Complete the following tasks to unlock the corresponding effect.
Unlock Oni Hard Mode:
On Issen mode beat the game.
Unlock Adventures of Heihachi Mode:
Beat the game once.
Unlock Genma Puzzle Mini-Game:
Solve ALL puzzles in the game.
Unlock Oni Shooting Mini-Game:
On Normal mode beat the game.
Unlock Ultimate Mode:
Clear the Oni shooting mini-game.
Unlock Secret Training Mode:
Beat the game clearing Training mode in Normal difficulty setting.
Awards
Unlock Defense Award:
Get damage lesser than 5120.
Unlock Explorer Award:
Find ALL 23 Tengu chests.
Unlock Offense Award:
Kill more than 3000 enemies.
Unlock Bravery Award:
Beat the game without saving.
Unlock Speed Award:
Have a completion time of less than 5:00:00.
Unlock Critical Award:
Defeat more than 40% enemies by using critical.

Unlock Michelle's Alternate Costume:
Complete the game on Normal difficulty setting.
Unlock Michelle's 2nd Alternate Costume:
Complete the game with an 'Onimusha' rank.
Unlock Jacuqe's Alternate Costume:
Complete the game on Normal difficulty setting.
Unlock Panda Costume:
Complete secret training mode.
Unlock Alternate Ending Sequence:
Increase ALL 7 Haori of Ako to the maximum to view the alternate ending sequence. All the Kodama have to be found.
Unlock Easy Difficulty Mode:
Intentionally lose the game 2 times on Normal difficulty setting.
Unlock Hard Difficulty Mode:
Complete the game on Normal difficulty setting.
Unlock Oni Hard Mode:
Successfully complete the game in Issen mode to unlock Oni Hard mode.
Unlock Ultimate Mode:
Complete the Oni shooting mini-game to unlock Ultimate mode setting. The game will start with Sam having the Bishamon Sword, Jacque having his best Oni Musou, 10 Talismans, infinite arrows, bullets, infinite Oni power and 30 Medicines.
Unlock Critical (Issen) Mode:
Complete the game on Hard difficulty setting to unlock. Only critical hits can kill opponents.

The enemy up the house doesn't drop the gate key. You have to go back until the beggining of the misson (when Jacques arrives in Japan with his dead captain. In the way you'll find some plants to cut. Cut it and the big fat genma that holds a hammer will fall. Kill it and behind him you'll find a chest. Open it and there's the gate key. |

All of the seals are in the darkrealms, I obtained all 3 on my first playthourhg I am currently working on beating the game, but I'm stuck in the church place, need to find a gear, but as I was saying, can't remember where to get wind seal as you obtain it early in the game, but the fire seal is obtained in mont... Cant spell the name but it's a church, found in dark realm of jauqs, and it's the last room, go through all of them |

If you got that seal from the dark realm, you finish the game. In your next game (new game), samanosuke will have a thunder sword called raizan. |
