Not sure exactly but if you go into the town that you want to put them in and click on the big button in the bottom left corner, it has decorations and stuff, if you can it would be in there.

there is no roads in mt version of sims 2

I actually went looking because I forgot the cheat code so it would let me add or remove roads in sims2. So far, it seems to have been purged from the internet as much as possible, and since I don't remember what it is and the youtuber who had a tutorial USING IT, and even on how to do so, a few years ago, is now not displaying the video anymore... The only evidence I still have is my maps of self edited roads using only sims 2, not any other program.
So... Please stop supporting ea's wish that you buy a whole other game to play sims2 the way you want. The code exists, unless they nerfed it to kill aspects of the game, but it's essentially a lost code at this point, unless you already know what it is personally.
