9 Goal: Earn more than Peggy/Tasha/Jess. Expert goal: Earn 2000 more points than Peggy/Tasha/Jess. Difficulty: 4/10. Total tables: 20. Fail Note: Amazing effort, but we didn't earn quite enough. Let's get this crazy ballpark going again. And now, you should be more used to competition like this. This shift should be a pushover. T. LEVEL 10 Goal: 13000 pts. Expert goal: 15500 pts. Difficulty: 7/10. Decor unlocked: --Ivy-Covered Hall Of Fame Hall. --Tropical Foliage Wall. --Gloves o' Brick Wall. Total tables: 18. Fail Note: Oh so close! Remember to match the customer color to the seat color. But anyone can sit in the seats that have no color. This is only a teaser version, harder version is yet to come. If you manage to get no customer leaving, the color bonuses should be enough to get even an expert score. And now, if you are watchful enough, in the middle of this shift, you will hear a new sound (like a snake goes thru a tree), Is that really a snake coming to Flo's restaurant? Dun dun dun!!! Oh it's not. Diner dash veteran players will *probably* miss her, the Food Critic. If she's got unhappy, she will write something, probably if she's unhappy enough, she will write down all the animals of the zoo above. Clothing unlocked: a. Business Suit. b. Troussers. ^-^^-^^-^^-^ MUSEUM GRILL ^-^^-^^-^^-^ Now you have restored the Homerun Park, time to go to another messy place. The customer color increased by one like usual, but every customer leaving now reduces your pts by 850. Celebrity and food critic leaving costs twice the punishment. U. LEVEL 1 Goal: 5500 pts. Expert goal: 9000 pts. Difficulty: 4/10. Total tables: 13. Fail Note: Great effort, but we didn't earn quite enough this shift. It's tough without a podium. We'll have to clear tables as quickly as we can. How come?? That beast looks angry, I think it may harm the customers because there is no fence there. BTW, what it can do is only causing some shake so that the customers no matter who they are and no matter what is inside the table will spill just like the previous game. This shift should be easy, the table arrangement is nice, no customer will get annoyed by the others' noise. But the expert goal is not that easy though. V. LEVEL 2 Goal: 9500 pts. Expert goal: 11500 pts. Difficulty: 6/10. Decor unlocked: --Stone Counter. --Granite Counter With Gold Base. --Blue Marble Pillared Counter. Total tables: 19. Fail Note: Darn, We didn't earn enough this shift. Remember that we can seat customers in chairs that match the color of their outfits to earn a bonus. The reservation this shift is trickier than before (looks like the teengirls come later than the schedule), so watch out. W. LEVEL 3 Goal: 7550 pts. Expert goal: 11000 pts. Difficulty: 6/10. New items to serve: (Lobster mixed with Fish Fillets looks tasty, now that I think about it, that stinky animal that sometimes comes from the sewer around here looks like the lobster in that graphics. Really!). --Crepes Rex. --Mammoth Lobsters. --Flo's Fish Fillets. Total tables: 15. Fail Note: Oops, let's try that again. The good news is, it looks like my favorite T-Rex exhibit is back. All of the customers' outfit do not change, except for the Seniors (Probably they are the ol' senior's wife). Gosh, how fashionable oldies are nowadays?! The average slow customers come in slow pace does not make this shift so easy. Without the flower bonus, it's very hard to reach the expert goal. Oh, also, the mammoth makes mess again. X. LEVEL 4 Goal: 9500 pts. Expert goal: 10500 pts. Difficulty: 7/10. Upgrades: --Standard Running Shoes. --Deluxe Bench. --Pro Chef. Total tables: 15. Fail Note: Wow, that was close. Try to seat teens next to each other but away from quieter the museum patrons, like the bookworms. The goal and expert goal is so close this shift. Y. LEVEL 5 Goal: 12000 pts. Expert goal: 15000 pts. Difficulty: 6/10. Decor unlocked: --T-Rex Mosaic. --Mammoth Design Inlay. --Classic Blue And Grey Tile. Total tables: 20. Fail Note: We didn't earn enough this shift. Remember to seat the cellphone guys near customers that don't mind the noise, like families. You can see the business types gets soooo impatient when they have reserved a table, fortunately, the timing is quite straight for chaining. Z. LEVEL 6 Goal: 11500 pts. Expert goal: 15500 pts. Difficulty: 7/10. Decor unlocked: --Granite And Gold Tables. --Stone Tables. --Blue Marble Pillared Tables. Total