Version History [HIS] ======================================================================= Version 2.2 -> Edited high score section. More teams added for the Sup. [04/12/10] Cup. Revised some Tip sections for some events. Sorry for not updating lately. I had a little break. Version 2.1 -> Added a new section about the Supreme Cup and the teams. [04/08/10] Edited the high score section. Finally, I got info about the strength-boost on Block Smash. Filled the missing info about the extra awards in the Trust room. Completed the Data Card prices. Version 1.9 -> More info added about ApriJuice. Changed "ApriShaker" to [04/04/10] "ApriBlender" cause "blender" is the name for the Eng. version. More teams added to the Opposing Teams section. Version 1.8 -> Added the in-game names of the record rooms like the [04/03/10] Solidarity, Trust, Potential, and Friendship rooms. Corrected Goal Roll time limit. I've also added a note about the mysterious boost during the Block Smash game. (I've yet to figure out how this occurs.) Made a new section, the High-Score Records. Inserted some missing info of Data Cards. On each event, I've added in a small part that shows the stars that would be recommened in order to do well in that event. Edited the tips for some events. Added a new section about Bonus points. I got a small list of teams you go against with. Version 1.1 -> Added in Circle Push, Snow Throw, and Pennant Capture [03/31/10] scoring. Also fixed some errors like wrong spellings. I fixed the spacing too.. Version 1.0 -> Created this guide. Added in info about the Pokeathlon [03/30/10] and the FAQ. Cheers for completing this guide! Some scoring info not available. ======================================================================= I. Introduction [INTRO] ======================================================================= Welcome to my first ever made guide! This is my first time making a guide, so please bear with me. o.o First of all, if there's anything missing in this guide, please e-mail me at [email protected] or simply comment in my YouTube channel on http://www.youtube.com/user/Ayenamae . Thank you. Also, state your username in GameFAQs so I can credit you properly. Why I choose the Pokeathlon...well, I really like the Pokeathlon and mastered it. (Well, I just lack a few of the individual envents medals, but whatever.) I happen to search around to see if there's a guide about it, but there's none, so I figured that I'd volunteer to make one. This intro part is just a prelude before the actual guide. So skip this part now-I got nothing else to say...for now. ======================================================================= II. The Pokeathlon [PKTHLON] ======================================================================= The Pokeathlon is a new feature added into the remake of the original Gold and Silver, Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver. It's an olympic-like event wherein four teams consisting of three Pokemon compete against each other. The Pokeathlon Dome is located in the west of National Park in Johto, but you won't be able to access it until you have beaten Whitney, the gym leader of Goldenrod City. There are a total of ten events, and there are five categories. The five would be the Speed, Power, Skill, Stamina, and Jump Courses. There are three events in each course, and it's up to the player to use the stylus to control their Pokemon and win. To check your Pokemon's Pokeathlon statistics, simply open their page summary, and turn to the last tab where you can the stats on the top. These stats can be modified with Aprijuice, Apricorns turned into juice. For more info about Aprijuice, go to the Aprijuice section. When you unlock the Pokeathlon and first visit it, you'll be greeted by the Pokeathlon owner, Magnus. He'll show you around inside the dome, and the facilities. When you approach the middle counter, Whitney will appear and give you an outfit for the Pokeathlon. You're free to explore around the dome now. Anyway, you can see here an ASCII (I think that's what it's called) map of the inside of the dome. Sorry if it's ugly-it's not easy to make it. There's a description thing in the front of each stick that talks about the ten events in of the Pokeathlon. [Counter] - There are two ladies. The one on the left will be the one you will talk to if you want to join the Pokeathlon. The one on the right will sell you Data Cards in exchange for points. [Counter2] - The counter to go if you want to play with your friends. [Data PC] - It keeps records of your wins and losses. However, in order to actually view the data, you need to buy Data Cards. [PC] - The usual PC in Pokecenters. Withdraw/Deposit Pokemon here. [Prize Counter] - It's the counter for buying item prizes in exchange for points. The items change each day. There's a list in the Item Prizes section. (Old Man) - There's an old man standing in front of a bunch of trees. If you speak to him, he'll tell you about his story if you say