I'm still trying to confirm the information regarding the unlockable CG art, so please be patient. 06/10/09 - Updated my FAQ. Changed the 'Fly swat' to 'Mosquito swat'. I should have known that, too. Also updated the Copyrights, because this FAQ can now be seen on Neoseeker. I also put more information on the last day. 05/31/09 - Started the FAQ. I added in Partner FAQ, Game controls, and Getting Started, Walkthrough, Minigames, Password list, FAQ, and copyright and credits section. ************************************************* Introduction [Intrdn] ************************************************* * Game intro -- [GamInt] * Tennis no Ouji-sama: Doubles no Ouji-sama - Girls, be gracious is yet another game Konami made for the Nintendo DS. The story is based on a female student named Kagami Azuma(default name)* as she struggles to play doubles in tennis with an in-game partner. * Author Intro -- [AutInt] * Hello there. Since nobody seems to post a FAQ here, I thought I'd do it myself. Though I don't speak much japanese, so forgive me if I said something wrong. If you see something wrong, please e-mail it to me at - [email protected] -, together with the correction. That would be a big help. Aside from that, I haven't really beaten the game completely, but my progress should be enough to help out those who just started to play the game. * Name check. I'm not good with kanji. Sorry. ************************************************* Game Controls [GamCon] ************************************************* A button - approving selections B button - cancelling X button - unused Y button - hides dialog box L button - speeds up text/show normal returns R button - show special returns D+ pad - select options Touchpad - select options * Doubles game How-to -- [DoubHT] * Most of the time, the player and her partner will come up with tennis matches with another doubles pair. When that happens, two options will come up before you start the match. The left option will let you start, and the right option will take you to the system. When in play, two other options will appear in the lower screen before the service. The left option will let you use items that you've bought on the sports shop, which can heal your HP, SP, or add to your exp, depending on the item. Just touch the item twice to use it, and take note that HP an SP restoring items can only work on Azuma, not your partner. When choosing the right option, the game will start, having the score on 4-5, usually. The scores will depend on the opponent chosen. The person to serve is chosen randomly, as far as I know. When receiving the serve or keeping the rally, you can either choose the normal caption on the normal returns page, or press the R button to return the ball with a special shot. Note that you or your partner can only use the shot if the exp gauge meets the requirements for the shot level. Most special shots are level 1, so you need 1 bar of exp in order to use it. Same goes for level 2 and 3 shots. You can notice that once the ball is returned, another caption will appear before the normal circualr one. Using the shouting caption will most likely make you miss the ball or make your racket fly off, but if it is a successful return, it will increase the chances of having the same effect to the opponent. This also works for the colored captions indicating Power, Agi, Tech, and Int. The colored captions have a chance to fail when returning, but it is successful if used in serving. Using the colored captions can increase the chances of the opponent's racket falling off, or missing the ball. Also, note that you can only use captions that are lit up, so the other caption that aren't can't be selected, no matter how many times you click it. Also remember that once a player completely depletes his HP and SP, he won't be able to use his special shots. * System Menu -- [SystMe] * The system Menu appears right before you start a match, or before you sleep for the night. The system menu has five options: Save, Load, Data, Options, and Gameend. Save - Lets you save on 8 different files Load - Loads a file from it's last save point Data - Shows character data(character's playing stats), Friend data(density of possible partners), and the item data(shows obtained item details) Options - Lets you change the main game options Gameend - Takes you back to the title screen * Density explanation -- [DnstyE] * As I mentioned, the Data option in the system menu allows you to view the current partner density. In the chart shown, a player's face will appear with a number of arrows below. The number of arrows determine how high that person's density is. A person's density tells how much that person is close to you, so the higher the density, the higher the chances of getting that person's best end. ************************************************* Partner FAQ [Prtnr0] ************************************************* When you start the game, you will be given the option to use the default name, Kagami Azuma, or change it to your liking, and for your nickname, as well. You will also be