tables: 17. Fail Note: Ack, we didn't earn enough this shift. Remember to watch the customers at your tables and grab the drinks when they are unhappy. Now, with nine types of customers have been introduced with all the fast and slow types are representated, then what? The electricity is off and your customers do not tolerate you a bit after seeing this situation. The expert goal is skyhigh, like it assumes you can see through the dark. So, that's what you should be, really. You can make careful planning if possible. AA. LEVEL 7 Goal: Earn more than Melanie/Brianne/Faye. Expert goal: Earn 7500 more points than Melanie/Brianne/Faye. Difficulty: 5/10. Total tables: 24. Fail Note: Wow, that didn't go as well as we'd hoped. Try to give flowers to customers who might be cranky after waiting in line. The introduction of our "beloved" customer, the business women, is really nice. They appear with celebrities that will make big the chance to get them star-strucked all the time. The expert goal for this level is pretty high. So, you have to start to think about the trick to make your points as high as possible with the presence of an opponent. That will NOT be the same with all your shifts all this time since Diner Dash 1, but that will not be really different either. Those tricks includes focus on your chaining inspite of the more possibilities of doing something else. AB. LEVEL 8 Goal: 10000 pts. Expert goal: 13000 pts. Difficulty: 6/10. Upgrades: --Standard Running Shoes or Super Running Shoes if you selected Standard Running Shoes earlier. --Deluxe Bench or Luxury Bench if you selected Deluxe Bench earlier. --Pro Chef or Pro Chef Silver if you selected Pro Chef earlier. Total tables: 20. Fail Note: Whew, it's tough keeping up with the crowd! Let's give it another shot. It seems like Playfirst(TM) wants to trap you with some wicked reservations at this shift. The first reservation is hungry man, than soon after the first, the snake...(you probably think that my humor isn't very funny)..ahem.. I mean, the reserving-table-food critic will come. So, sit the hungry man to the bench and let the food critic sit first. Otherwise, make sure you sit the food critic at the bench (she is still quite impatient depends on your bench upgrade). Fail to do this makes BIG the chance that you will get -1700 pts. AC. LEVEL 9 Goal: 15000 pts. Expert goal: 18500 pts. Difficulty: 6/10. Decor unlocked: --Jackal. --Sacrophagus. --Pharaoh. Total tables: 26. Fail Note: Oh so close! Let's give it another shot. This shift is not tough. But, ten types of customers mixing all the slow and fast types can give you troubles. AD. LEVEL 10 Goal: 15000 pts. Expert goal: 19500 pts. Difficulty: 7/10. Decor unlocked: --Blue Deco Dots. --Light Blue Tiles. --Curvy Purple Path. Total tables: 26. Fail Note: Great effort, but we didn't quite earn enough this shift. Let's get back out on that floor and try again. All the reservations are made by the business types, so you should watch the timer closer. Thank goodness the tables are not so many, this makes our task easier. The animation follows after clearing this shift and new clothings are also unlocked: a. Beach Hat. b. Pinafore (?). c. Beach Shorts. ^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^_^^ BEACH SHACK AT THE BOARDWALK ^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^_^^ Whaa....The music is like waking you up from the the museum's tranquility. The complex atmosphere is coming along with my thought that this game starts to get heavier. Here is the final addition to customers color and -1000 for each customers quit the restaurant mad. AE. LEVEL 1 Goal: 10000 pts. Expert goal: 15000 pts. Difficulty: 8/10. Total tables: 20. Fail Note: Good effort, but we didn't earn quite enough. Remember to serve up milkshakes to cheer up a table, especially if a table is getting annoyed by Cellphone Addicts! P.S. Playfirst(TM) must be too lazy to change the fail note from the previous game. There is no Cellphone addicts appear in this shift. Several groups of six celebrities will come more than you can handle if you try to chain to the maximum (Oh, no. That snail podium...). You may want to change that priority and separate them from the chain, but make sure to keep them happy to get the expert goal for this shift. The rollercoaster shakes more often than previous shake sources, so be ready to mop often. AF. LEVEL 2 Goal: 6500 pts. Expert