2. Introduction
---

Usually, movie-licensed games are worse than bad. They're awful; just
horrendous. But, this game seems to be one of the very few movie-licensed games
that manage to actually be GOOD. Featuring both an incredible 2D single-player
mode and an addicting 3D multiplayer mode reminiscent of Rouge Squadron, Star
Wars Episode III quickly became the most underestimated title on the DS due to
screen shots before the game's release. Now it is hailed as one of the best DS
games around.
This is my first FAQ/Walkthrough ever, and I'm happy that it is of such a
fantastic game. For Star Wars, this brings the saga to a closing superbly.

3. Story
---

For those who own the game, box, and booklet, you can simply look in the
instruction booklet for the story synopsis. As for people who might have bought
it used, I'll give a short explanation rather than quoting the manual.

Basically, there's a raging war going on and the Republic is being crushed by
the Sith Lord Darth Tyranus (AKA Count Dooku, for those not familiar with his
Sith name). General Grievous, the cyborg leader of the Separatist droid army,
has gone and kidnapped Chancellor Palpatine, leader of the Galactic Senate. As
the army flees with their hostage, a duo of Jedi Knights follow. That's right;
Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker. As you play through Anakin's story, you
will witness him become twisted by the dark side and eventually become the
menace of Darth Vader. As for Obi-Wan, he's duty is to take out General
Grievous. But, once his task is finished and he decides to check back with
Anakin, he will find that the Anakin he knew is no more...

5. Characters
---

The instruction booklet gives descriptions of each character, but I give better
ones.

--Anakin Skywalker--
Everybody who's watched a Star Wars movie should know who this guy is. He was
first "discovered" in Episode I by Qui-Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Qui-Gon
sensed a strong presence of the Force in Anakin, so he decided to take the child
with him, promising the boy that he would become a Jedi and that he was indeed
the Chosen One, the Jedi who would bring balance to the Force. (Boy, was he
wrong!)
After the Council rejected Qui-Gon's request to take Anakin as his apprentice,
he asked his current apprentice, Obi-Wan, to teach him the ways of a Jedi,
insisting that Obi-Wan was ready for "the trials." The Jedi Council once again
refused to allow Anakin to be trained, for he was too old. But, after Qui-Gon
was killed by Darth Maul, the Council reconsidered and allowed Obi-Wan to train
Anakin.
After many years of training, Anakin soon fell in love with Padm Amidala. His
fear for her safety after having reoccurring dreams of her dying in child birth
eventually led to anger, and we all know where that leads to...

--Obi-Wan Kenobi--
Yes, the legendary Obi-Wan Kenobi... BEFORE he got old. He's a young Master who
is training Anakin Skywalker, the Chosen One, in the Jedi Arts. He's clever and
quick, always able to think on his feet (he's also very wise in the later
Episodes). What he doesn't know is that everything is about to go downhill when
he realizes what Anakin's done behind his back.

--Darth Tyranus--
For all you guys who don't know, this grey-haired Sith Lord is Count Dooku. As
the manual says, "[He's] more than a challenge for any Jedi, be it Knight or
Master." Darn right. He's also the guy that cut off Anakin's right arm.
He got away at the end of Episode II, and now Obi-Wan and Anakin are hot on his
tail. Don't like the guy? Beat him in the first duel and you'll more than happy
to witness his demise.

--Mace Windu--
A wise and agile Jedi, Mace Windu is actually (**SPOILERS**) Samuel L. Jackson.
He's one of the highest Jedi in the Council and he's strong in the ways of the
Force and stuff. Plus, he actually gets to fight in this one!
Oh, by the way, he's lightsaber is purple. That means he's cooler than you.

--General Grievous--
A strange cyborg with four arms and a bad cold is the leader of the Separatist
Droid Army. He's trained in the Jedi art of lightsaber duels and can wield 4 at
a time. Unfortunately, though, he only fights with 2 in this game. What? It's
not that big of a deal. Stop crying.
Oh yeah, he kills Jedi and proudly displays their lightsabers around his belt.
Have fun.

