Are you sure you've tried to call him every second possible? If I were you I would try to locate him on the map if he's your friend. Maybe you should invite him to a party and fire him when you get the chance. XD Hope this helps ;))

I called for services to hire a butler. They said make said butler a bedroom and someone will be over. So I made him a room, it's been 4 sim days and no one still has shown up. I see "butlers" every where over town. Do I have to pick one or something? I don't know what to do!

Usually I noticed my butler would leave and go hang out at beaches you can look there onur map and scroll across all the people there until you find him or her. Then go there and you can fire them then call for services to hire a new one. Also if you have a gate and it's locked you're butler wont come.

Well you can locate your butler on your map or invite him over and fire him then hire a new one :-))

I had this problem and I just figured how to fix it, like 3 seconds ago. So you need to do the Testingcheatsenabled True and hold shift then click the mailbox and click force NPC and click butler or whoever is missing. That will send out a new one.

You need to have a good relationship with your butler or else they will leave. In the event that they do, simply use the code resetsim "Insertsim'sfirstnamehere andthenButler'slastnamehere" like for Grant Hess, you would put resetsim Grant Hess Then you can just rehire the butler!

Use the testingcheatsenabled true cheat then make you and your butlers relationship really low and he will quit (this has happened to me many times and it always works)