asked for your zodiac sign and blood type. Take note that this will determine who your starting partner would be, so if you wanted a specific person to be your partner, choose the right zodiac and blood type. The zodiac signs are as follows: Aries Taurus Gemini Cancer Leo Virgo Libra Scorpio Saggitarius Capricorn Aquarius Pisces The next table will show what you need to pick to get your partner of choice. __________________________________________________________________________ |___________|_______A_______|______B_______|_______O_______|_______AB______| |___Aries___|_____Niou______|_____Inui_____|_____Kaido_____|____Sengoku____| |__Taurus___|_____Inui______|_____Kaido____|____Sengoku____|____Mizuki_____| |__Gemini___|_____Kaidoh____|____Sengoku___|____Mizuki_____|_____Eiji______| |__Cancer___|____Sengoku____|____Mizuki____|_____Eiji______|_____Atobe_____| |____Leo____|____Mizuki_____|_____Eiji_____|_____Atobe_____|_____Tezuka____| |___Virgo___|_____Eiji______|_____Atobe____|_____Tezuka____|___Shiraishi___| |___Libra___|_____Atobe_____|____Tezuka____|___Shiraishi___|_____Kamio_____| |__Scorpio__|____Tezuka_____|___Shiraishi__|_____Kamio_____|_____Ryoma_____| |Saggitarius|___Shiraishi___|_____Kamio____|_____Ryoma_____|___Shiraishi___| |_Capricorn_|_____Kamio_____|_____Ryoma____|___Shiraishi___|_____Niou______| |_Aquarius__|_____Ryoma_____|___Shiraishi__|_____Niou______|_____Inui______| |__Pisces___|___Shiraishi___|_____Niou_____|_____Inui______|_____Kaido_____| - The table works like the multiplication table, in case you didn't know. - ************************************************* Walkthrough [WlkThr] ************************************************* First things first, you'll be asked to input your name, nickname, zodiac sign and blood type, and your older brother's name. You can also choose to just use the default names already given. But take note that the zodiac sign you will choose will also determine your partner. See the Partner FAQ [Prtnr0] above for more information about this. After approving everything (the left option), you will wake up at the 7th of June, sunday. JUNE -------------- [June06] * 06/07 - Sunday * You wake up and talk to yourself, and soon after, your brother will come. A series of conversations will occur, and you will be given 3 choices. As far as I know, it won't affect major events in the game, so go ahead and choose. After that, Azuma (default name) will explore the bookstore and the sports shop, then proceed to the Tennis courts. Once there, Rin Hirakoba and Eishiro Kite will appear and challenges Azuma to a match. After some conversations, your partner will show up and you will be given 3 options. Again, it won't affect the game for whichever you choose, so be free. After choosing, another option will be given, this time asking you what your position will be. The options can be random, for what I've seen, usually given are All-rounder, Aggresive baseliner, Counter puncher, and Serve and Volley. After all these, The game will start, and it will start with 5-4, 15 all. Kite will always be the one to serve, and the only option your partner has for a return is a special shot. Press the R button or touch the lower screen's to select it. Take a look in the Doubles How-to [DoubHT] part for more info about playing a match. After you win, Atobe and Kabaji will come to say Hi, unless Atobe was your starting partner, and a lot of conversing will happen. I fast forward these since I can't really understand it. It won't have a point. Anyways, the sun will set and your older brother will meet you outside your house, do some more talking, and finally back to your room. Two options will always appear before you sleep. The left option (its says 'Nemuru', I know that much) will let you sleep, and the right option will take you to the System Menu. You can save now. * 06/08 - Monday * Today, Azuma will go out to the courts and meet Sakuno. The two of you will practice together, and after a while, you'll be given 3 choices. It wont matter what you choose here, and the choices will be in a random order everytime. So just choose and move on. Sakuno will give you her e-mail, so you'll be getting some mail from her from time to time. After that, you proceed to school. Here, the choices on where to go after class appears. 2 options will appear, to go shopping, the upper choice, or go home, the latter. It's wise to go shopping before going home, since it's a chance to meet your other possible partners. Choosing to go shopping will lead you to 5 places to choose from. Going to a specific place will let you meet a person that will appear on the density chart. 