--Padm Amidala--
Anakin's lover, Padm is about ten years older than Anakin. Yeah.
Anyway, she's currently pregnant with twins, and Anakin is the father. But, they
are both secretly married, for romantic love is against the Jedi Order. (Jeez,
Jedi Council, lighten up!)
Anakin fears for her safety when he has nightmares of Padm dying during
childbirth. And so, Padm quickly becomes entangled in what will eventually be
the great downfall of Anakin Skywalker, the Chosen One.

--Palpatine AKA (**OMGSPOLERS**) Darth Sidious--
Okay, if you didn't know this guy was Darth Sidious/The Emperor, you need to
stop reading this right now and go sit in a corner and rethink your life.
Anyway, Palpatine is nearing the end of his little scheme in Episode III. In
case you haven't noticed, Palpatine's running the show, here. There are no real
Separatists; Palpatine created them himself. He's the puppet master on both
sides. This time around, he's decided to finally pull Anakin, who is close
friends with Palpatine, to the Dark Side. At the right moment, he will reveal
his true identity and declare himself Emperor...

7. Walkthrough
---

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away...

THERE WAS A WALKTHROUGH.

Here it is. The big ol' walkthrough.
Now, the main game consists of beat-em-up gameplay. Just hack and slash your way
through, killing enemies, grabbing items and destroying scenery, and clearing
areas. And THAT'S how I'll cover it.
Each paragraph (actually, each wall of text separated by a line break) is a
different area (except for Missions). An area is basically when your camera is
fixed in one position and you can't move on until all the enemies on-screen are
beaten. After that, arrows will usually point you in the next direction to
continue and you'll keep doing that until you walk off-screen. I'm going to call
that entire thing an area. Don't like it? Tough.
Also in this guide, I will explain where exactly to find all 10 Customization
Points in each level via breaking the limited interactive scenery or killing
enemies. Finding all of them and getting good grades in Jedi Style and Speed can
score you a big fat 100% on each level. (Though, for the Jedi Style and Speed
points, playing through the level a few times is sometimes required for you to
get better.)
As for Special Missions, there are 5 (3 for each character's story, but 2 are
the same). You fly a
starship like you would in a Rouge Squadron game and you are either presented
with the task of surviving obstacles to reach a destination, or to destroy all
enemy ships. (Keep in mind that I will cover the game on the Jedi difficulty
setting.)
All right, let's get this monster started!

--
7A. Anakin Walkthrough
--

Playing as Anakin, you will witness him become consumed by the dark side and
transform into the caped villain who is featured in the original trilogy.
Anakin's Jedi Style is based off aerial attacks, combos, Force powers, and Fury
moves. Try to utilize these as much as possible with being repetitive to receive
good results.

-------------------------------------------------
7Ai. Scene 1: "I have a bad feeling about this!"
-------------------------------------------------

The first time you play, you'll be graced with John Williams' own score and the
Star Wars scroll. Eventually, you'll reach a scene where Obi-Wan and Anakin do
some talking, and Anakin decides to run ahead, being the ants-in-his-pants
person he is. Then, in the words of Anakin himself, this is where the fun
begins.
Well, not quite. On your first playthrough, the game will briefly explain things
as you go. But, that's what you have me for, right? ...Right?

All-righty, let's begin. Move forward and a droid should come up to greet you...
with a gun. Mash his head in however way you would like (though, for now, Force
powers will inflict no damage). By the way, keep in mind that you can use the
remains of droids (arms, legs, whatever) on others by using the Force to chuck
it at 'em.
Now, more droids should come in. Really, this little area shouldn't be too much
for you to handle. You should get a CP (Customization Point) from a droid here.
Bash the droids into the ground and then break both containers in the backdrop.
Yes, they CAN be broken, and they will usually contain helpful items. Use this
to your advantage in later levels. Anyway, the second container should drop a
CP. Grab it and move on.
Now, while you're moving, some droids will come in threes. Beat them like usual
and continue off-screen.
[CUSTOMIZATION POINT TOTAL: 2]

