I had no plans whatsoever on FAQing this game, but I saw the trailer 2 days before it came out and I knew I had to FAQ it no matter what. I like it so much that I put on standby the other FAQs I were writing for. This game is pretty good. The sprites are not the best, but the game design, story and music are so breathtaking that you won't be able to stop playing. To top it, even the Voice Acting is good. This game is one of the few RPGs that really know how to make good use of the dual screens, having huge enemies that take the size of both screens and flying enemies hovering above you in the other screen. Well, I hope you like both the FAQ and the game but before starting, there are some things I want to address, so please read the following paragraphs: - I'm writing this for free and because I'm falling in love with this game. If you are looking for tons of eloquent ways for me to say "move here and start a battle", you are going to be so disappointed. This guide is way, way too big to begin with, and lofty language does not help. - If you take a quick scan thru my guide, you won't find the explanations for battle basics, main menu, saving-loading, etc. Why, you ask? Well, because the game manual and in-game tutorials do a perfect job explaining the battle system. - The usage of abbreviations. When you're in my place or any who writes for GameFAQ's or any other page, writing a guide for any game of such proportions, people complain about using too many abbreviations. You have no idea how helpful abbreviations are. It also looks better in every aspect you think. - I'm writing this in my first playthrough, so I may be missing stuff. Study them well and you'll breeze through the game. M O R A L E ������������� Let's start with a simple question: Where do I see how much Morale I have? Well, in battle, see that little arrow next to your BP under your character's picture? That's where you see your Morale. -> Low Morale Whenever you have a grayish arrow pointing down, your Morale is low. What effects having Low Morale? Well, starting with Low Morale gives you only 1BP at the start of every turn, making your turns nearly useless. What gives you low Morale? Well: :: Giving your character 1 or 2 accessories that has a broken heart. :: It doesn't matter if you have 1 accessory with a broken heart and another accessory with a full heart, your Morale will still go down. -> Normal Morale You know you have this Morale with you have a green arrow pointing right. You start with this Morale. You start every turn with 2BP. Not bad. How to get Normal Morale? Well: :: Equipping 1 or 2 accessories that don't have a heart. :: Use a skill to raise your Morale. -> High Morale High Morale is shown to you with a red arrow pointing up. You start with 3BP at the start of every turn, making it easier to activate your character's special attacks. How to get High Morale? Do: :: Equip 1 or 2 accessories with a full heart. :: Use a skill to raise your Morale. ~:~:~:~ Here are some other things about Morale. :: Passing from 1 Morale to the other (Low>Normal, Normal>High, etc), it doesn't change from one battle to the other. You must fight a set of battles in order to change your Morale. :: The speed in which the Morale changes depends on the number of accessories you have equipped (getting High Morale from Normal is faster that having 2 accessories with full hearts equipped than with only 1). With this brief explanation, I hope you have a better grasp of what Morale is. B A T T L E P O I N T S ( B P ) ����������������������������������� Battle Points is the number of actions you have in a turn. The number of BP you have at the start of each turn depends on your Morale. Read the previous section about Morale. There are other things you can do in order to increase your BP: :: Get your Morale High. :: Get a 10-hit combo to get 1BP*. :: Inflict a Critical Hit**. :: Inflict a status ailment on the enemy. :: Equip an accessory that gives you 1 extra BP***. * You get 1BP every 10 hits (ie. you hit the enemy 30 times, which gives you 3BP more) ** You only get 1 extra BP for getting a Critical Hit during your turn. If you get more than 1 Critical Hit, you'll still get only 1BP. *** There are 2 items that gives you 1 extra BP B A T T L E A U T O - A B I L I T I E S ������������������������������������������� These abilities kick in whenever the requirement is met. They can kick in either at the start of the battle, when a target is hit (either you or an enemy), when a turn ends or at the end of the battle. Approach it and press A to kick it and destroy it. Continue SE and follow the path SE to find a chest with 'Lesser Tonic x2' in it. Keep proceeding N until another little scene triggers and you'll be thrown into your first true battle. They explain you about Blood and Life skills and these damn enemies will leave you critical in their first turn, so go ahead and use a Life Skill, or a Lesser Remedy you have in stock. After this critical, the Larvas will only deal 1 dmg. You'll also be told that after each battle, you'll receive XP, Gold and CP. Keep going N and at the fork, go NE to find another chest, which contains 'Stoneskin Potion x2'. Return to the fork and proceed W to find yet another fork. Go S to find a chest with 'Waterstone Shard x3' inside. Return to the fork and go N this time. Now follow this linear path, use the Heal Point, save your game and proceed to the next area. Anyway, equip the stuff he gave you and go S... <vin> Yes, I know Agni say it was to the W, but it's to the W in the world map, not from the village. Besides, going W takes us back inside Mirrorsand Grotto. Kyrie start hearing voices... where have I seen this? <vin> Yes, this reminds me of Asch and Luke from Tales of the Abyss. Soon after the scene, a battle starts. They go down with a simple combo, so there's nothing to worry about. Keep watching how Kyrie runs away from the guards and another battle will start, exactly the same as the previous battle. Keep watching the scene and Kyrie AWAKENS... <vin> Just WTF is happening to Kyrie? Looks like Rajiv and Naja appear before us. Could Kyrie do all this destruction? Not hard at all. Just attack them normally and they'll go down in a blink of an eye! The hilarious scene continues. Now go W, use the Heal Point and equip Morte with the Quip she just got, "There's more than...", which raises party's morale at the start of the battle. There's nothing in this area, so go all the way W and go down the stairs. Down here, go S and go up the next set of stairs to trigger another scene with Morte. You'll be chased by several Gaolers, and when you're cornered, another character makes his appearance -- Agan the Green... and Red. Nice, now we have 3 characters. You have to take care of 3 more Gaolers, and now that you have 3 party members, it's even easier than before. The scene continues and Rajiv will be waiting for us at the... haha, looks like they don't give a crap about him. Now it's time for... --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: RAJIV/2x FERAL SOLDIER ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ Name: Rajiv ~ HP: 350 ~ Elemental Affinity + Weak: None + Strong: None ~ Name: Feral Soldier ~ HP: 100 ~ Elemental Affinity + Weak: None + Strong: None ~ Strategy: The Feral Soldiers do little dmg. (around 1-2 dmg. per hit against Morte). They have 100 HP each so maybe Agan will kill each one in a turn. Meanwhile, have Morte and Kyrie take care of Rajiv. His attacks do hurt. He can deal up to 35 dmg. per turn, and that's on Morte. He could probably kill Kyrie in one turn. If he does kill him, revive right away with a Secret Remedy and when Agan finished the Feral Soldiers, have him attack Rajiv. Use Agan's Desert's Horn to deal over 90 dmg. per hit; and if you need to heal, use Morte's Life Skill Sanctity of Life or Kyrie's Medicinal Soup. You'll receive at the end of the battle 4,326 Gold and for Items: Lesser Elixir, Tome of Knowledge and Underdog's Tail (note that you get these items randomly). ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== Watch the scene after the battle and it's time to board the Sea Gale. We don't do much in the Sea Gale, except to watch a scene and steal 2 Sand Riders from a buddy. <vin> Man, game is just getting better and better. =) During the break in the Sandsea, Kyrie learns a new Quip. Also, looks like Kyrie is falling for Morte. Quip to increase DEF after taking dmg. in battle. Now exit this room and go W and before going down the stairs, enter the upper room (where there's a Feral) and prepare to fight him. Not hard at all, just attack and attack until it's finished. He'll turn out the alarm... wow. <vin> Take extreme caution against the enemies in this area. They can be tough and they mostly gang up on one character. They can do from 8 dmg. all the way to 40 dmg. per enemy. If there are 3 enemies, pray to god to not get ganged on only 1 character. Exit this room and now go down the stairs... <vin> Before you leave, there's a person that has a store in the room N of the one you started in. Just in case you need healing items, come here ASAP. ... and in the Lower Deck, enter the lower W room (the one with a Feral), defeat him (he's alone) and you'll receive 'Storeroom Key'. Now enter the lower left room and check box with green stuff in it to find 'Treasure Room Key'. Now go to the upper right room and use the Storeroom Key to open up the room. Check out the pink bag to find '1000G'. Now enter the top left one (the one on top of the room with the Feral) and check the barrels on the S part of the room to find 'Cat's Paw'. Now return up the stairs to the previous area, use the Heal Point in this area. Return to where the stairs are and enter the bottom left room (the one next to the Feral) to find a chest with 'Secret Remedy x3' in it. Now exit this room and enter the N locked room. Look on the left side to find 'Lesser Tonic x3'. In the room with the salesman person, go to the E, open the door and enter the lower left room (right S of the stairs) and check the barrels to find 'Smoke Bomb x3'... <vin> If you fight Bodyguards in these areas, they may drop Heat Edges, a weapon for Kyrie and Leather Cuirasses, an armor for Morte. Return to the hallway and go W and open the door at the end with the Treasure Room Key. Inside, grab 'Purple Amulet' and 'Steel Amulet' from the chests. Return and go up the large stairs at the E side of the area. A little scene triggers as you get out of the ship. You'll have to defeat 2 Bodyguards, which are the same