The best way to play the game is too keep exploring the map!
If you have a breech then you should put a hidden door there so that the enemy wont know that you are there.
Try to get some fireflies or rogues into your dungeon because they are good scouts and they always go off on their own!

Hey I found this bonus stage about two weeks ago and I decided to add it to super cheats hints, so heres how it goes. There are several bonus stages in Dungeon Keeper, but you don't even have to do much to find this one! To find it, all you need to do is to set your PC's date to any day with a full moon then start the game. The bonus stage will appear as a flag with a circle in it.

If you have the opportunity, don't build a temple. They take up too much room (5x5) and can only attract 2 Dark Angels.
If you are running low on mana, build a temple around the edges and put something useful in the 3x3 inside. Monks and Mistresses will give the most mana when they pray.
