When you are in the police career, you will reach a point where you must make reports. The status of your reports can be seen in the career tab while in the game. Preferably the smiley face should not go below normal. To make a report, you have to question other sims in the game. This comes up in the friendly tab when you click on another sim. It says 'question'. Many times, if you go choose 'question' immediately on speaking, the other sim will come up with a bored mood. They may even walk away!

To get around this, you need to talk to the sim for a little while to allow them to get to know you, before clicking on question. Once they know you a little, they are more likely to respond, at which point your sim will being writing notes. Once you have collected this information, you go back to your computer, click on 'writing' and then choose the 'report' option. Once you have completed the report on your computer, it raises the report emote in the career tab.

If you find it difficult to get a sim to respond to your 'question' technique, try clicking on a dustbin outside a house which may give your the opportunity to rummage. The sim does this very sneakily, so I suspect the middle of the night would be a good time to choose this option. If you find anything, a message will appear, so you can then go back home and use the method described above to report it on your computer.

You have to have a high level in the police career thingy and then you click the criminal warehouse and there should be an icon saying rade the warehouse or something, click it. You should bust them.