as the Lookout, only that a different color and a little bit stronger. The scene continues and you'll have to fight more Bodyguard as you proceed. You trigger a scene as you enter the Bridge with Felis Rex, the captain of the ship. Morte also learns a new Quip. Now a stuffed animal start talking and tries to kill Kyrie. After all the talk, we need to retrieve a sample of silverine plus Taupy (the stuffed animal) learns a new Quip plus joins the party. Before departing, another girl appears out of nowhere and starts talking with Kyrie. She's Lady Rhi'a. <vin> Haha, Felis Rex's name is Meow... XD! Now return to the fork at the beginning and go E this time. When you reach another fork, go S to find a blue dais. Examine it and place the Water Stone. Now the Blue Mist is gone. Return to the fork at the beginning once again and this time, go W and S at the next fork to find a chest that contains 'Zweihander'. Return to the previous fork and go N to find a building... enter it. Follow the path and when you find yourself in a forking path, go N to find several coffins. Search the NW one (yellow coffin) to find 'Book of Arms'. Keep going N and grab the red stone that's on the coffin, which is the 'Fire Stone'. You'll be locked in this room if you grab it. Haha, you still can't grab it =P. Leave it there and return to the entrance. Go E at the fork and when you get to a fork, go N to find a chest with 'Metal Knuckles' in it. Now go S from the fork to find yet another chest, only that it has '200G' in it. Now go W from the fork to find some more coffins. Check the NW coffin to find 'Book of Mind'. Keep following the path E to find 'Air Stone'. Now return to where the Fire Stone is, take it and place the Air Stone in its place. Now return to the fork in the entrance and go W from the fork and when you get to a room with coffins and a path going N and another one going S, go S to find a chest with 'Antidote x5' in it... <vin> This place is swarming with parties of Brigands and Broken Fists. You may want to fight several Broken Arms to obtain an Assassin's Edge, which has 10 ATK more than Survival Knife plus gives you AGL +3. ... return to the fork and go N to find the red dais. Examine it and place the Fire Stone on it to remove the Red Mist. Now exit the Undercroft, go E towards all the way and go N at the end to find a Heal Point. Oh goody. This boss is not that hard, but it's annoying because most of your Physical attacks won't do any good to it. Instead, have Kyrie use Toadstool Salad all the battle, Morte her Molotov Cocktail and Taupy his Sonic Strike. Venomfin will go down rather quickly if your 3 characters are attacking him nonstop with their Blood Skills. Now you'll be back with Meow automatically. He'll hand over '1000G' as a reward for finding it. Now we need to go get a blue rose. Now let's go meet with a Smithy, which strengthens our weapons. Go to the E side of section and enter the building with the Hammer icon. What you can do here is imbue your weapons in stock (not the ones equipped) with materials you've found (use a Red Ore to have the weapon deal Fire dmg.). Also, you can extract material from the weapons in stock to receive the Material (you can extract a Red Ore from an Heat Edge for example). Do any customization you want to make, although I'd recommend you to wait to find better materials and weapons. Then save your game and approach the NE crowd to trigger a scene. During this scene, Taupy learns a new Quip. Since Ice is what takes most HP, use Taupy's Icy Strike and Morte's Blizzard. Porcus has a vulnerability against Stun, so use Kyrie's Numbing Broth to gain a lot of turns for each one of his. Also, it's very easy to delay Porcus' turns with Taupy's Icy Strike, so keep using it through the whole battle while you have Kyrie (who should be the most useless character in this battle) uses Lesser Tonics to keep the SP up. Whenever you see that Porcus sits and opens up the mouth in its' stomach, stop the Skills and start using physical attacks until you break his defense. Keep using Ice skills and Kyrie to heal to end this battle quickly. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== Watch the scene after the battle. From where we're left, check the General Store to the N of you, which still has the same crap and go N to the Shopping Arcade. Go to the Armorer on the E side of the area and buy: Hard Leather Vest for Kyrie, a Hardened Cuirass for Morte and a Meteor Bandana for Taupy. Leave the shop and go N to find the Arsenal. If you're lucky, you can find Assassin's Edges here, as well as the rare Reaper Gloves. If not, then buy Combat Knife for Kyrie, Claymore for Morte and Hammer Knuckles for Taupy. These are some serious upgrades, which I love =). <vin> The Metal Knuckles you found in Fallenmire give you extra AGL, ACC, EVA but has 17 ATK points less than the Hammer Knuckles. Think very carefully of what you want. I personally chose to keep my Metal Knuckles. Use the Smithy in the area if you want/need to and return to Azure Square. Go SE this time to find a chest at the end that contains 'Tome of Secrets x2'. Use them right away. You need all the CP you can get. Return to the previous fork and go S this time. Cross the bridge and when you find yourself in a fork, go to the E to find 'Lesser Tonic x5'. Return, go S and at the next fork, go W then S to find 'Lesser Remedy x10'. Return 2 forks and go S this time. Now use the Heal Point and let us proceed deeper into the Garden in search of the Blue Rose. Go N into the Irrigation Tunnel and you'll find 2 exits. Enter the one on the right and out here, enter the one on the S and you'll find 4 more exits. Enter the first one of the 3 on the upper part and follow it to find 'Ice Blade' at the end. Equip it right away to Morte and return to the area with the 4 exits. Enter the one on the right (upper middle one) and in the N/S fork, go S and you'll find another room with several exits. Follow the SW one and you'll come across a chest with 'Windproof Coat' in it. Go to the right to return to the second multiforking path. Go N and in the N/W fork, go N and follow it. First of all, dispose of the Feral Soldier. We don't want anyone to bother us while battling Naja and Rajiv. Once the Feral Soldier is down, focus yourself in Rajiv. Have Taupy use Icy Strike or Sonic Strike to deal over 190 dmg. to Rajiv. You can put him to sleep with Kyrie's Sleeproot Saut� Skill. Have Morte follow Taupy and use Blizzard to deal dmg. to both enemies. Naja's most powerful attack is Cry Wolf, which deals between 25-40 dmg. to all party members. As you can see, this battle is not hard at all. Naja tends to use Cry Wolf more often when Rajiv is down, so be really careful and use Kyrie's Medicinal Soup constantly whenever needed. After the scene with the Chief, Morte learns one more Quip. We finally have Meow's cooperation to go to Sky Gaol, but isn't that where Agan is? Before leaving, return inside the Chief's Hut, go to the left room and examine the shelf on the left to find 'Sand King's Turban'. Exit and go E towards the shopping area. Next to the Arsenal is a man. Talk to him and he'll talk with Morte about the Nameless Sword you're carrying about. He'll make you a better sword for Green Ore x20. We don't have that much yet, so that'll have to wait. Now enter the Arsenal and you'll find some really sweet things in here. Buy the following: Bush Knife for Kyrie, Whaleslayer for Morte and Dragon Knuckles for Taupy. The Armorer has some good armor that protects against every element. Buy if you want to and return to Meow. Run alongside the path and enter the second room to your N. Go straight and talk to the prisoner. He'll ask a favor of you and give you 'Pendant'. Time to take this baby to her baby =P. Now return to the previous area and enter the last room to your right. Talk to the prisoner in here and he'll hand over 'Letter'. He tells you to deliver it to another prisoner 2 cells away. Follow the path and give the letter to the next prisoner you see. He'll take the letter and give you another 'Letter'. Now leave the room to the SE, follow the path and enter the next area. The prisoner in here tells you that Agan (man in green coat) was dragged down the ladder, so we must go in the right direction. Go down the ladder and exit down here to reach Gaol Parameter. You can go either N or S from here. Go N, enter Middle Cellblock 1 and talk to the first prisoner you come across (directly to the N when you enter). Hand over the Letter you had for him and he'll hand over 'Letter'. Time to take this to a girl down below. DO NOT GO W! You'll fall to Lower Cellblock 1. We'll get there in due time, but for now, return to the N/S fork, go S and enter the Middle Cellblock 2. Go down the ladder in here to reach the lower levels. Follow the path E and when you get to the Gaol Perimeter, go N and enter the first room to E. Talk to the person in the corner to give the Letter away. She'll then give you another 'Letter'. Return to the Gaol Perimeter and go N this time. This is the area where you would've felled from before. Simple go N then W and S to reach the other side of Gaol Perimeter. Enter the last room to the room, Lower Cellblock 1. Go to the end and talk to the prisoner before the ladder to receive 'Small Package'. Now go up the ladder and follow the path. Talk to the old man before leaving and he'll give you 'Note'. Go to the end of the path (you'll be in the same area where the hole in the ground is) and talk to the guy near the hole to give him the Note. He'll then give you another 'Note'. He tells you to fall down the hole. Do so. It's the fastest way to get there. Go E from where you start, then go N at the fork. Talk to the lady down here to give her the Note. She'll give you 'Sand Rabbit's Loss'... <vin> Finally, our first accessory. It doubles the Gold obtained through battle, but it has a broken heart. No one in the party can equip with without having their Morale lowered, and we don't want that at this point. Go S and return to the Gaol Perimeter. Go S and enter the next room. Talk to the first man in this room to give him the Small Package. He'll hand over another 'Small Package'. Let's go give away this package, shall we? Return outside, go N and follow the path to get to the other side of Gaol Perimeter. Enter the last room to the W and go to the end of the path and talk to the old man (before the ladder). Give him the Small Package you just got and he'll give you 'Secret Recipe'... <vin> This baby will give you twice as much CP