goal: 8000 pts. Difficulty: 6/10. Decor unlocked: --Wizard Pattern Counter. --Funhouse Collection Counter. --Classic Wood Counter. Total tables: 16. Fail Note: Good effort, but we didn't earn quite enough. We'll need to use the podium a bunch of times in order to get through this shift. One more customer, the tourists come back without an introduction. Although there are a lot of types already, but they still come in a friendly pattern, at least for this shift. If you try to chain, I think losing one or two customers are fine. If you are watchful enough, there is a dash bar appears in this shift, grab it if you can, it can be quite useful, especially for the shakes. The dash bar will disappear if you don't grab it soon enough. AG. LEVEL 3 Goal: 12000 pts. Expert goal: 18500 pts. Difficulty: 7/10. New items to serve: --The Beachshack Cheesesteak! --Back In Time Burgers. --Fishin' For Fish And Chips. Total tables: 24. Fail Note: Almost, but not quite enough. Remember that if customers aren't happy enough, they won't order dessert. You shouldn't lose the celebrity masses if you want the expert score. Manage the timing of the hungryman who come first properly (what I mean is: serve the first "round" quickly and chain the second with the others) because celebrities will want to use the 6 top table quickly afterwards. Your snail podium can't keep up with them most of the time. AH. LEVEL 4 Goal: 9000 pts. Expert goal: 12500 pts. Difficulty: 6/10. Upgrades: --Standard Running Shoes. --Deluxe Podium. --Drink Master Ultra. Total tables: 18. Fail Note: We didn't earn enough this shift. But don't worry, we all hit a few bumps now and then. Let's get right back out there! Finally..... all customers' types have showed up. Now, you should recognize their behavior necessarily and slowly at a whole: Especially for 1) Cellphone addicts. Not to sit the group who dislikes noise near them. 2) Celebrity and food critic. They tip 5x and punish you 2x if they leave, they're kinda selfish, so take good care of them. If you rush through, you will be confused more easily. Otherwise, just practice by trying again and again. If you bored, then just give up or look for some cheating methods or go blame Playfirst(TM) ^__^ AI. LEVEL 5 Goal: 9500 pts. Expert goal: 13000 pts. Difficulty: 7/10. Decor unlocked: --Yellow Dasies. --Pretty Pansies. --Pink Tulips. Total tables: 17. Fail Note: Almost, but not quite enough. We'll have to remember the basics like doing the same action a few times in a row for a chain bonus. There are a bunch of large groups, but there are only two 6 top tables, so what did you choose for upgrade? The dash bar is not a great help IMO. AJ. LEVEL 6 Goal: Earn more than Shannon/Jade/Lauren. Expert goal: Earn 6000 more points than Shannon/Jade/Lauren. Difficulty: 5/10. Total tables: 34. Fail Note: Ack, we didn't earn enough this shift. Remember to watch the customers at your tables and grab the drinks when they are unhappy. All of your customers are noise-resistant, so do not worry about their placement. About the expert goal, I think the museum's competition is harder. AK. LEVEL 7 Goal: 18000 pts. Expert goal: 22000 pts. Difficulty: 7/10. Decor unlocked: --Wizard's Pattern Tables. --Classic Wood Tables. --Funhouse Stripes Set. The color is kinda hard to recognize, isn't it? If you think so, just avoid this one (especially for chasing the expert goal of the next shifts). Total tables: 24. Fail Note: Great effort, but we didn't earn quite enough this shift. Be careful not to ignore those snack requests. (deep breath) Okay! Long crowd with all the snack requests plus the complex situation can make you nervous the first time you play. The waiting celebrities can cause problems for us. So, you should select the things to do wisely due to the variety of things you can do just like you did some shifts ago. AL. LEVEL 8 Goal: 12500 pts. Expert goal: 16500 pts. Difficulty: 7/10. Upgrades: --Standard Running Shoes or Super Running Shoes if you selected Standard Running Shoes earlier. --Deluxe Podium or Luxury Podium if you selected Deluxe Podium earlier. --Drink Master Ultra or Drink Master Max Pro if you selected Drink Master Ultra earlier. Total tables: 18. Fail Note: Whew, this is a tough shift. Remember to serve those families quickly to keep the babies from crying. The expert goal is troublesome again. There are a few ways to reach this but you MUST have the