Yeah, I'm gonna do that a lot. Just to make sure you know how many CPs you're
supposed to have, because after you walk into a new area, you can't go back and
collect the ones you've missed. Okay, so now, the game's going to describe how
to block laser blasts (if you're on the first playthrough). Follow its
instructions and remember that pressing L JUST BEFORE the laser hits you will
effectively ricochet it back to the enemy. Any longer and it'll simply bounce
off.
All right, move on and don't forget to break open the boxes (which, yes, are
also breakable). Once you break open another large container in the backdrop,
you should meet up with some droids who will come in tiny swarms. Beat them,
and one should drop a CP. Keep moving, break the boxes and grab another CP.
After those four boxes, a red droid should drop down to greet you. Teach him
and his friends a lesson in surprise parties and blow that taco stand.
[CUSTOMIZATION POINT TOTAL: 4]

Well looks like there are "droids up there." Where "up there" exactly is, I
dunno. But Anakin's going to handle them, and you're going to help! Move forward
and be educated about the ever present Force. Move on to your next lesson on
Fury moves, which are very helpful. Now, you don't have to hold B all the time
like the game instructs you to, you can simply press the picture when it lights
up on the touch screen. But, whatever makes you happy, I guess. Do a zappy thing
with your lightsaber entitled "Vader's Wrath" and watch your enemies get owned.
Move on until some droids drop down to say hello. Slash 'em all cool-like. One
should drop a CP. Yay! Beat them, move on, and then beat the ones who are
blocking the way. Two generous ones should drop not one, but two CPs.
Move on to exit the area only to find yourself...
[CUSTOMIZATION POINT TOTAL: 7]

...In the same place. Move forward and beat the first droids that see you. One
should drop a CP. Keep moving and more Rodger, Rodger droids will attempt to
kill you. If you're good, they won't. One will drop a party favor for you, a CP.
Move ahead and you'll find that more droids didn't get the message that Anakin
is tearing the place up. Show 'em what you're made of and continue. Keep running
and then Anakin will automatically jump off and out of the area.
[CUSTOMIZATION POINT TOTAL: 9]

Grab the CP here (bringing to a total of 10) after Anakin gets angry because
there wasn't a challenge. A big ol' droid will fly overhead, providing Anakin
with his little challenge. Now, run forward and the droid will pass overhead.
The strategy to beat him is simple. At first, it's going to fly overhead and
drop four bombs. As it does this, try to sink an uppercut into it without
getting hit as this is one of the only ways to bring it down at the moment. The
other way to hit it is to slash it while it flies low after you've hit with an
uppercut, but I suggest hitting it as it flies overhead. After 3 hits, it should
transform into a walker form.
The walker form simply walks back and forth and scans the ground with a long red
laser. Don't let this overwhelm you, that'd just be stupid. Instead, jump into
the air and deliver a blow to head. This will stop the laser briefly for you to
run out of the way. Repeat this method 6 times and his head will explode and
he'll collapse. Most likely, you'll get knocked down, but it's never altered my
score or anything. Obi-Wan will come to greet you, thus ending the Scene.
[CUSTOMIZATION POINT TOTAL: 10]

You will now be presented with the Mission Points screen. This tallies up your
performance and will appear at the end of each scene (excluding Duels). You
should have obtained all 10 CPs, but most likely, you won't have 100%. You'll
have to play through another time and be quick, agile, and stylish (Jedi
stylish, actually; that means no ribbons) to receive a better grade. Press A to
advance to the next screen, the Force Upgrade screen. Here, you can use
Customization Points you've collected to upgrade your Force moves. As far as I
know, CPs are each worth 2 points. You should have 20 if you just started. I
suggest either Choke, Absorb, or Rage, because I never found myself using Saber
Throw all that much. Keep in mind that first getting the Force power costs 15
points, upgrading a power you already have costs 30 points, and upgrading a
Force ability to the maximum (after upgrading twice) costs 60 points. Choose a
Force power and continue.
Finally, you will come upon the Upgrade Stats screen. This screen is extremely
important, for whatever is done here can never be reversed. The screen can also
never be accessed again on the same level. Upgrade stamina if you find yourself
having a difficult time enduring fights, upgrade Strength if you fight with
your lightsaber most or if you want to beat enemies quickly, for this shortens
the process, or upgrade your Intuition if you use Force powers most and you
find yourself using up a lot quickly. Keep in mind that you will only be able
to select between two each time you upgrade. I don't know which one's they'll
be and I don't know if it's random, but whatever stays, stays. Forever. Don't
invest all into one category and remember to choose wisely. Your progress will
be saved and you will be brought to the Mission Select screen. Choose the next
mission and continue. I WILL NOT GO OVER THESE ENDING INSTRUCTIONS AGAIN, SO
REMEMBER THEM AND DON'T BOTHER ME ABOUT IT. Sheesh.