to the equipped character. Only Kyrie has a full heart, meaning that he'll have a Morale Boost as the battles progresses. Now return to the previous Gaol Perimeter, enter the last room and follow the path until you reach the next Gaol Perimeter. Enter the S most room (where the ladder going up is) and exit to the other Gaol Perimeter. Follow the path until you reach the next Gaol Perimeter. Enter the next room (quite long, to be honest) and talk to the first prisoner you come across (old man). Hand over the Letter. He'll hand over 'Letter', and we'll give that one away in a bit... <vin> Read the following only if you want to deliver the remaining letters to receive a Hero's Badge, otherwise, continue reading from ~~~. Return to the beginning of the dungeon and in the first Gaol Perimeter, enter the W most room, go N in here, go down the ladder and talk to the red=haired man here to give him the letter. He now hands over another 'Letter'. Return to the Gaol Perimeter, follow the path and when you get to the Gaol Perimeter in the middle floor, go N and follow the path until you fall down. Down here, go S and in the Gaol Perimeter, go W and enter the first room to the N. Give this lone man the Letter and he'll give another damn 'Letter'. Hehe... return all the way to the entrance and in the first Gaol Perimeter, enter the W most room once again and talk to the first prisoner here to hand over the Letter. He'll give you 'Hero's Badge'. Nice. Now return to where the old man handed over the Letter. ~~~ Now follow the path all the way to the end and go up the ladder to the upper floor. Up here, simply follow the path until you get to the next Gaol Perimeter. Enter the N room, go up the ladder and up here, talk to the woman to give her the Pendant. She'll give you 'Vanguard Wing'. Leave the room towards the Gaol Perimeter and enter the next room. Use the Heal Point (I bet you need it) and go S to trigger a scene with Rajiv, Naja and Agan. He may have 2 moves per each one of yours. Whenever he uses an attack that hits the hole party, use healing Skills to completely recover the party. Lupus Rex, on his first turn, he'll probably use Battle Boost II twice to attack all party members for around 65 dmg. He also has Spark III, which is like Rajiv's Aero III. Basically, he's just like Rajiv, only that with more HP and a little bit stronger, so the same strategy applies here. He also has Voice of Chains, which attacks all party members plus it can inflict Stun on all of them, which is a real pain in the ass. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== During the scene, Agan learns a new Quip, which is always good. When you regain control, return to the entrance of the dungeon and in the Gaol Perimeter near the Zifnir, go and talk to the man that gave you the Pendant (second room to the N). He'll thank you and give you 'Rearguard Wing' as a reward. The only annoying thing about them is that they use Heal I, but that shouldn't be a problem since you should be able to defeat them in 1 turn. After the battle, the man hands over 'Lever Key 1'. Now proceed N to the next Irrigation Tunnel. There are 3 more exits here. Enter the one right next to you (on your left) and open the chest out here to find 'Cragblade'. Return and enter the next one to the N. Out here, go N and in the Irrigation Tunnel, go N once again and follow the passage to the S. You'll come to 3 more exits. The first and third one lead no nothingness, so take the middle path and another little scene will trigger. Time to fight more Sentries. Kill then to rescue another captive. He'll hand over 'Lever Key 3'. Now go S and enter the Irrigation Tunnel to find a chest with 'Bloody Bandana' in it. Return 3 screens and in the Irrigation Tunnel with the N/W/E fork, go W this time to find an area with tons of exits. Go directly S, enter the Irrigation Tunnel and follow the path to find 'Orange Amulet' in a chest. Return to the large area and enter the tunnel to the NE (the last one in the corner). From the fork in the Tunnel, go E to trigger a little scene and another battle with some Sentries. You'll find the last kid and this one will give you 'Lever Key 2'. Return to the large and enter the tunnel to the S (where the person is outside). Follow the long path and when you get to a Heal Point, enter the first exit on your upper right and open the chest to find 'Reserve Ring'. Equip it on whoever is in the reserve party (Taupy in my case) to have him gain normal XP instead of half. Sweet. Now return to the Heal Point. Enter the upper middle one to find a lever. Use the Lever Key 1 to lower the lever. 2 more to go. Return to the Heal Point and enter the upper left one. Use the Lever Key 3 to lower the lever. Return to the Heal Point once again and enter the W exit. Use the Lever Key 2 to finally lower the bridge. Return to the Heal Point one last time, use it and go N the upper left exit. Go to the next area just to enter a... --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: RANA REX ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ HP: ~9,200 ~ CP: 66 ~ Items: None ~ Elemental Affinity + Weak: Earth + Strong: Ice ~ Strategy: Rana Rex is pretty easy, even though it has a ton of HP -- and more if you bring Taupy instead of Agan like I did the first time. Yes, Rana Rex has over 9,000 HP, which almost doubles Lupus Rex's HP. Let me name the attacks. He has Spark II, which is a strong Air-elemental attack to 1 character for 34~62 dmg. He has a combo attack for 9 hits (which usually do 1 dmg. per hit) and can inflict Venom, so cure it ASAP with Antidotes and/or Kyrie's Life Skill. He also has Bad Breath, which deals 35~40 dmg. to all characters, plus it can inflict Stun to all. Use Kyrie's Medicinal Soup to heal some HP and cure Stun. Another and most annoying attack, Sleep Gas, which has 100% accuracy to inflict Sleep on all 3 characters. I hope you have enough HP, because after this attack, he'll have several turns ahead of you, so he can deal quite the dmg. Just like Lupus Rex, he has Battle Boost II, which he'll use his Follow-up attack to inflict heavy dmg. to all 3 characters (between 50~80 dmg.). Just try to keep your HP over 80 and you'll be fine. Not worth it in my opinion. Now go N, up the stairs and in the 4th floor, grab the chest to the E to find 'Blaze Gun'. Return to the entrance of the Tower and examine the red switch. This will make the bridge on the W side move to the E. Go NE all the way (ignore the bridge for now) and at the end of the semicircular hallway, push the pillar into the water. Return to where the bridge is, cross it and go S to open a chest with 'Lifebringer'... <vin> This sword reduces your ATK by 16, but increases HP 10%, which should be around 21 HP. Not worth it at all. It's good to take to the Smithy for the Material, though. Now go N and up the stairs to the 4th floor. Down here, follow the path S and grab 'Silver Amulet' on the E. Now return to the entrance, hit the red switch once again and return to where you got the Silver Amulet. Now a bridge should be here at the S side -- so cross it and go up the stairs at the end of the path to get to the 5th floor. There are to paths, the outer path and the inner path. Go to the N side on the inner path to find a chest with 'Flask of Wonder' in it. Now go to the E side of the inner path to trigger a little scene and then you'll trigger a... --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: AZURE SEA ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ HP: ~17,000 ~ CP: 123 ~ Items: None ~ Elemental Affinity + Weak: Earth + Strong: Water, Air, Fire ~ Strategy: Alrighty, we have to targets. Focus on the body first. If you already have your Flurries chained, Kyrie will be doing over 550 dmg. Have Morte use Army of Me in the first turn she gets so she can deal massive dmg. Make sure you bring into the battle Kyrie, Morte and Taupy. We need Taupy's Second Wind just in case any character dies, Taupy can revive him/her. Don't even bother inflicting status ailments nor using skills, as most of them as useless against him. For Azure Sea's attacks, he has Bolt of Lightning, which is Air dmg. to one character that deals 36~120 dmg. He likes to use it twice in a row and on the same character. What a pain. Purifying Rain, deals 20~30 dmg. to the entire party. Water III is another pain. It deals 45~63 dmg., so heal up right as you can. After you deal around 6,500 dmg. to the body, he'll go underwater and only raise the head. He now has more attacks. He has Tempest, which is basically Bolt of Lightning, only that it hurts all the party. Take extreme caution fighting only the head, as it has the tendency to attack and attack and attack the same character over and over until he uses his follow-up attack that deals 50~85 dmg. to all characters. He also starts using Healing Boost, which is practically Regen and heals around 400 each of his turns. What a pain man. Basically, this is an endurance fight. He heals a lot, and you should too with one of your BP. Break it, return W once, N once... <vin> This is where the Pink Flower Barrier was, blocking the W side. ... and go E once... <vin> This is where the Blue Flower Barrier was, blocking the E side. ... go E two more times, then N to find a White Crystal Pillar. Break it and now it's time to go find where the White Flower Barrier was. Go S once, and 5 times W (until you can no more). Then go N once... <vin> This is where the White Flower Barrier was, blocking the N side. ... and N once more. From the fork, go E twice, N once and E once more to find Rhi'a. She joins the party. Nice. Now go N until you enter the Chamber of Knights. This part is easy and fast. Start by going W and at the corner, go S (do not enter the maze just yet). Use the Heal Point if needed and go to the SW corner to find Taupy. He'll say some things to you and rejoin the party. The way this works is: when you enter the mirror, you appear 2 spaces to the front and 1 to the right. Simply follow this pattern: go into the red, red again, red once more, yellow, yellow again, yellow once more, enter the SW blue mirror and last green. You'll find Agan in here. Nice. Once he rejoins the party, go N and enter the gate. You're now in the Hall of Illusion. Use the Heal Point, save your game and simply go N to trigger a scene with Morte. Also, Serpens Rex makes its appearance. After the scene, guess what comes. Not because of her HP, nor the dmg., but because she can confuse you, killing Morte (most probably). Simply use Flurry attacks with Rhi'a, Taupy