Breething under Water

If you place a torch under water right next to you it will let you get a quick breath of air allowing you to continue to explore under water.*Note* You have to place the torch on a 2 block high surface other wise it wont let you breath.You can also do this trick with fences,ladders,sugarcane,fence gates,glass panes and metal bars (can't remmber what they're called)