1st option - Ryoma 2nd option - Sengoku 3rd option - Akira 4th option - Mizuki 5th option - Inui Note that the option will not appear if the person you're supposed to meet is your starting partner. After that, you'll come back home and Atobe's CG art will start talking. Turn your volume up for some japanese fun. After Azuma talks to herself, she'll be given 2 options. It's wise to choose the first option, then go ahead and save then sleep. You'll notice that when you save, 3 stars will appear on the right side of the file. These stars will indicate how many matches you've won. For now, you get 3 free stars. Getting more stars increases your partner's density faster. * 06/09 - Tuesday * After school, you won't get to choose where to go, instead, you'll go and meet the Hyotei players. For now, Shishido won't be available for the density chart, but he will after a while. I got him after collecting 6 endings. I should get approval for this. Anyways, after that you'll be taken back home, and the two choices will appear. This choice will always appear before you sleep, though it won't in some instances. Choosing the upper option lets you have more information about the people you've met, not much help for people who can't read Japanese. Choosing the second option let's you sleep. So sleep and save. * 06/10 - Wednesday * Today, you'll get to choose which partner you want to be with. It doesn't have to be your first partner, you can practice together with the other possible partners that will appear on your cellphone. Just touch the character's name to select him, and today you can also have your second match. 2 options will appear, and choosing the first one will let you just practice with the partner you chose, and the second one will let you have a match. If you chose to have a match, you'll get to choose who you want to have a match with. If you go to the first option, You'll get to play with Tachibana and Ishida, with the score of 5-5. Going to the second option will let you battle with Yuuta and Akazawa, with a score of 5-4. After the match, you gain a star if you win, and you lose one when you don't. Nothing left to do but sleep and save. It's a good idea to check the density chart every once in a while, to see your progress. * 06/11 - Thursday * If you choose to go shopping today, you will meet Kaidoh on the 3rd option, and Eiji on the 4th. Otherwise, you'll practice with a chosen partner or just go back home. Seriously, I won't recommend going back home, because raising a person's density is your purpose here. If by chance your partner doesn't appear on your phone when you go to practice, you can either press B to go shopping instead, or practice with another person. * 06/12 - Friday * Today, you won't meet anyone new if you go shopping, but you can still stock up on items or books if you have the chance. Otherwise, you can choose to go to a match with Hiyoshi and Gakuto, with a score of 5-5. * 06/13 - Saturday * You can play with Minami and Higashikata today, with a score of 5-3. Sakuno will send you a mail tonight, too, so the 2 options won't be appearing. Some big news. * 06/14 - Sunday * Shishido and Oshitari will be at the fastfood (first option) if you go shopping today. Otherwise, you can either practice or have a match. If you chose to have a match, you can play with Shinji and Akira with a score of 5-4, or with Ryou and Yanagisawa with a score of 5-5. After your trip, you'll be taken to Seigaku grounds to meet the regulars. If you haven't already done so, you'll meet Tezuka, Eiji, Kaidoh, Ryoma, Shinji and Kamio. All of them will appear on the density chart after, except for Shinji. * 06/15 - Monday * Tezuka will be there if you choose to go to the first option when shopping. As for tennis, you can only practice today. Not really much progress, but hey. Practicing can increase your stats AND your partner's density. * 06/16 - Tuesday * Nothing much to do today. No one is out shopping, all you can do is practice. It's also a good idea to go shopping when you have the chance, and buy some buff weights. Those are the ones available in the sports shop with the 'equip' icon on the right side, and it indicates a kg weight (1kg, 2kg, etc.). Buff weights can help increase the chances of making the opponent's racket fall off, even with just a regular shot. If you haven't done so already, you'll meet Mizuki on your way home. Your brother will talk to you when you get home, and Sakuno will also send you a mail tonight. * 06/17 - Wednesday * You can play a match with Marui and Jackal today, with a score of 4-5, or with Mizuki and Yuuta with 5-5. No seigaku regular will be available today, even if you send them mail, they'll just say they're doing something else. As usual, no one will be shopping today. * 06/18 - Thursday * After school, Atobe and Kabaji will pick you up and take you to meet the Rikkai Dai people. After a bit of talk, you'll go outside and Atobe will give you 3 choices. Choosing won't affect further game events, but the wisest choice is "Mochiron desu!", the one with the exclamation point. Niou will be available as a partner after this day. * 06/19 - Friday * No matches can be issued today, but Atobe is in the sports shop, so you can meet him if you want. * 06/20 - Saturday * You can't go shopping today, you can only choose to either practice or play a match. You can either play with Inui and Kaidoh with a score of 5-5, or with Fuji and Kawamura with 4-5. If you win, your partner will tell you that he's tired from the match, and you will offer