Enable debug mode

This time EA made Debug mode harder to turn on, compared to the first game...

First go to the directory where you installed the game, open up the folder named
System,
And open the game.ini file. If you are using Windows XP the file is located in
The
Harry Potter II folder in My Documents. Scroll down right to the end.
Under [HGame.baseConsole] change

BDebugMode=False

Into

BDebugMode=True

Press these buttons during game to activate the cheats

~: toggle console

PageUp: increase game speed

PageDown: decrease game speed

Del: noclip mode

F4: select map/level (note: when using this level select, your game will be
Stuck.
Press F4 again to remedy that.)

F6: full health

F9: all spells


You\'ll probably notice a level called PrivetDr.unr in the level select. That\'s
Diagon Alley.

Andreas is right with her post, but the text editor was the focus of your question I think. Google "crimson editor" and download it. Once you have it installed, open Crimson and then open the DefUser file with it. Scroll down and find the DebugMode line, and change it from "false" to "true." Again, andreas has posted better directions. Lol
