Use Hang-time to Continue Warping

When you shoot your Harpoon to an object that is floating in mid-air Faraday will hang in the air for a second or two before he starts falling. It is during those couple of seconds before he starts falling that you can throw the Harpoon again to latch onto something else and continue warping.

Providing there is something within your line of sight, you can keep warping without hitting the ground. Faraday doesn't fall particularly fast so even if you miss your target with the Harpoon you should if you recall the Harpoon quickly enough be able to shoot it off again to try again before hitting the ground.

Use Floating Eyes to Find Warp Points

Keep an eye out as you traverse Terraphage for the small shadowy floating eyeball creatures that are scattered about as they can be used as a guide for finding warp points for Faraday's Harpoon. Whenever you see a cluster of these eyeball creatures hanging off of the ceiling it generally signifies the presence of a warp point directly above them in which case you should throw Faraday's Harpoon into them to see where it leads.

Access Secret Nooks

Faraday's Harpoon allows you to briefly transcend time and space and warp yourself to wherever you throw it. The only stipulation in order to warp to the Harpoon is that it needs to be physically stuck in something, whether it be a crate, an enemy, or one of those floating eyeballs. Most of Terraphage is composed of an enclosed area but whenever you see a hole in the wall you should take the time to throw your Harpoon into it as there is always the possibility that it will latch onto something you couldn't see which will enable you to access secret nooks.

How to Rescue Castaways

After a storm capsizes Faraday's ship and washes his men ashore on the continent of Terraphage they are captured by the Rottenwood Tribe who imprison them in hanging cages around the country. As you traverse the various islands you will encounter Faraday's men in these suspended cages which if you can break will release them back to the safety of Oaktide.

In order to release the trapped castaways you must get right up next to the hanging cage and cut the rope above it with Faraday's sword. Whenever you see a castaway suspending from their cage there is always a path nearby that will lead you to them. When looking for the path search nearby rooms and keep an eye out for breakable boards or outcroppings of eyeballs. The path will lead you upward above where you saw the hanging cage and once you reach it you will be able to cut the rope with your sword to drop the cage. All you then need to do is approach the castaway and interact with them, and they will be sent safely back to Oaktide.
