The automatic handgu is obtained by acquiring a full archive and beating the game on any difficulty setting.

Complete the game on any difficulty setting to unlock New Game+ mode for the same difficulty the game was completed on. In New Game+ mode you will retain your previously obtained weapons, items, and upgrades. The enemies in New Game+ mode will be tougher to defeat.

This difficulty setting where Sebastian dies in one hit becomes avaialable when you complete the game.

Machine Gun:
Complete the game to unlock the machine gun for use in New Game+ mode.

Rocket Launcher:
Complete the game to unlock the rocket launcher for use in New Game+ mode.

Automatic Handgun:
Complete the game with a full archive to unlock the automatic handgun for use in New Game+ mode.

Brass Knuckles:
Complete the game on the Nightmare difficulty to unlock the brass knuckles for use in New Game+ mode.

Burst Handgun:
Complete the game on the Nightmare difficulty to unlock the burst handgun for use in New Game+ mode.

High-Powered Sniper Rifle:
Collect ALL map fragments to unlock the high-powered sniper rifle for use in New Game+ mode.

Before launching 'The Evil Within' from Steam right-click on the game's title and go to 'Properties'. If you then select 'Set Launch Options' and add '+com_allowconsole 1' command line parameter to the end of the 'Target' field in the 'Shortcut' properties you will be able to press 'Insert' on your keyboard to access the console window. Type the followng commands (without the quotes) to enable the corresponding effect.