and Kyrie, but do not use Special attacks, since you'll be attacking Morte too. Whenever you need healing, use whoever you can to heal up. Whatever you do, DO NOT attack Morte. As for attacks, she has Demon's Soul, which deals 35~60 dmg. plus it can Confuse you. Nice. He also has Shadow III, which deals 30~70 dmg. to a single character. Temptation deals dmg. to your party, plus it can confuse you too. She doesn't deal that much dmg. (well, in comparison to Azure Sea), but when she confuses you, use Kyrie's Medicinal Soup to cure it. Demon Stench deals 50~ 70 dmg. to all the party, so heal up afterwards. She has other attacks, but they're the same and can inflict Confuse, so that's your number 1 preoccupation. Taupy's Second Wind comes in real handy. If you have 2 characters dead (I had Rhi'a and Kyrie dead and Taupy with 3HP o_O), use it to gain full strength and beat the crap out of Serpens Rex. She also has an attack in which physical attacks won't hurt her, so use Air-elemental Blood Skills to take her out. From this fork, go S a little bit, W at the next one and N at the next fork. You'll be in another fork. Follow it W, then W at the next one and in the N/S fork, go S, jump down the platform at the end and open the chest to find 'Lesser Tonic x5'. From down here, go N and NW at the fork. At the top fork, go W and at the N/S fork, go N this time, E at the next fork and at the fork with a jumping platform, go N and check the upper path to find 'Tome of Knowledge x4' in a chest. Return to the previous fork, go E down the platform, and follow the path until you come to another platform. Drop down this one and when you get to the fork, go S, then E at the next one. Skip the next fork as it'll take you to the beginning of the area and go E then N to find a lone chest with 'Water of Health x4' in it. Return and go N to leave Tanner Plateau. The next set of stairs has the Armorer and Arsenal. The only thing worth buying in the Arsenal is Agan's Nine Tails. In the Armorer, you can buy Silver Vest and Silver Cuirasses for whoever needs them. Return outside and go up the third and last set of stairs to enter the Noble Quarter. Follow the path and when you reach the plaza, a scene triggers. You'll now be in a set of battles with Feral Soldiers and Feral Officers. They're pretty weak. They're strongest attack is the Feral Officer's Storm III, which deals 17~25 dmg. to all characters. After the 4th fight, Kyrie and Morte leave the party, so you'll have to stick with Rhi'a, Taupy and Agan. When the menu pops up, heal up, make sure you're well equipped and when you exit the menu, Agan learns a new Quip. You'll fight some more Feral Soldiers and after this first fight, Rhi'a learns a new Quip =). After some battles, Kyrie and Morte reach Aquila Rex and the menu opens. This can only mean one thing. Heal up, use any CP you have, make sure you have your Flurries 1~3 are chained and prepare for a... --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: AQUILA REX ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ HP: ~3,800 ~ CP: 140 ~ Items: None ~ Elemental Affinity + Weak: Earth + Strong: Air ~ Strategy: Aquila Rex is actually quite hard, since you only have Morte and Kyrie for battle. He's in the air, so no combos from your Flurries. Dammit. Kyrie should easily get to 6 BP in every turn. Just use your Air Flurry with him to deal 250+ dmg. per Air Flurry, so with 4 you do in 1 turn takes around 1/4 of his health. The physical attacks deal around 0~1 dmg. to Kyrie. Seriously. His other attacks deal around 50 dmg. His special attack deals between 0~5 dmg. If Morte dies on you, don't even worry on reviving her. She has low DEF and Aquila Rex likes to attack her whether she has War Paint on or not. If you want, you could try to use a Stoneskin Potion to increase Morte's DEF, but if she keeps dying, just let her dead. As for attacks, he has Godspeed, which increases drastically his SPD. Feather Shot deals around 45~55 dmg. to one character. Wind III does 50~65 dmg. to one character. Storm II does 15~20 dmg. to both characters. What you should be worried about is its physical attack that deals 120~150 per hit and he likes to use it twice in a row in the same character -- that means almost always if not always a KO. Taupy's Second Wind works wonders in this battle. That's about it. This boss really doesn't do much. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== From where we're left after the battle, go W to find a chest with 'Gaia Knuckles' inside. Return to the fork at the entrance, go W and up the stairs... <vin> You can fight some Neophyte Scholars to have them drop Mystic Robes, which suck, but it's good Gold and has an awesome effect, Major SP Shield, which restores SP as you're damaged. ... save your game and proceed to trigger another scene. When prompted, strike the boulder to trigger another Boss. It's the same as the previous one, only that this one has ~5,000 HP, gives 13 CP and is weak to Fire. As you proceed around and before going up the stairs, you come across another strange pillar/arm. It's the same as before -- it has the same HP and weakness but gives 11 CP. Now go up the stairs to fall down... XD. Yep. As you go to the central area, another Strange Boulder is here. It's the same as the first one and also has a bit more HP than the previous ones. Once you're done, you'll see a hole to your left. Do not fall down it. Instead, grab the chest next to it to find 'Psyshooter'. Not worth equipping it. Now fall down the NE hole (not the one next to the chest), and down here, press the red switch N of you. Afterwards, return to where you found the 2 holes to find it a bit different. Use the Heal Point, save your game and go N to trigger a scene with Golden Earth, the Primal Lord. After some chat, we enter... --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: GOLDEN EARTH ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ HP: ~15,500 ~ CP: 53 ~ Items: Golden Stone ~ Elemental Affinity + Weak: Air + Strong: Earth ~ Strategy: Ok, the second Primal Lord. He's not as though as Azure Sea, but he's still not an enemy to underestimate. I really recommend bringing Rhi'a and Taupy in this battle. Taupy, besides being an excellent physical attacker, he has Second Wind and that saves us from using items and ending out turns. Rhi'a, if you have her 3 Flurry attacks chained, and Blaze Gun, you'll be dealing 2,700+ dmg. per attack. As of its attacks, he has Clay III, which deals 50~80 dmg. to one character. His physical attack deals around 70 dmg. which is not bad. Rock II deals around 30 dmg. per character. Try to heal every turn, since we want out HP high. His special attack is the dangerous one. It can deal all the way from 80 dmg. to a whopping 215 dmg. Make sure to heal after this. These are all of his attacks, and he likes to combo 2 or 3 Clay III on one character in the same turn, so please keep your HP up. When he's almost dead (around 14,000 dmg.), he'll gain Untiring Defense, which makes your attacks hit for 5~10 per hit. That sucks. Just keep attacking and healing until it dissipates or he dies. Flozemz Liquid tells me that if you don't fight the Strange Boulders (Arms and Torso) through the Tower, the battle will be a lot easier (I'm guessing you have to fight all of them together). ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== Watch the scene after the battle. There's one move that Elephas Rex has where he puts up a shield where you practically do nothing to him (around 0~9 dmg. per hit). Just keep attacking and healing until it dissipates. The good thing is that he doesn't have a ton of turns like the previous bosses. His physical attack deals 40~70 dmg. per hit. He has Clay III, which deals 45~60 dmg. to one character. He has Grand Guise, which adds DEF and Regen that heals for 400+. Just like Azure Sea... what a pain! Follow the W most path to find a chest with 'Martial Bandana' inside. Now go down the path on your E (the one right next to you) and break the Black Crystal Pillar. Now one of the holes turns into a path. Nice. Return to the entrance and follow the E most path to find another Black Crystal Pillar. Break it too. Return to the entrance and go down the portal. From the fork, go N and activate the switch. Return S, go S the third fork, then E and activate the switch. Now return to the portal and use it to reach the second floor. Follow the path W until you reach the purple square in the map. Break the Black Crystal Pillar to make another hole filled. Now return down the portal. We now need to activate all 4 switches. Start with the one you previously turned off [2/4], now go all the way W, then N all the way and activate the switch [3/4]. Go S a bit and go E and activate the last switch [4/4]. Now go and use the portal. A scene triggers as you enter the portal. There's no way to revive Kyrie, or so says Crimson Sun. Now Kyrie revives and... haha, the scene is not what I was expecting!!! She also learns a new Quip. Exit and reenter once more and have Rhi'a get 'Frilled Dress' and she'll send over something to Meow. This is all there is to it now. This is to get Rhi'a's Best Armor, but we can't get it yet. Now go to Viteau and go to the Armor Shop and do you remember that the seller sold you a coat for 10,000 G? Well, go here again and buy both coats 'Keen Tailored Coat' and 'Nice Tailored Coat' that cost 20,000 G and 40,000 G a piece. Buy both. This is also to get Agan's Best Armor. I had to do this in a different section because these are the Best Armors, so you could be aware of where to get them. This is the Tower of Light. You'll start at the entrance of the Tower, so just go to the portal on the E (there are no blue obstacles blocking your way) and go up the portal. Back in the Depths of Memory, go all the way N, ignore the door on the W and E and in the N hallway, the 3 room on the N side are shops. The Armorer sells some cool stuff, but quite expensive. Enter the purple room on the S side of this hall (the room on the right). <vin> Please... PLEASE!!! Buy the Sonic Heels for Rhi'a! You'll totally need them for the next battle, unless you wanna use the Sirius Shoes that has a broken heart. You're now in Lyse. Just exit to the N and we're back. Go S the W hallway, ignore the rooms and when you get to the next hallway (after passing that thing that blackouts the screen), enter the first purple room to the N (the one on the left). This is the Valley of Dragons. Walk to the end of it and exit the area (like going to the Crevasse). A scene