-------------------------------------------------
7Aii. Scene 2: "These aren't the droids you're looking for."
-------------------------------------------------

Looks like they sense Count Dooku. Remember him from Episode II? Well, you will
soon. First, you will have to beat this stage.
As I said, they sense Count Dooku. Well, really Anakin does, but Obi-Wan senses
a trap. Who's right? You'll soon find out! When you start, some droids will
already start to approach you. Do what you do best and break their circuits.
Don't forget about the containers in the back, as well. Break the first for a
CP. Keep moving to find two more containers and some eager droids. Smash 'em as
they come and move on.
Now, you'll find a new type of droid. A big, hulky, blue one who shoots lasers
from his wrist. These guys will just keep staying a far distance from you and
ram you with lasers. If you get too close, they'll punch you, stunning you
briefly. They're a little tougher, especially in swarms, but you can easily
take care of them by knocking them down with a Force push and then downward-
stabbing them or just slashing away at them. Either way, knock its upper body
off and jump over the laser on the floor to continue. Another will appear
eventually as well as some Rodger droids. More will appear after you beat
them. Give them the same treatment and move on. Break the first container
you see for a CP. Jump over the blue laser ahead and don't forget to break
open the box near it, providing you with another CP. Jump yet ANOTHER laser
and get on the move again. Some red Rodger droids will come in. Beat 'em up
and more blue bots will show up. Endure them and move on. Anakin will exclaim
that he's found the exit and will leave the area.
[CUSTOMIZATION POINT TOTAL: 3]

Oh, this is new! You'll now be in a more different part of the spaceship. A
little change never hurt anyone ('cept for the droids), right? Remember that now
you can break open pipes on the walls for items. Thrash around a bit here to get
an idea of which pipes I'm talking about.
Move on to the thinner walking space to be assaulted by droids. After a few,
one will drop a CP. Keep going to reach a wider area. Break a wall at the far
right side for a CP and then take care of the droids. Move father still and
prepare to do some serious laser jumping, dude. After that, run ahead and beat
the new, yellow droids. Now, about the new droids. These are actually yellow
Rodger, Rodger droids that actually say "Rodger, Rodger!" when they appear!
Isn't that neat-o? These guys shoot single blue lasers that can briefly paralyze
you. Don't let this happen, because you most likely will continue to get shot
like this and will be forever stuck. Knock their little droid heads off. In the
next little bit, one will drop a CP, and then some blue droids will drop in.
Beat them and move ahead.
[CUSTOMIZATION POINT TOTAL: 6]

the first wall you break here will contain a CP. Grab it and keep moving to have
some droids of all colors come in. Move on after you beat them. You'll meet up
with a droid on your way down the hallway, but the conversation will be brief,
especially when the droid has a lightsaber through his chest. Eh, it happens to
the best of us. You just deal.
Now, break open the second wall you see with blocky paneling for a CP. Now, beat
the droids that show up and move ahead. In the next big section, some droids will
drop in, unknowing of the ownage that awaits them. Deliver that ownage. Once
you beat them and move on, you'll find some droids who were a bit late down the
hallway. Beat them down and keep moving. Jump the lasers and beat the droid in
your way for a CP. You've now come upon yet ANOTHER elevator room. Beat the
droids with your lightsaber. Break the far right wall for another CP, as well,
and the completion of the stage.
[CUSTOMIZATION POINT TOTAL: 10]

-------------------------------------------------
7Aiii. Scene 3: "Fear is the path to the dark side."
[DUEL WITH DARTH TYRANUS (COUNT DOOKU)]
-------------------------------------------------

Ready for your first lightsaber duel? Well, if you're playing through the first
time, the game will guide you. But I guide better.
So, the Chancellor has been kidnapped and look who's standing there as the
"culprit:" Count Dooku himself. Let's give a nice round of applause for Mr.
Dooku.
Okay, so this particular duel is a bit of a tag team thing. If Anakin takes a
little too much damage, he'll switch out with Obi-Wan. Now, lightsaber duels are
fast paced and really cool-looking, so here's some pointers. If the opponent is
aiming high, like an uppercut or something, then block regularly (or with L +
UP, but I never really found that to make a difference). The same block can be
used for attacks to the middle. Blocking downward (by pressing L + DOWN) will
block lower attacks. Finally, holding the R button will absorb Force attacks.