luxury podium. Otherwise, you may want to do the planning complete with the color-matching plan plus chain everything to the maximum, including the dessert plus a little luck. AM. LEVEL 9 Goal: 21500 pts. Expert goal: 25000 pts. Difficulty: 7/10. Decor unlocked: --Ferris Wheel. --Merry-Go-Round. --Tidal Wave Ship. Total tables: 21. Fail Note: Almost, but not quite enough. It's not easy to match everyone to the right color seat! You shouldn't have any customer groups leave your restaurant mad for the expert score. Plus some dessert chaining to be safer. AN. LEVEL 10 Goal: 20000 pts. Expert goal: 30000 pts. Difficulty: 6/10. Decor unlocked: --Golden Gate Coaster. --Murphy's Mayhem Coaster. --Yellow Brick Coaster. Total tables: 40. Fail Note: Oh so close, but not quite enough. Grab that Dash Bar when it appears for an extra burst of speed. There are a lot of customers and our goals are quite low. Just do the necessary actions to attain them (remeber that you don't have any helps right now), especially if you already have the luxury podium. Watch the animations afterwards (the storyline is kinda **** I suppose). Below are disco equipments unlocked: a. Hot pants. b. Boots. ^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^- FLORENCE'S GROOVY DISCO ^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^- After the animation, here is the final restaurant of this game. The storyline in that animation does not sync well with the opening phrase, does it? Regardless of that, now you have to fix Flo's grandma's disco as well (Seems pretty factual, doesn't it? the news anywhere said that the disco is actually popular at around 1970s). .....I wonder even if Flo had restored the place, it would be as popular at these days too...... The expert goal is even harder than the Spaceship from the previous game, mainly for level 8 and 10. If console games are your daily meal, you will know some games have even nastier difficulty than this game, or they just hide secrets "unfairly". But, these expert goals are still possible IMO so it's up to you to get them or not. Getting all of them will unlock Flo's Inferno secret level. AO. LEVEL 1 Goal: 12000 pts. Expert goal: 16000 pts. Difficulty: 9/10. Total tables: 25. Fail Note: We've got to do better. Don't forget that we can carry four things at once now. What kind of speakers can cause such a big quake anyway? Every customer leaving now "only" costs you 1500 pts. After seeing some statistic above, maybe you think that, "Ah, it's just the same with the previous game!" But I say that this level is a little harder than the previous game. Although many things are similar, but the table placement is harder, and...what else? Ya, this time you have to be able to sit bookworms and teens next to each other WITHOUT drinks to get the @#^#*% expert goal! You will NOT make it if you do not know (or the most improtant: do) the old diner dash trick. And mop the spill under the bookworms table can help a tiny bit (this will depend on your luck though). Ooh, all your customers also have changed their costumes. Whose do you think is the best? AP. LEVEL 2 Goal: 16000 pts. Expert goal: 20000 pts. Difficulty: 7/10. Decor unlocked: --Glass Block Counter. --Glass And Brass Counter. --Disco Bubbles Counter. Total tables: 26. Fail Note: Those customers can get really impatient. Remember to visit the podium to keep people in line happy. Another shift we can't look down on.. AQ. LEVEL 3 Goal: 25000 pts. Expert goal: 30000 pts. Difficulty: 9/10. New items to serve: --Quintessential Quiche. --Crazy Crepes. --Florence's Primerib Special. Total tables: 28. Fail Note: Whoops, not quite enough this time. Serve up those snacks quick or customers will lose hearts. This shift is also quite similar with the previous game. So, do you remember what the key to pass this shift is? (+) You know that the snack request will be often. So, try to wait and chain the snack. (+) You have the flower. The bonus is fine, but the mood boost is not. (-) That will more or less sacrifice some of the celebrity's mood, but it shouldn't be a big deal. ( ) If you can manage the celebrity and cellphone addict well, especially the celebrity, the tips can be useful (although a lil' bit). (-) You now have more abundant of customer types. (-) The big minus is now your podium is slower. Sooo, will this be harder? AR. LEVEL 4 Goal: 20000 pts. Expert goal: 25000 pts. Difficulty: 