Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 PC Cheats and Tips

To use these cheats you need to apply them as command line paremeters.

Just run the game in this way (edit game's shortcut):

C:Program Files\Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2NfsHS.exe +[parameter]

Notice, that the "+" sign is necessary!

Ghost - Your car is transparent for other cars (real pain for cops.

Opentree - Allowes you to enter locked evens in event trees! (and no trainers

needed: )

Nofrustration - Disables annoying confirmations.

Nomovie - Disables movie demos.

Nomusic - Turns music off.

Nosnd - Turns off sound FX.

Noreverb - Turns off reverbration.

Nofrontend - Menu is turned off - like a demo mode.

Nomipmap - Disables mipmapping.

Noparticles - Probably turns off particle animations.

Minfront - Turns on VERY stupid main menu.

HelicoptersOnly - Cops seems to use only the helicopter backup against you.

Screenshots - Probably allows to take screens (seems not to be working).

Open NFSHP2trackstrack.ini.

To access all tracks in beginner mode change

TrackDescrip=kTxtintermediate/advanced to trackDescrip=kTxtBeginner.

Changing following strings wil give you all tracks for $10

Eg: m_price[0]=10

m_price[2]=10

m_price[3]=10

To purchase cars at a cheap price ($10 each), open up the cars.ini file in

Your CARS folder (from the main NFSHP2 game folder) using Notepad.

Change the following lines:

Then in to the "Cars" folder

To get all cars & tracks at the lowest prices do the following.

Note: This procedure envolves editing some files so make a backup copy what you edit.

(Do not edit any other lines except I mentioned) First open the main directory of NFS Hot Pursuit 2 in the main directory open cars folder in it open cars.ini with notepad and edit the lines and make them

Price=10

Nfsprice=10 for every car after doing this save the file and close it. Now open tracks.ini from the tracks folder and edit the lines and make them

M_price[0]=10

M_price[1]=10

M_price[2]=10

M_price[3]=10

After editing save the file and close it.

If done properly you will get all tracks & cars at the lowest prices.

Note: You will have to play Nfs a few times before you apply this cheat.

Earn 2,000,000 Points

Lamborghini Diablo 6.0 VT:

Earn 2,500,000 Points

Lamborghini Murcielago:

Earn 3,000,000 Points

Porsche Carrera GT:

Earn 3,500,000 Points

McLaren F1:

Earn 4,000,000 Points

Mercedes CLK GTR:

Earn 4,500,000 Points

McLaren F1 LM:

Earn 5,000,000 Points OR Win the World Championships

Porsche 911 Turbo:

Earn 800,000 Points

Complete Hot Pursuit Event 5

Lead any race until completion (Any mode)