You and Dooku will basically take turns. When he attacks you, block as much as
you can. After he attacks, he'll be left open for your offensive maneuvers. You
can use regular swordplay to wear him down and push him back, or you can use
Force attacks to keep him from attacking for a little while. For Dooku, he will
charge his attacks long enough for you to predict the attack and successfully
block it. If he holds his lightsaber up high, prepare a low block. If he ducks
down and charges, prepare to block high. If he simply holds back his saber,
block as normal. When he hold back a fist that's glowing with blue energy,
absorb it with R. After you've attacked him enough, he'll begin blocking your
attacks. Stop attacking and then proceed to block his attacks.
Follow this strategy until the game takes over so the scene afterward will
make sense, which occurs around when Dooku has a tiny sliver of health left.
Anakin will be forced by the Chancellor to kill Dooku, and Anakin will
reluctantly do so. Thus begins his downward spiral into the dark side of the
Force, subtle as it is. You should complete this level with 100%, just as you
will with all other duels automatically.

-------------------------------------------------
7Aiv. Scene 4: "It's a trap!"
-------------------------------------------------

So, Anakin starts feeling that caffeine in his system again and decides to run
into the elevator when the ship shakes.
You'll begin the first area in the elevator. Some battle droids will drop down.
Do your thing and slash 'em up, elevator style. As you take them out, more will
drop down. The standard battle droids shouldn't pose much of a threat, so take
them out as they come. Eventually, two stun battle droids will drop down. You
want to make these guys a priority when deciding who to hit first. They can slow
you down a lot and leave you open for attack.
After them, some more battle droids will drop down. More and more will drop each
time the elevator shakes. Just endure this and don't let yourself get stopped by
the stunning droids. Use Rage attacks when necessary.
The elevator will eventually slow down to a stop. Walk to the door to exit the
area.
[CUSTOMIZATION POINT TOTAL: 0]

Okay, see those containers? Don't get too close to them. Simply step a bit close
and then run, because a container will fall from above, blowing them all up.
Grab the items left behind and be sure to grab the CP you should find in the
second pair of pipes here. Continue forward to more containers.
Now, you'll find a set of containers to the far right. A red battle droid will
drop down behind them. Use Force Push to throw the canisters into the droid. A
CP will be left from the containers. Also, two hulky green droids will walk in
from the left. Knock them out and continue to your right. Don't touch the
containers just yet. Walk a bit until a hulky green droid walks in. Walk behind
some containers so the droid is positioned right in front of them. Have some fun
with the Force and chuck the containers at him. A CP should be left behind by
one of the containers. If that attack doesn't work, just hit him like usual.
Another hulky droid will walk in. Do the same you did to the other and then hit
him again some more like normal. Move about your business.
[CUSTOMIZATION POINT TOTAL: 3]

Hit the second pipe for a CP and move on to see a familiar droid. You should
recognize them from Episode 1. They're destroyer droids, and they roll in,
activate a shield, and then shoot at you. Slice him and his buddy up and run
into the next room.
This room has an annoying camera/cannon in it. You can't beat it, so you'll just
have to deal with it. Stay far away from it's aiming reticule and just focus on
the droids. Trying jumping and using aerial attacks often to stay away from the
cannon's fire. Also, hit the first pipe in the room for a CP.
Move ahead and most likely you'll get hit upside the head with a falling
container. This is where the "fun" begins. Run into the next room as fast as
you can. Move around in place quickly as to not be hit by debris. Don't worry
about the cannon, though, it's busy taking out the containers. A droid will drop
down. Once again, use aerial attacks to avoid disagreements with the cannon or
debris. Kill the next droid using the same tactics. After the cannon is done
blowing up the containers, it will switch its lock to you, so run out of there.
Be sure to not be hit by the two continuously falling containers. A destroyer
droid will roll to add to the tension. Take the CP he left behind and keep
going.
[CUSTOMIZATION POINT TOTAL: 6]

You have one minute to escape. Run ahead and grab a CP you can find in the
second blocky wall section. Dodge all the containers falling and bolt. Keep
in mind that if you die on this part, you can replay and start right here.
Grab the CP dropped by a destroyer droid when you kill it and run some more.
You'll come to a wide area and another destroyer will roll in. Hit the first
pipe on the wall for a CP and then take out the droid. Continue to yet another
area identical to the one you just left. A third destroyer droid will pop up.
Slice and dice. Hit the first pipe right after the big open door for a CP and
then run to complete the stage.