7/10. Upgrades: --Standard Running Shoes. --Deluxe Bench. --Pro Chef. Total tables: 29. Fail Note: We didn't earn enough this shift. Let's give it another shot. You need some dessert chaining to attain the expert goal. Also remember that you can combine the middle and the right tables into 6 top tables. Although it sounds like a small thing, you may notice that you can't see if you have 4xclicked the snacks or the desserts (there are only 3 check marks if you do this). Can be annoying when things go complicated. And you probably have known that you can't take snacks and desserts when there is no request. The game developer probably want to tell you not to throw away valuable things, but this also will slow you down, especially for chaining. AS. LEVEL 5 Goal: 15000 pts. Expert goal: 18000 pts. Difficulty: 8/10. Decor unlocked: --Red And Orange Theme. --Purple And Blue Theme. --Green Theme. Total tables: 17. Fail Note: It's getting tough to keep up with the crowds. Make sure to do all the little things to keep everybody happy, like serving them drinks. Waaaa... I think even the goal is still pretty hard to reach. Now, you must chain all the things well enough as well as the dessert. Color matching is also very important, especially for one of the 6 top tables because you can obtain quite high points for your hard work. BTW, the floor looks cool, no? Adding several of them into the gallery will make things more attractive. AT. LEVEL 6 Goal: 34000 pts. Expert goal: 39000 pts. Difficulty: 8/10. Decor unlocked: --Glass Block Tables. --Blown Glass Bubble Top Table. --Glass And Brass Tables. Total tables: 31. Fail Note: Phew! Keeping track of the customers color is tricky work, but I know we can do it. O.K. this level is also similar to the previous game. So, will it be a "breeze"? (Oops, I gave it 8/10, so it shouldn't be) Mwahahahaha. Remember now that you don't have any helps from your staff members. So, what should we do? We face some kind of dilemma here, you can choose 2 ways to do it with their own consequences. (Gosh....do Playfirst(TM) really do this coincidentally or on purpose? All the shortcuts are blocked) 1. Chain really long with the risk of losing your customers' heart who are in contact with cell addicts. Dessert chain and/or cheque chain will be shorten. 2. Separate the cell addicts from the chain and use your snail podium (and your patience too.. wahahaha) for the waiting customers, sit the celebrities at the bench. The risk is you lost the length of your chain, but you can do dessert chain perfectly to all sitting customers. I predict perfectly doing either option still depends on your luck to get the expert goal (snack). For a bad luck, you have to use the flower bonus to mend your defisit to the goal. AU. LEVEL 7 Goal: 20000 pts. Expert goal: 25000 pts. Difficulty: 6/10. --Standard Running Shoes or Super Running Shoes if you selected Standard Running Shoes earlier. --Deluxe Bench or Luxury Bench if you selected Deluxe Bench earlier. --Pro Chef or Pro Chef Silver if you selected Pro Chef earlier. Total tables: 39. Fail Note: We didn't earn enough this shift. Let's give it another shot. Now, dessert chain is more not recommended because it's inconvenient to do with so many types. If you can chain long enough, losing a few customers will be fine, even for expert goal! AV. LEVEL 8 Goal: Earn more than Tina/Donna/Jackie. Expert goal: Earn 9000 more than Tina/Donna/Jackie. Difficulty: 7/10. Total tables: 31. Fail Note: Wow, that was tough. Let's try that again. I know we can do better. Don't be happy yet because your opponent also has another staff members' help. Who is she? The goal is easy, but the expert goal is.... I once thought that it was impossible. If you know the trick to pass the museum competition's expert goal, now you must learn some "dirty trick" to pass the expert goal of this competition. Why do I call it "dirty"? It's because you have to use all of Diner Dash(R) rules to your advantage. Somewhat dirty, no? After being dirty after learning all the "dirty tricks", is that enough to reach the expert goal? Probably not, you also have to know your opponent better. Which some of the knowledge are inside the "dirty trick" above... If you pay some attention to your opponent, you will know that although the AI(?) does not increase very much, but now their speed is now about the same with Flo and they probably wear some running