him a massage. The Massage minigame will start. See the Minigames section [MiniGm] for details on how to get this over with. * 06/21 - Sunday * If you go shopping today, you can either meet with Momo and Ryoma on the AMP (first choice), Niou and Yagyuu on the sports shop (second choice), or with Tezuka and Ooishi on the bookstore (last choice). You can't issue a match for now, you can only practice. After that, you will meet Kenya and Shiraishi on the tennis courts. After a while, Oshitari will come, and a bunch of conveys will occur. After it all ends, you'll have a doubles match with Kenya and Oshitari, Shiraishi being your doubles partner. The match will start at 4-4. When you win, Shiraishi will be available as a partner. * 06/22 - Monday * Sakuno will send you a mail right after school, informing you about the Amusement park. I can't really work out what is says, sorry. Anyway, you can only practice today, and no one will be shopping outside. * 06/23 - Tuesday * It'll be raining today, so you can't go to practice or have a match. You can still go shopping, and Oshitari will be at the bookstore. After your trip, you will walk home, then it'll start to rain again. 3 choices will appear, two of which is randomly picked. The choices to appear can either take you to meet Fuji and Tezuka, Eiji and Oishi, or Inui and Kaidoh. Just choose where you want to go. Sorry if I can't specify anymore details, because I can't really read it too much. * 06/24 - Wednesday * Azuma will go on a morning workout today, and you'll meet your partner outside. You'll be given 3 choices, it's different for every partner. The first choice is always wise. After school, you can only choose to have a match, where you can play with either Kirihara and Renji with a score of 4-5, or with Kamio and Tachibana with 5-4. * 06/25 - Thursday * People out shopping are Kaidoh on the first option, and Sengoku on the 2nd. Other than that, you can only go out to practice today. * 06/26 - Friday * You can choose to play a match today, with either Ryoma and Momo at 4-4, or Kawamura and Akutsu with 5-4. And, no one will be out shopping today. Big surprise. After that's done, you'll get home and Atobe's CG will explain something to you. I've probably said this a million times now, but again, forgive me if I can't give anymore details about this. * 06/27 - Saturday * Only Niou will be out shopping today at the CD shop. You can have a match with Kikumaru and Gakuto with 5-4, or Aoi and Atsushi at 5-3. After you win, your partner will get pestered with a fly. After some conveys, the Fly Swatting minigame will start. See the Minigame section [MiniGm] for more details on this. * 06/28 - Sunday * It's sunday, so there's no school today. Shiraishi will send you a mail asking if you'd want to hang out today. You can choose to practice or have a match, but it won't matter since you'll end up having a match anyway. If you chose to practice, you'll get an option to battle with either Shishido and Chotaro with 5-4, or with Davide and Saeki with 5-3. If you chose to have a match directly, you'll battle with Kintaro and Gin, with a score of 4-5. If you win, the Fly Swatting game will occur on Shiraishi before you come home. * 06/29 - Monday * Today is the start of the exams. Yay. Kamio will be at the first option when you go shopping, and Eiji and Inui will be on the last. You can only practice today, so get the day over with. * 06/30 - Tuesday * It'll rain today after school, so you'll directly come back home. When you get home, your mom will talk to you about moving to America. After some more conversations, you'll be given 3 choices. Pick the first one, and save and sleep. JULY -------------- [July07] * 07/01 - Wednesday * You'll get to talk to your brother in the morning. When you get to school, you can't choose to go anywhere, instead, Azuma will walk around, still thinking about the news she received the previous day. Something happens, and your partner comes and asks if you're feeling well. After some more conversations, you'll be back home, get through some more conversations, and be able to sleep. * 07/02 - Thursday * You can only choose to go shopping today, so you do that. You'll find Fuji and Inui on the first option, and Mizuki on the last. * 07/03 - Friday * You can practice today, but your partner won't appear on the list. He won't be appearing until next saturday, at the tennis competition. If you go shopping, you'll see Oshitari and Gakuto on the CD shop. Before you go to sleep, your partner will send you a mail inviting you to go play a match tomorrow after school. You can choose to say yes or no, but saying yes is always the right choice. So go ahead and choose, save and sleep. * 07/04 - Saturday * After school, you'll meet up with your partner and go to the court to play with Sanada and Renji. After some talk, you'll be given 3 choices. It won't matter what you choose, because it's random for every partner. Once you let the match start, you can make the effort to win one game, or just go ahead and let yourself lose, because you'll lose anyway. The