about Rhi'a triggers. Once back to the Depths, go W across the blackout area and in this hallway, enter the first purple room on the W side. We're in the Tower of Earth. Just go up the stairs to exit this area. Back at the Depths. Go to the N hallway (where the stores are), then go to the E hallway and enter the N most purple room on your left. This is Mechto. Go to the end of the path and go to the next area to trigger a scene of Naja. Back at the Depths. Go all the way to the S hallway (where you started) and enter the only purple room down here to enter Azure Tower. Just go W and up the stairs to return to the Depths. Return to the N hallway, go to the W hallway and enter the top W purple room. This is the Caravan now. Leave after the scene to trigger another scene, with Agan this time. Now, follow the path S, past the blackout and enter the last purple room you come across (the room just before the Heal Point on the W inner hallway). This is Viteau. After the scene, go S, exit Viteau to trigger a scene, with Taupy this time. Once it's over, return from whence you came and enter the purple room you come across (on the E side of the E inner hallway). We're now in Galoa. Now leave this place. Return to the N hallway (where the stores are) and go to the E hallway. You'll see 3 purple rooms in this hallway. We already entered the top W one and the lower E one. So now enter the middle W one to get to Agi. Watch the scene and exit this place. Now go to the W hallway and from the 3 W purple rooms, enter the middle one to arrive at the Zetska Manor. After the scene, leave this place. Since we're near the blackout, go S, go past it and enter the second purple room to the N in this hallway. This is Barni. After the scene, exit this place to trigger a scene, with Kyrie this time. He learns a new Quip. Now we'll be exactly outside a green gate. Use the Heal Point behind you, save your game and... <vin> Please read the Boss strategy before proceeding. You really need to make some preparations because the next boss is a bitch... literally. go through the green gate to trigger a scene, with Morte this time. Kyrie learns yet another Quip. Make sure to equip Rhi'a and Taupy an accessory to increase AGL: Sonic Heels, Speed Shoes or Sirius Shoes (although it has a broken heart) so they get the first turns. In her first turn, have her use Crystal Voice to cancel his damn uppercuts that is an Air Follow-up combo plus leaves him in the air. If you have 3 BP, use another one to use Alluring Voice to cast Regen. Now use the last BP to attack. Probably Noctua Rex will have a turn at this point. Now, if Taupy is next, have him use both True Faith and Pride's Fang to increase ATK and DEF of the party. With this, we are now prepared to battle. Note that all dmg. calculations will be based on your party having True Faith on. For his attacks, he has his physical attacks that deal now around 10~15 dmg. per hit [it used to hit for 30~45 per hit. and it was almost a KO]. He also has Nightmare which deals 15~30 dmg. to all characters. The rest of his attacks deal around 30 dmg. max to either 1 or all characters. With what you did in the beginning of the battle, you made the battle a lot more easier. You won't have a problem with this battle. Return to the previous fork, go N and up the stairs to the 3rd floor. Go E from the fork, go E, press the switch at the end, return to the fork, go W and drop down the ice pillar. Now return downstairs and you'll see that an ice path is created on the W. Follow it and go up the stairs right away. From the fork, go W and drop down the ice pillar at the end. You need to attack her at least 10 times to dissipate her shield and do some good dmg. Her attacks. Her physical attack does 20~25 dmg. per hit... and she hits you 17 times! That's around 360 dmg. WTF!!! Lulling Zephyr does little dmg., around 5 dmg. to all characters, but it can put you to sleep, so that's no good at all. Ill Wind does random dmg. It can do from 50 dmg. all the way to 379 dmg. (yeah, my Kyrie received that amount of dmg.) But that's not the worse part. When she uses Ill Wind, her wind shield goes back up, so yeah, that's not good at all. Netherworld is another of her attacks. The good thing is that it drops Rare Metal Armor, which has the ability [Lessen Physical] that obviously lessens Physical dmg. and has 110 DEF. I recommend equipping it on Taupy if you're using him as its most probably he's the character with less DEF in the team. ... return to The 11th Hour room, use the blue lever once to make it 10 o'clock. Now use the red lever to make it 8 o'clock. Enter The 8th Hour room to find 'Lever Shaft'. Return to The 11th Hour room, use the blue lever once to have 11 o'clock, then use the red lever 3 times to have 5 o'clock. Enter The 5th Hour room to find a chest that has 'Craftsman's Ring' inside. Cannon II does 50 dmg. to all characters while Cannon III does 100 dmg. to the whole party. You can run from this battle, so if you wanna run from them, I recommend taking Agan with his Quip to escape the battles in an instant. Watch the scene after the battle and follow the path N to find a portal. Enter it. Here at the Orange Heart, there are 4 portals. Follow the path W, then N, then S and enter the SW portal to reach Yellow Genesis. Go all the way to the N of the area to where the green portal is and before taking that green one, go W and enter the red one. You'll be briefly back at Red Dawn just to grab 'Herculean Ring' from the chest... <vin> One of the best accessories in the game. Increases every attribute during battle, so equip it on whoever you prefer [I chose Rhi'a since she's my favorite character] ... now return to the Yellow Genesis, go all the way N again and take the green portal to enter Green Harmony. In here, go around the spiral and enter the middle cyan portal to get to Blue Wisdom. There's a 7-path fork in this area. Follow the W path and take the green portal. Grab 'Platinum Amulet' from the chest here in the Green Harmony and return to Blue Wisdom. Now follow the S path and take the blue portal to reach Indigo Bonds. In here, go to the N side of the area and enter the only middle cyan portal to return to Blue Wisdom and find the last chest of the area that contains 'Warrior's Ring'. Equip this one right away and return to Indigo Bonds. Locate the 2 portals on the W side and take the N purple one to Violet Dusk. Use the Heal Point, save your game and approach the center area to trigger a scene, Rhi'a learns a new Quip and a... --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: LACERTUS REX ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ HP: ~14,000 ~ CP: 136 ~ Items: Cube of Destruction ~ Elemental Affinity + Weak: None + Strong: Fire ~ Strategy: Oh boy, he's the real one this time. Make sure that Rhi'a casts Crystal Voice ASAP, and Taupy True Faith and Pride's Fang. We need all the DEF and ATK that we can get. Keep yourself healed at all times. Try to keep your HP full because if he boosts his ATK and you don't have Taupy's True Faith on, it'll most probably kill you. Kyrie's Gift of Life and Taupy's Second Wind are a great help keeping your party alive, but if you need to use a Flask of Wonder, go on ahead and use it. As a matter of fact, it's best if you have Taupy cast True Faith and Pride's Fang every turn, and have Rhi'a cast Crystal Voice. Lacertus' attacks. His physical attacks deal 50~70 dmg. to one character. His special attack deals 70~120 dmg. to the whole party. Azure Sea, Jade Zephyr and Golden Earth deal the same amount of dmg. (20~60) but of their corresponding element [Water, Air and Earth]. Divine Arsenal deals 400 dmg. to 1 character. Watch out for his Jade Zephyr attack, because it can both Poison you and Blind you, so you won't be able to use skills, which are the most important thing in this battle. He also likes to use Blade Ward, which nullifies physical attacks. What a pain. Use Blood Skills until it wears off. He can also increase his attack power, his speed, defense, cast Regen on himself and nullify elemental dmg. Press it, return to the E side of the area (where the orange switch is) and follow the NW path all the way to the NW corner to find the blue switch. Press it, return to the orange switch and press it. Now go N to the next area. Here's where the door was blocked. Here in Block 8, simply go N and use the portal to get to Block 15. Here, take the portal to Block 15. Use the portal at the N side to get to Block 23. Go to the N end of the area to trigger a scene. Examine the control panel and return all the way to Block 4 (where we started). from here, go W a little bit (where the coffin-things are) and examine the second one from the top (red one). You'll receive 'Rectangular Module 1'. Return to the fork and go E and check the red coffin to receive 'Rectangular Module 2'. Return to the fork in front of the green switch and check the coffins on both sides (the red ones, remember) to find 'Rectangular Module 3' and 'Rectangular Module 4'. Now that we have all 4 Rectangular Modules, return to Block 23 and insert them. Now we need to unlock the diamond lock. Return to Block 15 and use the E portal to get to Block 42. Examine the control panel and once again, return to Block 4. From the fork, the first coffin S of you is shinning. Check it to find 'Diamond Module 1'. Now go to the SE orange switch and go SW a bit to find in the coffins nearby 'Diamond Module 4'. In the same place, but on the W side near the yellow switch is another coffin with 'Diamond Module 3'. Now go to the S of the green switch to find the last 'Diamond Module 2'. Now return all the way to Block 42 and use the Diamond Modules. Time to unlock the triangular lock. Return to Block 15 and enter the W portal to Block 16. Examine the control panel and return all the way to Block 4 one last time. From the fork, go W towards the blue switch and search the coffins on the W of the switch to find 'Triangular Module 1'. Now go to the SE orange switch and look at the coffins N of it to find 'Triangular Module 2'. Return to the green switch and check the coffins to the S to find 'Triangular Module 3'. Return all the way to Block 16, use the Triangular Modules and return to the previous Block (Block 15). Finally the path to the central portal is open. You are now in the Core Block. Use the Heal Point at the N end, save your game and enter the middle warp to trigger a scene and THE... --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: THE CREATOR ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ HP: ~50,000 ~ Elemental Affinity + Weak: None + Strong: None ~ Strategy: There are 2 final bosses, but the good thing is that this one isn't that hard. She's "easier" than Lacertus Rex. Yes, I mean that. She doesn't have that many turns and she doesn't step in every time you attack her, so make sure you're healed all the time, you have Buffed your ATK and DEF, as well as having protection against Debuffing. Attacks. Deponere deals 60~70 dmg. to the whole party. Ray III deals 200 dmg. to 1 character. Cannon III deals 100 dmg. to the entire party. Colligite deals 40~60 dmg. to the whole parte. Amittimus is an attack that deals 20~40 dmg. to the whole party. She can also cast Regen on herself, recovering 1,500+ HP per turn. Overall, this battle is a breeze compared to Lacertus Rex. You'll have no problems at all. Once you're done with this battle, you'll start the second round, or should I say, second phase. _,-'�\_}\_____________________,-._____________________/{_/�'-._ �'-._/�}/���������������������'-'���������������������\{�\_,-'� ~ Second Phase ~ ~ HP: ~30,000 This phase of The Creator has 3 targets. Two in the upper screen and 1 below. I really recommend you taking out the flashing orb at the bottom (it should have like 6,000 HP or so), then focus on the angel-looking target (the upper one) and finally focus all your strength on the core, the central target. You should take this battle just like the previous one. Keep yourself healed at all time, use 1 BP with whoever's turn it is to heal, then attack. Keep your ATK and DEF Buffs up, so you can deal a lot of dmg. per combo and you receive less. Make sure you use at least one Rhi'a's Crystal Voice to protect you. As for attacks -- she has a physical attack that hurts for 10~50 dmg. to all characters. He has a second physical attack that targets 1 character for 10~30 dmg. She also has the Deponere, Colligite and Amittimus attacks from the previous phase and they deal the same dmg. so you shouldn't worry about dmg. that much. If he does kill him, revive right away with a Secret Remedy and when Agan finished the Feral Soldiers, have him attack Rajiv. Use Agan's Desert's Horn to deal over 90 dmg. per hit; and if you need to heal, use Morte's Life Skill Sanctity of Life or Kyrie's Medicinal Soup. Venomfin will go down rather quickly if your 3 characters are attacking him nonstop with their Blood Skills. Since Ice is what takes most HP, use Taupy's Icy Strike and Morte's Blizzard. Porcus has a vulnerability against Stun, so use Kyrie's Numbing Broth to gain a lot of turns for each one of his. Also, it's very easy to delay Porcus' turns with Taupy's Icy Strike, so keep using it through the whole battle while you have Kyrie (who should be the most useless character in this battle) uses Lesser Tonics to keep the SP up. Whenever you see that Porcus sits and opens up the mouth in its' stomach, stop the Skills and start using physical attacks until you break his defense. Keep using Ice skills and Kyrie to heal to end this battle quickly. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== o Zifnir --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: NAJA/RAJIV/FERAL SOLDIER ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ Name: Naja ~ HP: 1,100 ~ Elemental Affinity + Weak: Ice + Strong: Wind ~ Name: Rajiv ~ HP: 950 ~ Elemental Affinity + Weak: Ice + Strong: Fire ~ Name: Feral Soldier ~ HP: ~450 ~ Elemental Affinity + Weak: None + Strong: None ~ Strategy: This is just a little bit harder than the previous battle against Rajiv -- and the only reason for that is because he comes with Naja. Have Taupy use Icy Strike or Sonic Strike to deal over 190 dmg. to Rajiv. You can put him to sleep with Kyrie's Sleeproot Saut� Skill. Have Morte follow Taupy and use Blizzard to deal dmg. to both enemies. Naja's most powerful attack is Cry Wolf, which deals between 25-40 dmg. to all party members. As you can see, this battle is not hard at all. Naja tends to use Cry Wolf more often when Rajiv is down, so be really careful and use Kyrie's Medicinal Soup constantly whenever needed. It's not an attack that hurts you, but when he uses 2, he transforms into the wolf he is and deals around 60+ dmg. to the entire party. To top it off, he's fast as ****. Seriously. He may have 2 moves per each one of yours. Whenever he uses an attack that hits the hole party, use healing Skills to completely recover the party. Just keep your party over 70 HP and you'll be fine. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: LUPUS REX ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ HP: 5,000 ~ CP: 56 ~ Items: None ~ Elemental Affinity + Weak: None + Strong: None ~ Strategy: Oh, we now get to play with pops. Lupus Rex, on his first turn, he'll probably use Battle Boost II twice to attack all party members for around 65 dmg. He also has Spark III, which is like Rajiv's Aero III. Basically, he's just like Rajiv, only that with more HP and a little bit stronger, so the same strategy applies here. He also has Voice of Chains, which attacks all party members plus it can inflict Stun on all of them, which is a real pain in the ass. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== o Botanical Gardens --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: RANA REX ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ HP: ~9,200 ~ CP: 66 ~ Items: None ~ Elemental Affinity + Weak: Earth + Strong: Ice ~ Strategy: Rana Rex is pretty easy, even though it has a ton of HP -- and more if you bring Taupy instead of Agan like I did the first time. Yes, Rana Rex has over 9,000 HP, which almost doubles Lupus Rex's HP. Let me name the attacks. He has Spark II, which is a strong Air-elemental attack to 1 character for 34~62 dmg. He has a combo attack for 9 hits (which usually do 1 dmg. per hit) and can inflict Venom, so cure it ASAP with Antidotes and/or Kyrie's Life Skill. He also has Bad Breath, which deals 35~40 dmg. to all characters, plus it can inflict Stun to all. Use Kyrie's Medicinal Soup to heal some HP and cure Stun. Another and most annoying attack, Sleep Gas, which has 100% accuracy to inflict Sleep on all 3 characters. I hope you have enough HP, because after this attack, he'll have several turns ahead of you, so he can deal quite the dmg. Just like Lupus Rex, he has Battle Boost II, which he'll use his Follow-up attack to inflict heavy dmg. to all 3 characters (between 50~80 dmg.). Just try to keep your HP over 80 and you'll be fine. As for spells, do not use them as they inflict so little dmg. and you should spend it for useful things like healing. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== o Azure Tower --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: AZURE SEA ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ HP: ~17,000 ~ CP: 123 ~ Items: None ~ Elemental Affinity + Weak: Earth + Strong: Water, Air, Fire ~ Strategy: Alrighty, we have to targets. Focus on the body first. If you already have your Flurries chained, Kyrie will be doing over 550 dmg. Have Morte use Army of Me in the first turn she gets so she can deal massive dmg. Make sure you bring into the battle Kyrie, Morte and Taupy. We need Taupy's Second Wind just in case any character dies, Taupy can revive him/her. Don't even bother inflicting status ailments nor using skills, as most of them as useless against him. For Azure Sea's attacks, he has Bolt of Lightning, which is Air dmg. to one character that deals 36~120 dmg. He likes to use it twice in a row and on the same character. What a pain. Purifying Rain, deals 20~30 dmg. to the entire party. Water III is another pain. It deals 45~63 dmg., so heal up right as you can. After you deal around 6,500 dmg. to the body, he'll go underwater and only raise the head. He now has more attacks. He has Tempest, which is basically Bolt of Lightning, only that it hurts all the party. Take extreme caution fighting only the head, as it has the tendency to attack and attack and attack the same character over and over until he uses his follow-up attack that deals 50~85 dmg. to all characters. He also starts using Healing Boost, which is practically Regen and heals around 400 each of his turns. What a pain man. Basically, this is an endurance fight. He heals a lot, and you should too with one of your BP. Not because of her HP, nor the dmg., but because she can confuse you, killing Morte (most probably). Simply use Flurry attacks with Rhi'a, Taupy and Kyrie, but do not use Special attacks, since you'll be attacking Morte too. Whenever you need healing, use whoever you can to heal up. Whatever you do, DO NOT attack Morte. As for attacks, she has Demon's Soul, which deals 35~60 dmg. plus it can Confuse you. Nice. He also has Shadow III, which deals 30~70 dmg. to a single character. Temptation deals dmg. to your party, plus it can confuse you too. She doesn't deal that much dmg. (well, in comparison to Azure Sea), but when she confuses you, use Kyrie's Medicinal Soup to cure it. Demon Stench deals 50~ 70 dmg. to all the party, so heal up afterwards. She has other attacks, but they're the same and can inflict Confuse, so that's your number 1 preoccupation. Taupy's Second Wind comes in real handy. If you have 2 characters dead (I had Rhi'a and Kyrie dead and Taupy with 3HP o_O), use it to gain full strength and beat the crap out of Serpens Rex. She also has an attack in which physical attacks won't hurt her, so use Air-elemental Blood Skills to take her out. You'll receive at the end of the battle 86 CP, 17,359 Gold and for Items: None. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== o Mechto --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: AQUILA REX ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ HP: ~3,800 ~ CP: 140 ~ Items: None ~ Elemental Affinity + Weak: Earth + Strong: Air ~ Strategy: Aquila Rex is actually quite hard, since you only have Morte and Kyrie for battle. He's in the air, so no combos from your Flurries. Dammit. Kyrie should easily get to 6 BP in every turn. Just use your Air Flurry with him to deal 250+ dmg. per Air Flurry, so with 4 you do in 1 turn takes around 1/4 of his health. The physical attacks deal around 0~1 dmg. to Kyrie. Seriously. His other attacks deal around 50 dmg. His special attack deals between 0~5 dmg. If Morte dies on you, don't even worry on reviving her. She has low DEF and Aquila Rex likes to attack her whether she has War Paint on or not. If you want, you could try to use a Stoneskin Potion to increase Morte's DEF, but if she keeps dying, just let her dead. As for attacks, he has Godspeed, which increases drastically his SPD. Feather Shot deals around 45~55 dmg. to one character. Wind III does 50~65 dmg. to one character. Storm II does 15~20 dmg. to both characters. Like all bosses, he has Battle Boost II, which is a pain. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== o Tower of Earth --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: STRANGE BOULDER ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ HP: ~7,500 ~ CP: 11 ~ Items: Golden Shard ~ Elemental Affinity + Weak: Air + Strong: Earth ~ Strategy: This Boss is not that hard. His Rock II Skill deals 15~25 dmg. to all characters. What you should be worried about is its physical attack that deals 120~150 per hit and he likes to use it twice in a row in the same character -- that means almost always if not always a KO. Taupy's Second Wind works wonders in this battle. That's about it. This boss really doesn't do much. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: GOLDEN EARTH ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ HP: ~15,500 ~ CP: 53 ~ Items: Golden Stone ~ Elemental Affinity + Weak: Air + Strong: Earth ~ Strategy: Ok, the second Primal Lord. He's not as though as Azure Sea, but he's still not an enemy to underestimate. I really recommend bringing Rhi'a and Taupy in this battle. Taupy, besides being an excellent physical attacker, he has Second Wind and that saves us from using items and ending out turns. Rhi'a, if you have her 3 Flurry attacks chained, and Blaze Gun, you'll be dealing 2,700+ dmg. per attack. As of its attacks, he has Clay III, which deals 50~80 dmg. to one character. His physical attack deals around 70 dmg. which is not bad. Rock II deals around 30 dmg. per character. Try to heal every turn, since we want out HP high. His special attack is the dangerous one. It can deal all the way from 80 dmg. to a whopping 215 dmg. Make sure to heal after this. These are all of his attacks, and he likes to combo 2 or 3 Clay III on one character in the same turn, so please keep your HP up. When he's almost dead (around 14,000 dmg.), he'll gain Untiring Defense, which makes your attacks hit for 5~10 per hit. That sucks. We need all the muscle we can get and Naja and Agan are weak... very weak. You must be quick and accurate in this battle. There's one move that Elephas Rex has where he puts up a shield where you practically do nothing to him (around 0~9 dmg. per hit). Just keep attacking and healing until it dissipates. The good thing is that he doesn't have a ton of turns like the previous bosses. His physical attack deals 40~70 dmg. per hit. He has Clay III, which deals 45~60 dmg. to one character. He has Grand Guise, which adds DEF and Regen that heals for 400+. Just like Azure Sea... what a pain! His Special Attack deals 80~120 dmg. to all characters. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== o Depths of Memory --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: NOCTUA REX ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ HP: ~12,000 ~ CP: 116 ~ Items: Book of Mind ~ Elemental Affinity + Weak: None + Strong: None ~ Strategy: Ok, this boss is hard if you don't prepare yourself. Make sure to equip Rhi'a and Taupy an accessory to increase AGL: Sonic Heels, Speed Shoes or Sirius Shoes (although it has a broken heart) so they get the first turns. In her first turn, have her use Crystal Voice to cancel his damn uppercuts that is an Air Follow-up combo plus leaves him in the air. If you have 3 BP, use another one to use Alluring Voice to cast Regen. Now use the last BP to attack. Probably Noctua Rex will have a turn at this point. Now, if Taupy is next, have him use both True Faith and Pride's Fang to increase ATK and DEF of the party. With this, we are now prepared to battle. Note that all dmg. calculations will be based on your party having True Faith on. For his attacks, he has his physical attacks that deal now around 10~15 dmg. per hit [it used to hit for 30~45 per hit. and it was almost a KO]. He also has Nightmare which deals 15~30 dmg. to all characters. The rest of his attacks deal around 30 dmg. max to either 1 or all characters. With what you did in the beginning of the battle, you made the battle a lot more easier. You won't have a problem with this battle. Just keep using Rhi'a's Crystal Voice every 2-3 turns just to be sure. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== o Tower of Wind --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: JADE ZEPHYR ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ HP: ~12,000 ~ CP: 260 ~ Items: ~ Elemental Affinity + Weak: None + Strong: None ~ Strategy: Start of like you did with Noctua Rex. Use Rhi'a's Crystal Voice to put Debuff Ward and have Taupy use True Faith and Pride's Fang. Jade Zephyr will now be airborne. You need to attack her at least 10 times to dissipate her shield and do some good dmg. Her attacks. Her physical attack does 20~25 dmg. per hit... and she hits you 17 times! That's around 360 dmg. WTF!!! Lulling Zephyr does little dmg., around 5 dmg. to all characters, but it can put you to sleep, so that's no good at all. Ill Wind does random dmg. It can do from 50 dmg. all the way to 379 dmg. (yeah, my Kyrie received that amount of dmg.) But that's not the worse part. When she uses Ill Wind, her wind shield goes back up, so yeah, that's not good at all. Netherworld is another of her attacks. For attacks, he has Physical Attack which does 5~20 dmg. per hit to one character. Ray III does 200 to one character. Cannon II does 50 dmg. to all characters while Cannon III does 100 dmg. to the whole party. Try to keep your HP full because if he boosts his ATK and you don't have Taupy's True Faith on, it'll most probably kill you. Kyrie's Gift of Life and Taupy's Second Wind are a great help keeping your party alive, but if you need to use a Flask of Wonder, go on ahead and use it. As a matter of fact, it's best if you have Taupy cast True Faith and Pride's Fang every turn, and have Rhi'a cast Crystal Voice. Lacertus' attacks. His physical attacks deal 50~70 dmg. to one character. His special attack deals 70~120 dmg. to the whole party. Azure Sea, Jade Zephyr and Golden Earth deal the same amount of dmg. (20~60) but of their corresponding element [Water, Air and Earth]. Divine Arsenal deals 400 dmg. to 1 character. Watch out for his Jade Zephyr attack, because it can both Poison you and Blind you, so you won't be able to use skills, which are the most important thing in this battle. He also likes to use Blade Ward, which nullifies physical attacks. What a pain. Use Blood Skills until it wears off. He can also increase his attack power, his speed, defense, cast Regen on himself and nullify elemental dmg. Attacks. Deponere deals 60~70 dmg. to the whole party. Ray III deals 200 dmg. to 1 character. Cannon III deals 100 dmg. to the entire party. Colligite deals 40~60 dmg. to the whole parte. Amittimus is an attack that deals 20~40 dmg. to the whole party. She can also cast Regen on herself, recovering 1,500+ HP per turn. Overall, this battle is a breeze compared to Lacertus Rex. You'll have no problems at all. Once you're done with this battle, you'll start the second round, or should I say, second phase. _,-'�\_}\_____________________,-._____________________/{_/�'-._ �'-._/�}/���������������������'-'���������������������\{�\_,-'� ~ Second Phase ~ ~ HP: ~30,000 This phase of The Creator has 3 targets. Two in the upper screen and 1 below. I really recommend you taking out the flashing orb at the bottom (it should have like 6,000 HP or so), then focus on the angel-looking target (the upper one) and finally focus all your strength on the core, the central target. You should take this battle just like the previous one. Keep yourself healed at all time, use 1 BP with whoever's turn it is to heal, then attack. Keep your ATK and DEF Buffs up, so you can deal a lot of dmg. per combo and you receive less. Make sure you use at least one Rhi'a's Crystal Voice to protect you. As for attacks -- she has a physical attack that hurts for 10~50 dmg. to all characters. He has a second physical attack that targets 1 character for 10~30 dmg. She also has the Deponere, Colligite and Amittimus attacks from the previous phase and they deal the same dmg. so you shouldn't worry about dmg. that much. There's not a whole lot to do, but you do have to fight one Boss during these sidequests. W E A P O N ��������������� Once the Primal Cataract appears, head to the Summer Isle and move on to Lyse. A little scene triggers as you enter and now you have to reenter the Tower of Light, so follow carefully. Return to the Temple from the entrance where you regained control after the scene (second from left to right). Follow the path completely until you get to the next area. Keep following the path and at the S/E fork, go S on to the next area. Move forward and at the fork, go SW through the gate on to the next area. Follow the path, go through the gate and at the fork, go SW to the next area. Follow the path and at the next fork, ****** go N and at the next one, go S to reach the entrance of the Temple. Go W from the fork and use the recently activated portal. You'll now get to the dark part of the Tower of Light -- the Tower of Shadow. After the scene, go E to the fork and go N to find a switch. Activate it, go all the way S and deactivate the switch down here. Now go S and approach the S portal to trigger a scene. Once it's over, use the portal to get to the second floor. Go S to find a chest with 'Utility Belt' inside. Now go N and fall down the red hole in the ground. Follow the path, go W at the first fork and deactivate the NW switch. Now return to the N/S fork (just after you fell), go S and use the portal. Down here, use the Heal Point and enter any of the 3 portals to get to the next area and take out... --=======------=======----=-=----===-----===-----------====----=-------===----- ~-~ BOSS: SHADOW KYRIE ~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~-~ ~ HP: ~12,000 ~ CP: 175 ~ Items: Flask of Wonder ~ Elemental Affinity + Weak: None + Strong: Fire ~ Strategy: Compared to other battles, this one isn't that tough. Buff up your ATK and DEF as always and keep your HP up. If you're using Rhi'a, use her Crystal Voice to protect against Aurora's Bind. Since he's the same as Kyrie, he has all of his attacks. His physical attack deals 35~50 dmg. to one character per hit. Aurora deals 80~120 dmg. to all characters plus it can inflict bind. Mors Certa deals 45~65 dmg. to one character. He