How do you turn the automation off on the family barn game?

You just click on the automation button and click on the machines/buildings/animals that are active to turn them off. Do the same thing to turn them back on.

In the bottom left corner of your game screen there is what looks like a gears symbol. Click on this and you will notice you now have either an "X" in a red circle or a check mark in a green circle on all of the items on your farm that can use automation. The check mark means that automation is turned on so you would want to click on that green circle with the check mark which will then become a red "X" circle showing you that automation is no longer on.

Look at the bottom left corner and you will see a gear shape, just click it and you will see either green circles with ticks or red circles with an X.
X means the automation is off
Ticks means that it's on

On some computers the gear is close to the right upper corner on your screen next to a number.

When you holding your phone, screen towards you, on your right side of it there is a icon button. It looks like a gear, when you click on it multiple things will pop up - 5 things - the one you want is notifications. When you press that you want to go to the functional section, it's the top one can't miss it. To turn off auto collection for the dutch mill you have to switch the 'Production House Auto Switch' to off.