game will start at 0-5, and will end at either 0-6, or 1-6, depending on what you do. You'll lose a star, of course. After the match, talking will occur, and you'll be sent back home. You get to talk to your brother at home, and your dad will send you a mail. You'll be given 3 choices, and choose the first one. After that, you can save and sleep. You'll also notice that Shiraishi's face will appear beside your partner's in the save file, and I don't know why. This only happens if you didn't already have 2 faces on the save file. * 07/05 - Sunday * A normal day. You can't go out your house today, so get past the conversations and save and sleep. * 07/06 - Monday * After school, your partner will be waiting for you outside, much to Azuma's surprise. He'll say that he'll be taking you somewhere, and the two of you will go to the tennis courts, where you first met. The two of you will talk, and if you won one game in the match with Renji and Sanada, your partner will hit you unintentionally, and Azuma will run away. Oh, the drama. You'll go home after that. * 07/07 - Tuesday * It's a festival today, and you'll go to the fair. You'll a lot of self talking, and after a while, you'll be given 2 choices. The first choice was tennis, and the second choice would be your partner. I think this is asking which is more important to you, but I'm not very sure. I myself always choose the partner option. After making a choice, your partner will appear, talk to you, and you'll be sent home. * 07/08 - Wednesday * You'll wake up and talk to your brother. It seems that Azuma has decided to play tennis again. You can go shopping and meet Mizuki on the first choice. You can also play a match today, but as I said earlier, your partner won't be appearing on the list until saturday, so you have to practice or play with someone else until then. Anyway, you can choose to play with either Chotaro and Hiyoshi with 5-4, or with Atobe and Oshitari with 4-5. After the match, there'll be a faucet to watch, and Azuma will remind herself about something involving the 21st. Then Atobe's CG will come and explain again. I'm betting it's about the upcoming tournament on saturday. * 07/09 - Thursday * If you go shopping today, you can meet Kaidoh on the CD shop, and Sengoku and Taichi in the sports shop. Besides that, you can only practice for today. When you get home, Shiraishi will send you a mail. * 07/10 - Friday * No one will be out shopping today, but you can ask a partner to go with you and play a match. If you do, you'll get to play with Kintaro and Chitose, with a score of 4-5. * 07/11 - Saturday * Today, you'll go straight to the tournament venue after some talk, and be given choices. You get to choose which partner you want to play with, and the number of choices varies on how many faces you have on the save file. It's advisable to memorize what their name looks like if you can't read japanese, so you can choose properly. After some more talk, you'll go back home, and return something your brother forgot from your room. After that, you can save and sleep. * 07/12 - Sunday * When you wake up, you'll be visited by your partner at your house (Bonus points for Eiji, who will come by your window, regardless that you're on the 2nd floor). A lot of conversations will occur, which will end up with the two of you practicing together, and asking you if you want to go home (first choice), or go play a match (2nd choice). If you play a match, you can either play with Ryoma and Gin with 4-5, or Kirihara and Yagyuu with 4-5. * 07/13 - Monday * You can only choose to practice today. Oh, joy. * 07/14 - Tuesday * If you go shopping, you can meet Ryoma at the CD shop, Tezuka at the sports shop, and Inui and Kaidoh at the Bookstore. Otherwise, you can only go to practice. When you come home, Sakuno will send you an email, and Atobe's CG will once again show up to explain something. Probably about the party he's having this coming saturday. * 07/15 - Wednesday * No one will be out to shop today, but you can choose to have a match. You can play with Niou and Yagyuu, with a score of 3-5. * 07/16 - Thursday * Niou and Yagyuu will be out shopping on the sports shop, while Atobe will be on the bookstore. You can only practice today, too. * 07/17 - Friday * No one will be out shopping today, and you can only choose to practice. Just go on and get the day over with. When you get home, you'll think about the upcoming party. * 07/18 - Saturday * No one will be out shopping today, but you can choose to play a match today. You can play with either Eiji and Ooishi with 5-4, or Yuuta and Yanagisawa with 5-3. After that, you'll automatically be redirected to the party. If you remained loyal to only one partner, Shiraishi will approach you and give you two choices. In my opinion, I'd pick the 2nd one and turn him down, because if I choose the first one, then his density will go up, and ruin the chances of completing my partner's CG art. You're free to choose whatever, though. * 07/19 - Sunday * You can choose to practice or have a match today, with Yuuji and Koharu, with a