also has Kyrie's Shining Spike Special Attack, which deals 100~ 120 dmg. ==-------======-------====-=-====---=====---===========----====-=======---===== Watch the scene after the battle and you'll receive Kyrie's 'Destruct Blade' -- best weapon for him. Also, he learns a new Quip, so that's good. A R M O R ������������� This one is fast and simple. Before entering the Primal Cataract, go to Mirrorsand Grotto and from there, go S to Barni. A scene triggers here and Kyrie will obtain his best armor in the game. You'll obtain 'Crimson Robe' or 'Crimson Gear'... <vin> If you came here before Kyrie was killed by Naja, you must have gotten the Legendary Apron. If you did, you'll obtain Crimson Gear, which is the best. If you didn't, you'll get Crimson Robe. You'll trigger a scene with Felis Rex. He wants something called an Divine Ear Pick, which is at the bottom of the Azure Tower. You'll be directed to Viteau automatically. After the little scene, go to the W side and talk to the man with the boat. A scene will trigger as you approach him. Pay him 10,000 G, have him take you to the Base of the Azure Tower and go inside. <vin> Inside, the Roving Swordsman enemy drops the Innocence Broadsword for Morte, as well as Solid Suit -- while the Blacksteel Spear enemy drops Beastlord's Secret. Both are really good items and I recommend grabbing some to sell and keep for yourself to spare. In here, go up the ladder on the E and grab 'Tome of Mastery x5' from the chest up here. Return to the entrance and go up the ladder on the W. Press the red switch up here to drain some of the water on the 1st floor. Return downstairs, save your game, go E and go down into the pit where the water used to be. A little scene will trigger down here with all the chests. During the scene, you'll have to take care of 3 Tarnished Lions. They're a bit tougher than the Roving Swordsman, and during 1 of your turns, they should go down. They have like ~3,500 each one, so that's nothing you can't handle, right? ;) Just make sure to take down the male Tarnished Lions before they use Total Boost and kick your ass. Now open all the chests to get your loot. Now locate the N ladder and follow it up. Press the red switch to drain the other half of the water. Return downstairs, go W, save your game and go down the stairs to find more Tarnished Lions -- also, Kyrie learns a new Quip. Now go up the W middle ladder and up here, move W to trigger a scene, Morte learns a new Quip and you'll have to fight more Tarnished Lions. The scene continues after the fight and you'll obtain 'Divine Ear Pick'. You'll return automatically to Agi Wharfs and give Meow the item. He'll then hand over 'Infini' -- Morte's best weapon. A R M O R ������������� To get Morte's best armor, you have to talk to a lady dressed in red 4 times throughout the world to get a armor and upgrade it. Here's the list of the locations: 1. When you first enter Viteau (when you defeat Porcus Rex), go to the Floating Garden and talk to the woman in red and she'll take Pastel Suit from you and she'll give you 'Eye-popping Blouse'. 2. When you go to Viteau to enter the Azure Tower, go to the Noble Quarter, go W up the stairs and then go W at the fork and talk to the woman in red that's in the corner to have her take the Eye-popping Blouse from you and she'll give you 'Vivid Shirt'. 3. When Primal Cataract appears, return to Lyse and go in the Temple from the second entrance from left to right. Now follow these instructions: Follow the path completely until you get to the next area. Keep following the path and at the S/E fork, go S on to the next area. Move forward and at the fork, go SW through the gate on to the next area. Follow the path, go through the gate and at the fork, go SW to the next area. Follow the path and at the next fork, you'll find the woman in red. Talk to her and she'll remove Vivid Shirt form the inventory and you'll obtain 'Spangled Dress'. Also, Morte learns a new Quip. 4. Return to where the second woman was (outside the Azure Sea) and talk to her. She'll remove Spangled Dress from your inventory and you'll receive 'See- through Dress'. During the last event, Agan learns a new Quip, as well as Morte. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ~-~ ~-~ ~-~ 7.3] Taupy ~-~ ~-~ ~-~ =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-.sx703.-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= '-----' While you do Taupy's best weapon sidequest, you obtain his best armor while you do it, but heed my words, you can miss the best armor and lose it forever! W E A P O N ��������������� After you finish Morte's sidequests, return to Viteau to trigger a little scene where Rhi'a and Naja want to meet Muffy, Taupy's girl. When you regain control, return to Taupy's house (NE corner of the Shopping Arcade) to trigger another scene. Taupy learns a new Quip as he exits his house. Now it's time to take care of 3 Bounty Hunters. Start of by going to Winter Isle and enter the N side of Garragis Wastes... <vin> The Bounty Hunter random enemy in this area drop Hexor's Wigs and Danger Sensors, so grab some while you're here. ... grab all the chests you find in this area and when you get to a W/E fork (near the center of the area), go W and before getting to the end, save your game and proceed. You'll meet up with Black Death. He only has around ~4,000 HP, so heal and Buff DEF with the first 2 BP, and then combo him to death... <vin> This is why I told you to save. Black Death is the only of the 3 Bounty Hunters that drop Taupy's best armor, Victory Bandana. If you didn't receive it, reset and repeat. Try equipping Cat's Paw to improve your chances of getting it. After the battle, he'll give you 'Onyx Gloves'. Now move to Autumn Isle and enter Tanner Plateau from the S side. Go N 2 forks and at the 4-way fork, go all the way W until you get to the N/S fork on the W side of the Plateau. Here, save your game and go N to trigger a scene with Brown Bullet. He has less HP than Black Death, but Buff your ATK so you can really deal dmg. Otherwise, you'll deal around 15~20 dmg. per hit. He'll give you 'Tan Gloves' at the end of the battle. Now go to Summer Isle and enter Albion Greenwood from the W side. Simply follow the path and at the SW area (where you fought Elephas Rex), another scene will trigger and you'll have to fight Rogue Destroyer. Even though he's red and cool looking, he's the same as the previous ones, only that he has Regen on. After the fight, you'll receive 'Crimson Gloves'. During the scene towards Sphir Meadows, Taupy learns another Quip. Once here, follow the path until you get to the bridge. A scene with a lot of kisses trigger as you get here plus Rhi'a learns a new Quip. At the end, Taupy receives 'Friend's Gloves' -- his best weapon. A R M O R ������������� To get Taupy's best armor, you get it through his weapon sidequest. You steal his best armor -- Victory Bandana from the first Bounty Hunter you have to deal with, Black Death. If you don't get it from this battle, reset and fight him over and over until you get them. If you pass this opportunity, you'll miss them forever. Afterwards, go NW and enter the Chief's Cabana to trigger another scene. Take the test and we need to get a Kingwhale Bone from the Boneyard. Once you're here, go N and examine the blue bones here until you find 'Rabbit Season'. Once you get this, Agan learns a new Quip. Now go to the NE corner of the island and examine the blue bones here. You'll get 'Yellow Ore' and '10G' from here. After you get some items from here, you'll get in a battle with Dark Crown. It has like ~3,000 HP, so it shouldn't pose a problem at all. You'll learn a new Quip after the battle. You'll also obtain 'Kingwhale Bone'. Afterwards, you'll return to the Chief and the party and Agan will obtain 'Ganza Whip' -- Agan's best weapon. A R M O R ������������� For Agan's best armor, you have to buy 3 pieces of armor for Agan from the Armorer in Viteau. Note that once the Primal Cataract appears, you can buy all 3 coats. 1. Fine Tailored Coat: after the event in Sky Gaol (after killing Lupus Rex), go to Viteau's Armorer to buy the Fine Tailored Coat for 10,000G. 2. Keen Tailored Coat: after your second trip to Botanical Gardens (after killing Rana Rex), go back to Viteau's Armorer to buy Keen Tailored Coat for 20,000G. 3. Nice Tailored Coat: after the Tower of Light, go back to Viteau's Armorer to buy Nice Tailored Coat for 40,000G. Now, to get the best armor, you must have bought these 3 coats and you need to have Ganza Whip, his best weapon. Once it's over, go over to the Crevasse. Save your game and follow the path to trigger a little scene and a fight with Chaos Elder will begin. He's no different from the normal enemies (he's like the Tarnished Lions from Morte's sidequest). Now follow the path until you reach the Tower of Wind. From the entrance, follow the NW path and go up the stairs at the end. Follow the path all the way to the 4th floor and at this fork, go W and use the blue portal. Here, press the red switch and use the portal to the N (the purple one). On the other side, press the red switch, open the chest to the SW to find 'Phoenix Feather'. Now use the green portal, press the red switch to the NW and grab 'Swift Garter' from the chest to the SW. Return now to the fork in the beginning of the floor and use the red portal. Use the Heal Point and go N to trigger a scene and a battle with Eru Ancient. He only has like ~10,000 HP, so 1 or 2 turns of yours (Kyrie's and Rhi'a's) and he'll go down. Watch the scene at the end and Rhi'a will obtain 'Omega', her best weapon. A R M O R ������������� This is one of the easiest armors to get in the game. Throughout the game, come to Agi Wharfs and you'll trigger a scene with a member of Meow's crew. When the Primal Cataract appears, you can do all. Enter and leave every time you get an armor until you get the best armor -- 'Maid's Dress'. Also, Rhi'a learns a new Quip during the last scene, and Taupy learns one as well. Take out the top one first because he likes to use Voice of Chains that stuns your party. If they use Total Boost, try using Naja's Cleansing Cry to remove their Buffs. Keep following the path and another scene will trigger. Take care of them, go to the N side of the room and drop down the hole. From these 2 holes, drop down the W one and approach the NE chest to trigger a scene and another fight, with 3 Feral Ops this time. After the battle, Naja learns a new Quip and the best thing, you'll receive his best weapon, the 'Silverwolf Fang'.