7Av. MISSION 1: "To the Jedi Temple"
-------------------------------------------------

After a little talk with the Chancellor, Anakin will become Palpatine's personal
representative on the Jedi Council. He decides to fly to the Jedi Temple,
despite him knowing the Council will not accept the request.
So, that means you get a flying mission. Use your Jedi Starfighter to travel
through Coruscant. The fog will make it unclear what's ahead, so be aware. You
can boost through as much as you want, just remember to keep your engines from
heating up too much. It's a fairly simple level, so simply fly through until
you reach the Temple. It might take a few tries if you don't pay attention. If
you're still dieing, try slowing down (B) or just not taking crazy shortcuts.
Once you get to the Temple, some vulture droids will come flying in. Now you
get some aerial combat. Keep your cross hairs within the three triangles of an
enemy's lock-on to lock onto them. Fire missiles or just shoot; they'll both
home in. Grab power-ups if you need them, but other than that, just take out
anything that comes your way. After you've destroyed them all and read some
dialogue, you will continue to the on-foot mission.

--
7Av*. Scene 5: "My loyalties lie with the Republic."
--

You'll be greeted violently with a red destroyer droid. Do him in and take out
the droids ahead grabbing their family heirloom: a CP. Run ahead to find two
new things: a new droid and a floor-mounted cannon. You can either take out the
cannon yourself or simply dodge it, for it blows up when you've cleared the
section of droids. As for the droid, you've met up with an annoying, tall, red
droid. These guys like to enter the room running, knocking down anyone in their
path. They also like to pick you up. To release yourself from their grip, tap
'B' furiously. They fight with melee moves, so taking them out shouldn't be all
the difficult unless there's a group.
After you take out one, the second tall droid will drop a CP. Take out their
battle droid friends as well and exit the area.
[CUSTOMIZATION POINT TOTAL: 2]

Hit the two droids before they have a chance to speak. Move ahead to a narrow
area to be greeted by a tall droid. Yay. Hit him and his buddy will run in.
Grab their CP when you kill them and watch the cannon a-splode if it hasn't
already.
Move on to a path with fans and two destroyers. Wipe them out... all of them...
and take their CP. Some back-up will charge in. Do what you do best then leave
the area.
[CUSTOMIZATION POINT TOTAL: 4]

Run to the area with the fans and quickly dodge the blasts from the cannon. Tall
and red will run in to do a dance. Dance with him by using your lightsaber. As
a form of thanks for dancing with you, he'll drop a CP. Ain't that nice?
Run ahead to be assaulted by not one, not two, but three cannons. The second you
get near them an try to take out the cannons, their owners will run in to
promote the Preservation of Floor-Mounted Cannons fund-raising auction. Say you
don't have time with your saber. Use aerial attacks to better dodge the cannons'
fire. A lot of red tall droids will run in, so take them out as they come. Take
a dropped CP and watch the cannons go BOOM.
Run ahead and two tall red droids will literally run into you. Kill them. Now.
And take their CP. Now. Then exit the area. Now--okay, I'll stop that.
[CUSTOMIZATION POINT TOTAL: 7]

Run ahead and you'll see the following: droids and a cannon. You know what to
do, and it doesn't concern the Chicken Dance. Grab a droid's CP after his cold,
dead body disappears. Move along.
Run and smash up the destroyer real nice. Take its CP and a tall red droid will
run in. Run ahead and take out the battle droids. Near a ship, two destroyers,
two tall and reds, and some battle droids will throw a surprise party for you.
Smash 'em to bits and exit the area.
[CUSTOMIZATION POINT TOTAL: 10]

