Question for The Sims 3 Pets

Is there a way to get rid of a certain kind of animal in the game? Whenever there's a horse around my game freezes and spazzes out, and I have to shut my computer down. I really don't want to have to save my game every 5 minutes because a horse might walk by when my Sim is on her way to work or something. Ever since I put the gnome out and set it to "discourage all wildlife", and lowered the lifespan of horses, it's become less frequent, but it still happens. So, I'd like help with this if possible.

Here's how to get rid of any Sim,Animal,or Object:
1.hold down "ctrl+shift+c" all at the same time
2. A blue box should apear at the top of your screen
3.type in "testingcheatsenabled true" then press enter
4.then go to that animal or sim or whatever and hold down shift while you click that thing
5.then a opption should pop up that says "object" click on it
6.then another option should pop up that say delete click on that

and there you go!! Smile

Or there is an easier way that does not require cheats or killing every horse you see. This way gets rid of ALL horses in the WHOLE town.

Click on the options menu (the row of dots in the bottom left corner).
Click Options...
Click on the Advanced Demographics Options tab (the tab on the far right that looks like the shadow of two people).
Uncheck the box next to horses to get rid of ALL of the horses in the WHOLE town. You can also do it with other pets and other life forms.
Click Apply Changes (the check mark in the bottom right corner).

So if you do this, does it disable horses from just that save file or from all save files?

Just that one. It didn't affect my other saves Smile

I tried un-checking it, but the horses still appear all over the town, even know this town isn't supposed to have horses.
