Battlefield 2 Cheats and Tips

You will survive longer in the game if you get yourself to the nearest rooftop of a tall building.

Find a ladder and climb all the way to the top.

Then go prone and start sniping from the edge of roof.

Be sure however to withdraw from edge and move to another

Location after firing a few shots.

Fire from another position on the roof.

The AI controlled enemy cannot climb up the ladders

To come after you.

I guess they're not smart or brave enough to do so.

However they can still look up and shoot at you so be

Also if they try to throw a grenade at you it will not reach you on the roof.

Edit the following files in the 'CrysisGameLocalizedVideo' directory as indicated if you want the game to start without the introduction videos:

The following procedure involves editing a game file so it is advised that you create a back-up before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the 'unlocks.py' file in the 'ea gamesbattlefield 2pythonbf2stats' folder. Change line 44 from 'defaultUnlocks = [0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0]' to 'defaultUnlocks = [1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1]'. Note: this only works in v1.0.0 of the game and attempting it in Multiplayer mode will get your account banned.

Fly in an airplane at an altitude of 350 meters, jump out and parachute ALL the way down and you will get the Airborne ribbon.

When you get the indicated number of Global points you will be promoted to the corresponding rank.

be a spec ops and take your C4 and place them on the hood of a humvee, buggy, or any other vehicle and go to your detonator. drive up to the tank and stop to get out. the tank will stop and turn. use this time to run away and detonate the C4.

If you jump on an enemy tank and kill the gunner, go prone and you cannot be hit. another good trick is to jump on the tank and draw the attention of an enemy anti-tank(hehe)

Changing 0's to 1's in unlocks.py file only works on version 1.0