score of 4-4. If you win, your partner will ask you if you could come with him. You can say yes (first option), or no (the latter). He will then take you to a place he likes, and talk to you about stuff. It's likely that he'll ask you a question, but it usually won't affect the main plot. Just be careful when it does. * 07/20 - Monday * When you wake up, your partner will send you a mail inviting you to go practice with him. You can say yes or no, but of course, saying yes is always right. After the two of you practice, he'll take you to the beach. The two of you will talk, and a bunch of options will appear. You can choose whatever you want, and turn on your speakers for some voice listening fun. If you raised the desity of 2 persons, today is the day you choose only one. After your trip to the beach, the other person will appear outside your house. After a bunch of talking, the two of them will ask you who you'll prefer. Whoever you choose will have his density go up, and the density of the one you abandoned will go down. Dramatic, isn't it? * 07/21 - Tuesday * Azuma will be taking a morning run today, and of course, you'll bump into your partner. It's likely he'll ask you something, but as usual, it won't matter as much. No one will be out shopping today, and you can only go to practice. If your partner's density is high enough, the two of you will practice overtime today, and you will learn your union skill. Unfortunately, only your partner can use this lvl.3 combo, so if you want to use it in a match, have your partner receive the ball. * 07/22 - Wednesday * If you want, Shiraishi will be available for visiting in the sports shop. Besides that, you can invite a partner to play a match today, with either Yanagi and Kirihara with 4-5, or with Oshitari and Kabaji with 5-5. * 07/23 - Thursday * No seigaku players will be available today, but if you had at least 3 members with a density of 3 on your density chart, then you'll be invited to Kawamura's sushi shop to celebrate Momo's birthday. After the sushi festivities, you and the whole team will go to the Amusement Park to play. There isn't anything special for the day besides that. * 07/24 - Friday * If you go shopping, Shiraishi will be on the Supermarket, Kaidoh and Momo will be on the sports shop, and Tachibana and Chitose will be on the bookstore. Aside from that, you can choose to have a match today, and you can play with Jirou and Marui with a score of 5-4. * 07/25 - Saturday * No one will be out shopping today, but you can have a match. You can play with Atobe and Shishido with 4-5, or with Kintaro and Shiraishi with 4-5. If you win, you can start the Shoulder Massage minigame with your partner. Just remember to choose the first option when the two options appear, or else you won't be able to activate the minigame. See the Minigame section [MiniGm] for more details about this. *07/26 - Sunday * There will be 2 parts for this day, I'm not quite sure why. Anyways, no one will be out shopping on the first part, but Inui will appear in the bookstore on the second. As for competing, you can play with Sengoku and Saeki with 5-4, or with Momo and Davide with 5-4. You can only practice on the 2nd part, and note that you can't invite the same person to practice with you again. * 07/27 - Monday * Yuuji and Koharu will be out shopping today. Besides that, you can only go to practice. * 07/28 - Tuesday * Your only choice is to go to practice with a partner today, so you go on and do that. * 07/29 - Wednesday * You can play a match today, with Tachibana and Chitose and a score of 4-5. * 07/30 - Thursday * Your partner will meet up with you and the two of you proceeds to the Amusement Park to submit an entry fee for the upcoming tournament. * 07/31 - Friday * Your partner will invite you to practice today, and after you do, both of you will go someplace else. Again, you can turn on your speakers to listen to your partner's voice when his CG art appears, because this is your last chance to do so. Tomorrow will be your last day in the game. August -------------- [AugLdy] * 08/01 - Saturday * When you wake up next morning, you'll get to talk to your brother. After some talk, you'll automatically be directed to the tournament venue with your partner, and be given 3 options. Choose the first one and you'll start the 2 games continously. Your opponents are chosen depending on who your partner is, and the score will vary depending on who you'll play against. You can play with either Gakuto and Eiji with a score of 5-4, or with Inui and Kaidoh with 4-4. Unlike every other matches, you won't earn or lose stars if you win or lose. Anyway, after you win the first match, the second one will start right away, leaving you no chance to save at all. You best be prepared. The next match can be between Chotaro and Shishido, or with Marui and Jackal. The score will be 4-5. After you win, the third match won't start right away, and you can still save. The third match can either be against Atobe and Kabaji, or Tezuka and Ryoma. The score will be 4-4, though I need confirmation on this. After