Yes. His dream was to reach 1,000 jumps in the Pokeathlon but did only 998 and couldn't finish, cause he had to retire. If you jump in the Pokeathlon 1,000 or more times, talk to him, and he'll give you a Rare Candy and be your fan. (Guy) - He is like the old man but different story. Beat his record of 2000 tackles and he'll give you a reward. [VM] - There's a vending machine on the upper right corner of the room. You can buy the usual Soda Pop, Fresh Water, and Lemonade. You can pay either money or using your points. [Escalator1] - It's an escalator going up. It leads to a hall, and if you go up, you can go outside. You can see people watching the field. Also, on the right end side, you can see Magnus watching, but you can't talk to him. If you beat the Pokeathlon and unlock the Hall of Fame room, if you speak to the people, they will tell you that they're your fans, and they're cheering for you. The more you play, the more people that'll say that they're your fan. <3 [Escalator2] - Leads downstairs to the Record Hall. Once you got at least one crown on each course (that would be at least 400 points per course), you will unlock the Individual Pokemon room. If you got a a Pokemon that won all categories, you will unlock you the Individual Events room. Defeat the high score in each event, and you'll be able to reach the last room, the Hall of Fame, where you and your Pokemon's statues a displayed. ======================================================================= III. Courses and Events [CnE] ======================================================================= Talk to the lady in the counter and select the course you want. Afterwards, you will change your clothes to the jersey clothing, and you'll select 3 Pokemon for the course. This section will show the courses and the events plus tips and scoring. The description is by me, by the way. You don't necessarily need to form a team with all the stats focused on. The more important stat would be the main stat focused throughout the course. Unless you want to reach a high score then go for it--make a perfect team. You can also form a team of three of the same kind of Pokemon. You will win an extra 100 points if you win first place in the course. ======================================================================= o----------------o | Speed Course | [SPEED] o----------------o-------------------------------o | Stats focused on: Speed, Skill, Stamina, Jump | | Events: [1] Hurdle Dash (Speed + Jump) | | [2] Pennant Capture (Speed + Skill) | | [3] Relay Run (Speed + Stamina) | o------------------------------------------------o ----------------------------------------------------------------------- [1] Hurdle Dash - Speed Course ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Description: Three of your Pokemon will race to the finish line. They must jump over the hurdles that will get in their way. Categories: + Speed: How fast your Pokemon runs + Jump: How far and high your Pokemon jumps Time: You can run as long until you reach the finish line or all the opponent Pokemon reaches the finish line before you. Controls: Your Pokemon will automatically run as fast as it can. On the top screen, you can see the upcoming hurdles, so get ready. When the hurdle(s) is/are in front of your Pokemon, tap the Pokemon for it to jump. If you jump at the right time, your Pokemon will get a boost and will run faster. The more you do this jump-boost, the faster your Pokemon will run. To make a jump-boost, your Pokemon should jump "on" the hurdle. It may sound hard, but it's quite easy once you get the hang of it. Individual Event Scores to Beat: First Score: 100.0 seconds Second Score: 80.0 seconds Tips: Pick a 2-3 star Jump stat Pokemon and your fastest buddies. Yes, it may seems a bit hard to have them all jump, but keep entering the same course and the same Pokemon till you win. And also, relax. Pokemon Recommended: 3 Pokemon with not the exact same speed. 2-3 stars for Jump. Scoring: N/A. Faster and Shorter Time = More Points Faster than 110.0 seconds should make you win first. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- [2] Pennant Capture - Speed Course ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Description: Collect as many flags as you can! Bump onto other Pokemon to steal their flags! Categories: + Speed: How fast your Pokemon moves + Skill: How easier your Pokemon turns Time: 60 seconds Controls: This is my least favorite event cause it's hard, and your opponents move like it's so easy. You simply point on your Pokemon and move the stylus on the screen to move and collect flags. You can collect a upto maximum of 9 flags at a time. Return to the starting point to add the flags onto your score, and your next Pokemon will be the next you will control. Individual Event Scores to Beat: First Score: 35 flags Second Score: 50 flags Tips: The field and obstacles may change whenever you play Pennant Capture, so it's not always the same, but once you get the hang of it, you'll recognize the field right away. Try to collect flags clockwise or counterclockwise. Once you make a round, go back to the starting point. Going back to the areas where you missed collecting the flags will waste time, and the opponent will likely get it once you go back. Pokemon Recommended: High speed and skill. Scoring: Your score multiplied by 3 = your points. More than 30-35 flags should make you first place. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- [3] Relay Run - Speed Course ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Description: Run as many laps as you can! Switch your Pokemon before/when it gets tired. Categories: + Speed: How fast your Pokemon runs + Stamina: How much your Pokemon can keep up Time: 100 seconds Controls: It's a race, so you "slash" continuously on the screen to make your Pokemon run. On the upper left of the screen is the switch button. When your Pokemon begins to sweat, you must switch it immediately to the next or else it won't run much and will get dizzy if bumped by other Pokemon. Individual Event Scores to Beat: First Score: 12.0 Laps Second Scores: 16.0 Laps Tips: On your first lap, try to remember the layout of the track, so you'll remember and know also when to move up or down. If you run on the pebbles, you'll move slower. If you bump the big rocks, you'll bounce back. For me, I have my left thumb ready on the switch button, so when my Pokemon gets tired, it will get switched immediately without wasting milliseconds. If you want, you can tilt your DS sideward, so you'll move down. Your choice. Pokemon Recommended: High Speed and Stamina. 4-5 stars for both Speed and Stamina for records. Scoring: The number of laps you make multiplied by 10 is your points. Simpler Words: Remove decimal point = your points. More than 12.0 laps should make you first place. Your opponents are slow anyway. ======================================================================= o----------------o | Power Course | [POWER] o----------------o-------------------------------o | Stats focused on: Power, Stamina, Speed, Skill | | Events: [1] Block Smash (Power + Stamina) | | [2] Circle Push (Power + Speed) | | [3] Goal Roll (Power + Skill) | o------------------------------------------------o ----------------------------------------------------------------------- [1] Block Smash - Power Course ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Description: SMASH! SMASH! SMASH! Destroy as many blocks as you can! Categories: + Power: Your Pokemon's smashing strength + Stamina: How long your Pokemon can keep smashing Time: 30 seconds Controls: Simply rapidly tap on the blocks to have your Pokemon smash them. After 10 blocks, your blocks will be refilled. On the upper left of the screen is the switch button, which you should tap if you're Pokemon begins to sweat and get tired. Individual Event Scores to Beat: First Score: 80 blocks Second Score: 130 blocks Tips: Pick the Pokemon with high Power and Stamina. Also, remember how many block sets your Pokemon can smash before it gets tired. The best time to switch is when the blocks are begin refilled. For me, I put my left thumb stand-by on the switch button, so I get smashin' right away when your Pokemon gets switched. How to trigger strength-boost: There are tiny cracks on the blocks. When you smash that crack, you get a strength-boost. (A fist icon shows) Do it in a chain, and you'll get a blue ring, and a bigger chain= red ring. Pokemon Recommended: High stars for Power and Stamina. That's...it. Bolded stars would be great too. Scoring: The number of blocks you smashed equals to your score. Smash as much as you can to get first place. Different opponents' team strength is different. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- [2] Circle Push - Power Course ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Description: Run into the circle! Push your opponents off the circle! Categories: + Power: Pushing strength + Speed: How fast your Pokemon moves around Time: I'm guessing 15~ seconds. There's a timer around the rectangle field. Controls: Touch your Pokemon and move it. All your Pokemon are present, so getting them in the circle and pushing others can be hard. You can push your opponents off the rectangle field by the way. The smaller the circle, the more points. Individual Event Scores to Beat: First Score: 40 points Second Score: 60 points Tips: Try to focus on where your Pokemon are located, and try to have them close to each other. Have them in a triangle position if you're going to fit them all in the 5-point circle. If there are multiple circles, aim for the one that gives the most points. If there are two same-scoring circles, go for the one with lesser Pokemon crowding on it. Pokemon Recommended: Don't use giant-size Pokemon. They take up more space, and may be hard to get into the 5p Circle. You may want to consider 3 star Speed, so you can move around faster. If your style is pushing other Pokemon off the circle, 2-3 stars Power. Scoring: Your score multiplied by 3 = Your points Reach higher than 35-40 points to win first place. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- [3] Goal Roll - Power Course ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Description: Shoot the ball in the opponents' net to gain a point! Shoot the ball in your net and you'll lose a point! Categories: + Power: How strong the impact when you push the ball + Skill: How far your ball gets pushed Time: 90 seconds. Controls: Touch your Pokemon and move it. Just flick your Pokemon onto the ball, and it'll hit the ball. Shoot the ball into others' goals. All your Pokemon are present, and so are the opposing teams. It's a soccer-like match, but harder. Nine Pokemon will be hogging on the ball and pushing it around. @.@ Individual Event Scores to Beat: First Score: 3 points Second Score: 9 points Tips: Whew, I finally managed to get the Potential Medal on this. Anyway, like what the tip guy in the game said, have one Pokemon guard your goal, so if a ball reaches near your net, you can hit it somewhere else to defend your goal. Your other two Pokemon would be the hitters. One could hit the ball, and the other can support hitting it. (Ex: Poke-A failed to shoot the ball into the goal. Poke-B is nearby and hits the ball to shoot it into the goal.) Pokemon Recommended: A Pokemon with good Power and Skill. Scoring: Normal Ball = +1 to shooter; -1 to the team's goal that got hit Golden Ball = +2 to shooter; -1 to the team's goal that got hit N/A If you got a good score, the other teams would have 0 points--making you the winner. ======================================================================= o----------------o | Skill Course | [SKILL] o----------------o-------------------------------o | Stats focused on: Skill, Power, Speed | | Events: [1] Snow Throw (Skill + Power) | | [2] Goal Roll (Skill + Power) | | [3] Pennant Capture (Skill + Speed) | o------------------------------------------------o ----------------------------------------------------------------------- [1] Snow Throw - Skill Course ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Description: SNOWBALL FIGHT! Hiyah!! Categories: + Skill: How fast your Pokemon can "recover" in-between throwing snowballs + Power: How strong your snowball throw is Time: 60 seconds Controls: Flick your Pokemon to have them throw a snowball. If your flick is accurate, you'll hit the opponent's Pokemon, gaining you a point. If your Pokemon gets hit, it will stop temporarily from throwing another snowball. If a Pokemon gets continually hit, then the Pokemon will be dizzy and stop moving/throwing. Individual Event Scores to Beat: First Score: 30 points Second Score: 55 points Tips: Ooh~ snow fun!! Try to "flick" all your Pokemon from left to right or vice-versa if your left handed. Alternate-throw will ensure you high points. Try to aim for the left or right team first, and when their Pokemon gets tired, try the other side. It's simply and fun. ^o^ By the way, you can tap your Pokemon several times to have them make a bigger snowball, but by the time you make it, an opponent's snowball could have smash it... ---O-O-O--- Legend: O---------O Credits to StrikeOfTheBlade O- Enemy O---------O from YouTube for the ASCII. Categories: + Stamina: How much your Pokemon can keep fighting + Power: How strong your Pokemon's "push" Time: 60 seconds Controls: Simple. Flick your Pokemon to have them hit other Pokemon. Drag the stylus to move them. Push them off the ring to gain points. Tap your Pokemon to have it jump. If it lands on top of a Pokemon, then that Pokemon on the ground will get smooshed and will get blasted off the ring. The switch button is on the center-top of the bottom screen, but it's different from the other events. It activates only when your Pokemon is resting. But you would only switch very few times, cause your Pokemon could have gotten pushed off the ring. Individual Event Scores to Beat: First Score: 70 points Second Scores: 100 points Tips: Try to have your Pokemon hit the others will full power. If you over-hit, you'll fall off the ring with your opponent and therefore lose points. I don't usually have my Pokemon jump, but if your Pokemon is surrounded, you might as well jump and blast your opponents off the ring. Pokemon Recommended: I pick the Pokemon with high Power and Stamina for high scores. Scoring: N/A. 200 is the highest points you can get. That's... a score of 300 I think. Note that if your opponents fall off the ring, they'll lose points. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- [2] Relay Run - Stamina Course ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Description: Run as many laps as you can! For the mean time, I have no idea yet why this happens, but it is like a strength-boost. I'm checking out on how and when this happens. If you got an idea on how to trigger this, please let me know. Categories: + Jump - How high your Pokemon can jump + Skill - The ability to jump sideward Time: 60 seconds Controls: Make your Pokemon bounce upward by pulling them down with the stylus. Pull down sidewards and the Pokemon will jump sideward. However, if your Pokemon hits on your other Pokemon, the two (or three) Pokemon will get dizzy for a short while. The more lights you hit, the more points. Try to aim a chain in hitting the lights cause the score goes higher upto a max. of 5pts/light. Individual Event Scores to Beat: First Score: 350 points Second Scores: 500 points Tips: Have a Pokemon with high jumping skill. Jump is more important than Skill, but if you got a Pokemon with good stars on both, then great! You can't move your Pokemon, so you can only make them jump. If that's the case, then have one jump up and the other left/right. Try to bounce as far as you can while hitting many lights. You can "move" your Pokemon by making them jump low while waiting for the lights to lit up again. Pokemon Recommended: Jump: 3-5 stars Skill: 3-5 stars Scoring: N/A. Try to have more than 360 points. Your opponents will have a score of 300-350ish. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- [2] Disc Catch - Jump Course ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Description: Frisbee catch! Categories: + Jump: How high your Pokemon can jump/easily catch the frisbee + Power: How strong your Pokemon can push other Pokemon Time: 60 seconds Controls: Drag the stylus around to have your Pokemon move around. Tap them to make them jump. Your goal is to catch as many Frisbees/saucers as you can within the time given. The lower on the rectangle you jump and catch the frisbee, the more points you get. Individual Event Scores to Beat: First Score: 40 points Second Scores: 70 points Tips: I have one Pokemon stand-by on the lower left corner in the 5-point zone. The other two will be on random areas of the board. You can push your opponents off the board if you want. I stay on the 3-point and 5-point zone. Pokemon Recommended: You can go for a balanced team if you want. Also, some Pokemon in front are annoying sometimes, so your Pokemon with good Power can push them off the ring. Scoring: N/A. Try to have more than 45 points. If you jump a lot and catch most of the frisbees, your opponents will not get much of a score. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- [3] Hurdle Dash - Jump Course ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Description: Three of your Pokemon will race to the finish line. Now here's some changes: [1] Better Teams There are new teams in the Supreme Cup. You can even meet a Gym Leader! [2] More 1st-place Bonus Points Instead of 100 extra points, you get 300 points instead if you win first place in the course! I'll fill you guys in for the scores that would be good enough to reach 1st place in that event, since the other teams are more challenging. Some events have the word "Depends on your Performance" because you will have to do well so you'll have a high score while the rest get terrible scores like 0. Speed Course: Hurdle Dash - Faster than 110.0 Pennant Capture - 32-35+ points Relay Run - At least 12-13 laps Power Course: Block Smash - Higher than 100 to be sure Circle Push - 40+ points Goal Roll - This depends on your performance. Skill Course: Snow Throw - 50+ points Goal Roll - This depends on your performance. Pennant Capture - 32-35+ points Stamina Course: Ring Drop - Depends on your performance. 200 is the max. score. Relay Run - At least 12-13 laps Block Smash - Higher than 100 to be sure Jump Course: Lamp Jump - Higher than 400 Disc Catch - Depends on your performance. Hurdle Dash - Faster than 110.0 Apparently in my experience, the new teams are just "intimidating" cause their teams consist of better Pokemon. Their performance is just a bit better than the normal cup... ======================================================================= V. Bonus Points [BONUS] ======================================================================= After each course, before announcing the 1st-place winner, there would be bonus points on the scoring. It would help lots if you can help me a bit on the info here. Some bonuses, even though it says ____ the most, may apply to more than one Pokemon. Bonuses: (1) Challenge Bonus - From what I've observed, the better Pokemon your bring, the lesser effort bonus you get... I guess having better Pokemon means you exert less effort cause it's easier? (2) Individual Pokemon Bonus - Never had this one. Dunno why. (3) Scored the Most (4) Jumped the Most (5) No-Miss Bonus - The Pokemon that didn't miss. (6) Points Leader - The Pokemon that scored the most on scoring events. (7) Dashed the Most (8) Hit the Most (9) Failed the Most - Least scoring Pokemon. Every course has the challenge bonus. ======================================================================= VI. Pokeathlon Stats [STATS] ======================================================================= To see your Pokemon's Pokeathlon Stats, check the summary page and turn it to the right-most tab. You'll see your Pokemon's stats represented with stars. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Default Stats [DEF-STATS] ----------------------------------------------------------------------- All Pokemon have different stats. You can alter the stats with ApriJuice. Note: Pokemon that have different forms have different stats. The whole thing is hard to list down, Serebii has an organized list: http://serebii.net/heartgoldsoulsilver/pokeathlon-pkmn.shtml ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Aprijuice [APRIJUICE] ----------------------------------------------------------------------- To obtain ApriJuice, there are two ways-either buy it and make it by yourself. But in order to make ApriJuice yourself, you need an item called an Apricorn Blender. This "item" is an add-on for your Apricorn Case. Where to get it? It's really simple. Just outside the Pokeathlon dome, on theleft, there's a guy selling something. Go to the tube things, and the guy will introduce to you about the ApriJuice. It can modify a Pokemon's Pokeathlon stats to raise it. But there's a catch though, if a stat goes up,there's a chance that there will be a stat that will go down. For instance, you feed a Pokemon a Speed Juice, the Power stat of the Pokemon might decrease, but the Speed stat will increase. Now, time to make ApriJuice! Now that you got the add-on on your ApriCase, open your items menu and open your ApriCase. There's a blender now on the empty space before. You simply drag Apricorns to the blender then move around for about 100 steps. Check it again, and it will be drinkable. Let your Pokemon drink it by clicking on it, selecting a Pokemon, and let it drink the ApriJuice. If you check out the tube things, the guy will tell you what kind of juice is it. A drink costs 100-150 PokeMoney, and the type of juice he sells each day changes. Oh, but you're wondering, what if I make my own ApriJuice? Which Apricorn to use? Here is a small list of what apricorns raise what stat and its flavor. The flavor works just like Poffins and PokeBlocks in other games. Blue Apricorn - Raises SKILL - Dry - May decrease JUMP Green Apricorn - Raises JUMP - Bitter - May decrease SPEED Pink Apricorn - Raises SPEED - Sweet - May decrease POWER Red Apricorn - Raises POWER - Spicy - May decrease STAMINA Yellow Apricorn - Raises STAMINA - Sour - May decrease SKILL Black Apricorn - No raise - No flavor - Strong to all White Apricorn - No raise - No flavor - Weak to all Here are some things you need to know about ApriJuice: 1. If the Pokemon gets moved to the PC, the modified stats will return back to normal like it never drank ApriJuice. 2. With the Taste option, you can know its mildness and smoothness. The smoother the apricorn is, the less negative effects. To make it smoother, you just leave the juice in the blender for a while. More walking would mean a smoother drink. Also, if a day passes, the juice will be smoother too. 3. A drink may increase or decrease more than one stat. ======================================================================= XI. Frequently Asked Questions [FAQ] ======================================================================= Oh, boy I'm almost done with this guide. Here are some answers for questions that get asked a lot of times. Here goes. 1. I can't go to the Pokeathlon. How come? - Have you defeated Whitney and got the badge from her? Also, you don't need to encounter Sudowoodo to unlock the Pokeathlon. The Pokeathlon is located west of National Park by the way. 2. Can I enter the same kind of Pokemon in the courses? - Yes, you can enter the exact same Pokemon even if you won a medal already for that course. Yes, you can enter three of the same kind of Pokemon if you want. 3. My Pokemon lost its medals! - If your Pokemon has evolved into a Pokemon specie that has never entered the Pokeathlon, its medals will be 0/5. However, if the form before it has obtained all the medals, that Pokemon specie will still be a medalist Pokemon. Keep in mind that the same kind of Pokemon share the same amount of medals. 4. What Pokemon has the best default stat? - I'd say Arceus and/or other legendaries. 5. What do Data Cards do? - They give you access to the Data PC that shows the records of your Pokeathlon wins/losses and other info. 6. What if I feed a Pokemon ApriJuice that it doesn't like? - Welllll, I don't know the answer to that question yet. My guess is that the stat raise will be less or no effect. 7. I got a good strategy for the Pokeathlon! - I welcome strategies. :) Please e-mail me or comment at my YouTube channel and I'll be sure to credit you. 8. How do I unlock the Supreme Cup?? - You have to beat the Elite Four and the Champion. Then get your National Dex from Professor Oak inside the house in Olivine where you can ride the S.S. Aqua ship. Then go to the Pokeathlon and you'll see that there's a lady on the left on the main counter. ======================================================================= XIIO.
