CM/WW Wizard Guide.

I. Introduction.

Overview of the CM wizard.

It is better known as a tank build and one of the most popular builds in Diablo 3. I personally like to call it the uber boss slayer.


A lot of cc, ias, cd, and resists.

First we are going to start off the the cons of this build.

Cons: Very expensive gear.

Needs to be in close to do damage to monsters.

Pros: Does well against a lot of monsters

Great boss slayer.

II. Skills

What skills does a CM wizard use?

Energy Twister with Wicked Wind, Diamond Skin crystal shell and Explosive Blast with Chain reaction and teleport with wormhole.

III.Gear.

For the CM wizard the best gear is very expensive.

I will be listing the best in slot for the CM Wizard.

Helm Mempo of Twlight with intelligence and CC.

Weapon Chantodo's Will with a socket/ias

Bracers:Lacuni's prowlers with and resists cc.

Gloves Tasker and theo with 9.5% cc 

Shoulders Vile Ward with high intelligence and armor.

Chest armor Tal Rasha's Relentless pursuit high vitality.

Belt the Witching Hour

Boots nats with intelligence.

Ring one. Nat's with crit damage.

Ring two. Unity or a rare with ias and cc.


Pants Blackthorne's Duncraig's Cross Jousting mail.