Oh, no, you're not done yet! It's time for everybody's favorite mini-boss: the
droid battle tank!
Basically, the big tank just sits there and occasionally fires blasts from a
side gun in three consecutive shots. As Anakin says, you can't hit it with your
lightsaber, so don't try. Two droids will pop up from either side of the tank.
Don't try and kill these guys; they come back every time and are actually used
for other purposes.
Okay, so the tank will first shoot three laser shots. Reflect these back to the
tank with the 'L' button. After three hits, the gun will explode and the tank
will move forward, exposing a machine gun turret. (You can also reflect the
lasers from the droids back at the tank for the same effect. If you don't blow
up the gun within the three shots, then the cannon on top of the tank will shoot
at you just like the cameras/cannons did in the previous level.)
Once the machine gun is exposed, it will fire a hail of lasers at you. They're
fast and cannot be reflected back, so you'll have to reflect the droid's lasers
back to the tank. After two hits, the machine gun will explode. Your target now
is the tank's huge cannon. Reflect the droids' lasers back to the cannon. After
five hits, the cannon will explode and the droid operating the tank will pop up
and shoot at you. Either reflect its own shots back to it or reflect the other
droids' shots back, whatever you prefer. Either way, after four hits, the tank
will finally explode.
When you reach the Chancellor, he will reveal himself to Anakin as the Dark Lord
of the Sith: Darth Sidious. Anakin wants to turn the Chancellor over to the
Council, but it turns out that if they destroy Palaptine then Anakin won't be
able to save Padm. And we all know that's bull, but Anakin isn't sure. So, he
just runs away (he's taken classes in conflict resolution).

8. Enemies & Mini-Bosses
---

A lot of the basic enemies are droids, with Jedi's and Clone Troopers in the
mix as well. I've listed them all with their weaknesses, strategies, and
locations.
Remember that if a certain enemies comes in a different color, that simply
means that they're more difficult. If they have special attributes, than I
will be sure to list them.

[CURRENTLY INCOMPLETE]
*****************************************************************************
---
9. Force Combos, Fury, and Focus Attacks
---

Here's a list of all the Force, Fury, and Focus moves you can obtain and upgrade
in the game, and what they do. (See? I do care.)
By the way, just in case you hadn't figured it out, the Fury/Focus bar is beside
you character's picture in the top left corner, the HP bar is the orange bar,
and the Force Energy bar is the light blue one.
Also, for Fury/Focus attacks, you can simply press the picture on the touch
screen when it lights up if you don't want to remember button combos.

--
9A. Force Combos
--

These attacks are performed by different R button combinations. They use up your
Force bar, but that can be replenished by getting blue orbs. Force attacks can
really help if you're being surrounded or constantly attacked by a far-away foe.
They especially help when you don't have enough Fury/Focus. They also are needed
to defeat a mini-boss at one point.
Keep in mind that all of these powers can be upgraded with Customization Points.

--ANAKIN FORCE COMBOS--

-Saber Throw
Combo: R + B
Function: Anakin will throw his lightsaber at foes.

-Absorb
Combo: R + UP
Function: Anakin will absorb enemies' health and convert it to Fury points.

-Pull
Combo: R + [desired direction]
Function: Anakin pulls enemies toward him. You can then slash them or perform
a second Force attack. Keep in mind that this move will inflict no damage
 unless it is upgraded.

-Push
Combo: R + [desired direction]
Function: Anakin pushes enemies away from him. This move won't inflict any
 damage unless upgraded.

-Rage
Combo: R + A
Function: Anakin will increase the amount of damage inflicted on enemies for a
 short period of time.

-Choke
Combo: R + DOWN
Function: Anakin will choke humans and break the circuits in droids.

--OBI-WAN FORCE COMBOS--

-Speed
Combo: R + A
Function: Obi-Wan will slow time, causing enemies to move slower.

-Heal
Combo: R + B
Function: Obi-Wan will gradually recover HP. This drains your Force bar
 quickly.

-Pull
Combo: R + [desired direction]
Function: Obi-Wan pulls enemies toward him. You can then slash them or perform
a second Force attack. Keep in mind that this move will inflict no damage
 unless it is upgraded.