shoes too! Besides, you must know that they are FAST at doing careful works (0__0 I hope this is the correct name), i.e. How fast can you compute compared to the computer? (Probably I don't know much about other people's ability, but I think computer should be superior than human for such things -especially if "bosses" said that your computer is slow-). So, knowing this fact, can you conclude what their strong point is? Also, because the computer does not have any cursor, you cannot see their movements. And because of that, they can sit many groups in less than 1 second! What a cheater.. Now, let's see their weaknesses. I don't know this for sure: I think they are programmed (human: trying) to detect your actions too (in other words: They programmed to do "dirty work" too, such as disturbing your chaining, select the best-rewarded-action etc). That's why SOMETIMES, they will not take any actions before you do something. Sometimes this process is long enough, when it's at the long side, it's time for you to get more points. So, learn the "dirty trick" and know your opponents better, with some luck and patience to keep trying. What's the key to have the patience then? Well, I only can remind you again my General Tips number four above. Try to enjoy the disco beat along while figuring out the order of your customers. If you think that the atmosphere is not enjoyable enough, then......forget the expert goal and move on. AW. LEVEL 9 Goal: 20000 pts. Expert goal: 25000 pts. Difficulty: 5/10. Decor unlocked: --Dots Spotlight. --Spiral Spotlight. --Star Spotlight. Total tables: 41. Fail Note: Without the color bonus, we really have to pay attention to chaining and keeping everybody happy to make sure we earn enough. This idea comes from Diner Dash 1. Without the color bonuses, chaining will be critical for us to pass this shift. And also, be careful because in this disco, the noise from the bar will reach the table on the right and vice versa. AX. LEVEL 10 Goal: 30000 pts. Expert goal: 40000 pts. Difficulty: 10/10. Decor unlocked: --SoundMaster. --DiscoAmp. --AudioPro. Total tables: 32. Fail Note: Oh, we're so close to finishing this last shift! I have no doubt that we can do it. We just have to hang in there and try again. First time you play this, you may wonder: "How come I am so far from these goals?" This may make you give up so easily even if you don't face any difficulties so far for reaching the goals. So, how to get this done? If you have completed Diner Dash: Flo On The Go and still remember the last shift clearly enough, this shift is really similar, but you were forced to match all the color perfectly. So, you have to do the same in this shift. But now, you will have more challenge because of your snail podium and the absence of help. -------------------------------------- | ------- | | | | | | 1| | | | | | ------- ------- | | 2| B | | | | 2 | | | | | | 1 | ------- | | 3| | | | | | | | ------- ------- | | 4| | | | | | | A | | 3 | | | 5| | ------- | | | | ------- | | 6| | | | | | | | | 4 | ------- | | 7| R | | | | 5 | | | | | ------- ------- | | 8| | | | | | | | ------- | -------------------------------------- ====================================================== | Customer type | Chaining order | Table number | ====================================================== | 2 Young Ladies | 1 | 5 | | Lovebirds | 1 | 2 | | 3 Bookworms | 1 | 1 | | 4 Hungry Men | 1+2 | 3 | | 6 Cell Addicts | 2 | 4 | | 4 Joggers | 2 | BAR 5,6,7,8 | | 4 Business Women | 2 | BAR 1,2,3,4 | | 4 Young Ladies | 3 | BAR 3,4,5,6 | | 6 Male Teens | 5 | 4 | | 3 Bookworms | 6 | BAR 5,6,7 | | 3 Business Women | 3 | 3 | | 4 Female Teens | 5/6 | 3 | | 3 Celebrities | 3 | 4 | | 2 Tourists | 3 | 2 | | 1 Hungry Man | 3+4 | 5 | | 4 Bookworms | 3 | 1 | | 2 Business Women | 4 | BAR 7,8 | | 3 Young Ladies | 4 | BAR 2,3,4 | | Lovebirds | 4/5 | 2 | | 2 Joggers | 4/5 | 2 | | 6 Business Women | 4 | 4 | | 4 Tourists | 4 | 3 | | 3 Tourists | 4 | 1 | | Lovebirds | 5 | 5 | | 6 Cell Addicts | 5 | 1 | | 2 Male Teens | 6 | 5 | | 3 Business Women | 5/7 | BAR 1,2,3 | | 3 Female Teens | 6 | 4 | | 6 Cell Addicts | 6 | 1 | | 4 Young Ladies | 5 | 1/3 | | 1 Young Lady | 5/6 |BAR 4/5/BAR 8 | | 4 Joggers | 6 | BAR 1,2,3,4 | ====================================================== NOTE: Apply bench and/or drink if necessary. Example: If you get all the expert goals from level 1-10, you will get a secret level. This