winning this final match, you'll be left on the venue until sundown. Atobe will come to pick you up and tell you about the party he's having tonight and you can also turn on the speakers to hear everyone's voice. You'll be automatically directed to the party after the talk, and you get to listen to everyone. (Bonus points for Shiraishi, I'll never get tired of listening to him say 'Ecstasy') After all the talking, if you get your partner's density to at least touch the highest line in the chart, he'll ask you if you could come with him after the party. Azuma will agree and the credits will roll. You can touch the screen anywhere to end the credits right away. After the credits, your partner's ending will start. Yay, yay. The password for his best end will also appear after the talking. After all that, you'll be asked to save your progress. It won't be saved for the file, but the CG you earned and the ending will appear in the gallery. It will take you to the title screen, and the save file will be on the last time you saved. ************************************************* Minigames [MiniGm] ************************************************* Sometimes, after a match, your partner will take you to a place with bushes and such, and will ask you for something. This event triggers a minigame. There are 3 minigames in the game, all requiring the touch screen. * Massage -- [MGameM] * This minigame is the first minigame you can trigger throughout the game. The game will give you 5 chances to touch a certain body part, and you can play 3 times all in all. If you fail to do touch the part at least 2 times, then your partner's density won't rise up at all. There are 5 chances, but there are only 3 possible places to touch. _*****_ * * * X * * * * * | | _* *_ *- -* / | X | \ / /| |\ \ / / | | \ \ / / | X | \ \ X marks the spot. Be careful when touching these places. It needs precision, because you may be throwing away one of your 5 chances if you touched wrongly. If a yellow box appears where you touched, it means that you're getting warmer. * Mosquito swatting -- [MGameQ] * This minigame can occur 2 times in the game, one for your partner and one for Shiraishi. For this game, A mosquito will start pestering your partner, and it's your job to slap it away. You'll have to slap the right place where your partner tells you to. Due to japanese content, it's hard to tell where the mosquito lands. You only have 3 chances to slap the mosquito, and there are 3 places in which the mosquito will land on. _*****_ * * * * * X * * * | | X* *_ *- -* / | | \ / /| |\ \ / / | | \X \ / / | | \ \ Again, X marks the spot. If you can read japanese, then you can understand what place your partner will say the mosquito is on. If not, then try your luck and use up all 3 chances. This game lasts for 3 rounds. * Shoulder Massage -- [MGameS] * Title says it all. This minigame will let you massage your partner on his shoulder. You'll be given 3 chances to massage a shoulder, and you'll be able to do so in 3 rounds. Don't be reckless, because touching a place other than the shoulder will end the minigame. ************************************************* Password List [PasLst] ************************************************* On the title page, there's an option that lets you put in a password. A: That's the main reason I created the FAQ, you know. Go read the walkthrough so you can play properly. Q: I want --- as a partner! What do I do? A: Go to the Partner FAQ section and look at the table. That should tell you what to choose to get the partner you want. Q: I can't beat Sanada and Yanagi on 7/04, no matter how many times I try. A: You really can't win in this match. It's part of the plot, so don't worry. Winning at least one game will add to the drama later on, so I recommend it. Q: Can I use this and put it somewhere else? A: Absolutely not. If you really want to put it, give me the link and I'll put it there myself. Q: The password for --- won't work! A: If it's a password for someone's ending, then it won't work. Sources are still working it out, so for now, you can't use them. As for the CG ones, email me the password and I'll see what's wrong. Q: I want to ask you a question. A: Then do so! I won't bite. Just send your question to [email protected], and I'll try to answer as soon as possible. Q: I found something wrong in your FAQ. A: Well, please send it to [email protected], together with the correction. That'll help a lot. Plus, you'll be credited. Yay. Q: There are some CG art of --- that I can't unlock, no matter how many times I got his ending! A: Some CG art of one character can only be attained by completing various requirements to activate it (Sengoku's 2nd CG, Shiraishi's 3rd and 4th, etc) but I myself am still trying to work out the exact requirements. I'll post up some information once I get them approved, but as of now, please be patient and forgive me. ************************************************* Copyright and Credits [CpRCrd] ************************************************* All contents in this FAQ is (c) Denesse 2009.