-Push
Combo: R + [desired direction]
Function: Obi-Wan pushes enemies away from him. This move won't inflict any
 damage unless upgraded.

-Shield
Combo: R + UP
Function: Obi-Wan will create a temporary shield for protection.

-Mind Trick
Combo: R + DOWN
Function: Obi-Wan can utilize the legendary Jedi Mind Trick to stun enemies
 briefly.

11. Multiplayer
---

Multiplayer is basically the 3-D flight missions from the main game, but now
they're in a much larger playing map and they're dogfights. Easily one of the
best parts of the game, this multiplayer plays like Rouge Squadron and can be
enjoyed with friends or with bots, whichever your social skills agree with.
A description of each mode:

--MULTI-CARD PLAY AND FIND--

Yup, this game is Multi-Card play. Yeah, it's cruel, but at least you can coax
your friends into getting it when they see how awesome it is!
I have yet to play this mode, so I cannot give a detailed description as of yet.

--SKIRMISH--

In this mode, you can play against up to 3 bots (AI opponents). You can set
teams, change your ship's skin (black X-Wing, anybody?), and play against
legendary and new Star Wars characters such as Luke Skywalker and General
Grievous in their signature ships. Have fun by yourself!

--
11A. Maps
--

-City 1
This map has the usual fog you will find on most of the stages within the
atmosphere. It's a good stage and has lots of buildings to weave through.
One-on-one chases can get confusing here, though.

-City 2
This one's very similar to City 1, but this one has a larger area in the center
that's clear of buildings. It does include buildings everywhere else, though.

-Space 1
This area is basically a giant asteroid field. While the asteroids aren't all
that big, fights can get pretty intense here. The stage is pretty big.

-Space 2
This one is my personal favorite. It has two wrecked Star Destroyers that you
can fly into, which is great if you want to confuse your opponent, because
maneuvering in there is a bit difficult. Besides that, it has a bunch of
asteroids and is a very nice sized area. I've unlocked most of my ships here.

-Space 3
This is an interesting one. It features the asteroids and all, but this time
it has a functional Star Destroyer. Well, only its turrets work. You can take
them out or lead your opponent into their line of fire, whatever you prefer.

-Space 4
An abandoned war zone, basically. There's chunks of ships everywhere, as well
as a defeated one that's just floating there. And, yes, you can fly into the
crashed one.

-Tatooine
This desert planet was the home of Anakin and Luke Skywalker. There are lots of
rocks you can use to lure enemies into suicides. Just watch out for yourself,
as well.

-Hoth
The tundra battlefront, this area was first introduced in Episode V. Complete
with fallen Imperial Walkers, this map is a nice little stage. The snow also
makes it difficult to see.

13. FAQ
---

--GAMEPLAY QUESTIONS--

Q: How do I beat the big yellow tank?!

A: I see this question a lot on the boards and I've been e-mailed about it, too.
If you're just too lazy to check the walkthrough, here's the strategies for
Anakin and Obi-Wan:

-Anakin:

-Obi-Wan:

After deflecting the red lasers and taking out the first cannon, take out some
of the tall droids that grab you and toss their remains at the cannon with force
push. This should damage it. Keep doing this until it 'splodes. Use this method
to beat anything that comes outta that cannon.

14. Contact Information
---

First of all, I don't usually check my email much, so that should be the last
form of contact you should run to. But, if it's lengthy, I'd suggest you use
email. Otherwise, you can contact me on the Star Wars Episode III DS General
board with an ATTN message. Lastly, you can reach me through AIM. I'm always
glad to chat, but I'm not always on. But you can catch me most of the time
there usually on weekends or during the evening.
By the way, on the subject of email: I'll only answer messages with the title
(or subject) of "Star Wars Episode III DS FAQ question" or something similar.
Please read the entire guide before asking me a question or submitting
information because I won't answer questions that can be answered by reading
the file I've slaved over. But, feel free to correct, question, or just comment
me any time as long as it follows the specifications I've laid out. Also,
if you would like to borrow some information from this FAQ/Walkthrough and use
it on your own, simply ask me and--if I allow you to use some--give me credit
where credit is due.
Furthermore, if you would like to post my FAQ on you website, simply ask
politely. If you ask nicely, I might let you post it. All you have to do is
ask.