is supposedly play for fun, I think.. but these levels are not as innovative nor as fun as the previous game. AY. SUNDAY BRUNCH Goal: 12000 pts. Expert goal: 15000 pts. Difficulty: 7/10. Total tables: 15. Quite difficult, but not so innovative. AZ. ALL STAR GAME Goal: 10000 pts. Expert goal: 13750 pts. Difficulty: 5/10. Total tables: 23. The ballpark is not crowded at all and they say that this is an all star game?! BA. TOURIST INVASION Goal: 12000 pts. Expert goal: 14250 pts. Difficulty: 7/10. Total tables: 20. The museum is successful again, but all the exhibitions are missing! How come?! BB. BIRTHDAY BASH Goal: 20000 pts. Expert goal: 25000 pts. Difficulty: 7/10. Total tables: 30. Whose birthday is it? BTW, The camping groups strike again! Or not. The young lady and the father bring along many kids with them (Whose kids are them?). These groups dislikes noise although father and son can tolerate it, this behavior have the potential to puzzle anyone. BC. FLO'S INFERNO Goal: 25000 pts. Expert goal: 30000 pts. Difficulty: 10/10. Total tables: 35. This is technically still possible, but you have to be very fast (i.e. know what to do without wasting seconds) at this complexity level. I had seen some anomaly on human's behavior, I don't know who made them like that, but for me, this one should be really hard (depends on the resources). Go ahead if you want the expert goal, I really don't recommend it. ^-^^-^^-^^-^^_^^-^^-^^-^^-^^_ MY DINER AND MORE RESTAURANTS ^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^-^^_^^_ If you just got the "online version" of Diner Dash: Hometown Hero(TM), you can customize your waiter/waitress and also your own diner either to play endless shift or host multiplayer games. You can also visit the wharf to visit your own diner, the waterpark and sites that are ready to build. The waterpark is (suspectedly) Waterpark Madness Restaurent from Diner Dash: Seasonal Snack Pack(TM) first restaurant. Diner Dash: Once Upon A Diner(TM) is not released yet at the moment. But you can play them here per restaurant separately. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ E. ENDLESS SHIFT +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Endless shift offers you endless stream of customers in your already-decorated restaurant. Easier level have more patient customers, lower goal target, less customer type, less customer color and more lives. Just for extra notes, the endless shift in this game is harder than the previouses you know, especially for hard levels. It should be impossible for anybody to get very far. Q: I can't online or I got some [Bootstrap Error] message when I was trying to connect or I have purchased the additional restaurant(s), but I can't play them. A: Below is just copy-pasted from Playfirst website: Diner Dash: Hometown HeroGourmet Edition requires a connection to verify you are running the latest version with the most current features, as well as a check to see if you have purchased any items. If you are have connection issues we have listed the following fixes: -Turn off any pop-up blocker. -Confirm that you are connected to the internet. -Examine your computer for "spyware" using any spyware search and removal tool. Many spyware programs cause compatibility errors with our software and could be the reason you are unable to connect to our servers. -If you are using a firewall, make sure that it is configured to recognize the game software as safe. -Check the security settings of your browsersometimes browser security can stop the game from contacting our servers. Try reducing the security settings of your browser if they are set high. -Check the date on your computer and make sure it is correct. -If you are using an old version of a browser, try upgrading it to the latest version. Occasionally, the PlayFirst authentication server may experience a short period of downtime. Wait a few hours and try unlocking the game again. And now for the miscellanous. 1. My monitor screen flickered when the game was converted to Full Screen, and it flickered even more if the screen mode were changed many times. My computer gets old or it's a bug or...? 2. Once I played Diner Dash: Hometown Hero, I received 1/2x leaving-customer penalty. I think that I was just doing it normally, but the other times, I didn't get the bonus. 3. So, my assumption was wrong then ^___^ There is no Beach Island Resort here. 4.
