Welcome to the Items FAQ for PMD2. I have it all for you, from the items to
their effects, to even how to get them. Enjoy.

Also, note: Some items (ie, aura/colored bows) may be in multiple sections.

2. Scarves/Bows/Ribbons**********************************P2******************
Mobile Scarf
A hold item that enables the Pok�mon to move and attack through walls and 
move across inhospitable terrain, such as magma. Beware: the Pok�mon's Belly 
will go down faster while traveling through walls. 

Heal Ribbon
A hold item that speeds up the Pok�mon's natural HP healing. Beware: the 
Pok�mon's Belly will go down faster when it holds this item.

Twist Band
A hold item that prevents the Pok�mon's Attack and Special Attack from being 
reduced. 

Scope Lens
A hold item that boosts the Pok�mon's critical-hit rate for moves and attacks.
 
Patsy Band
A hold item that increases the Pok�mon's chances of taking critical hits 
from enemy moves and attacks.

No-Stick Cap
A hold item that prevents the Pok�mon's items from getting sticky and gunked 
up. 

Pierce Band
A hold item that makes the Pok�mon's thrown items pierce through all targets,
walls, and obstacles without stopping. It has no effect on thrown rocks. 

Joy Ribbon
A hold item that earns the Pok�mon Exp. Points when taking damage.

X-Ray Specs
A team-leader hold item that enables the leader to see the locations of all 
items and enemies on the floor. 

Persim Band
A hold item that prevents the Pok�mon from getting a Confused status.

Power Band
A hold item that boosts the Pok�mon's Attack. 

Pecha Scarf
A hold item that prevents a Poisoned status or a Badly Poisoned status from 
being inflicted on the Pok�mon. 

Insomniscope
A hold item that prevents a Sleep status condition, a Nightmare status, a 
Napping status, or a Yawning status from being inflicted on the Pok�mon. 

Warp Scarf
A hold item that occasionally warps the Pok�mon to another place on the floor.
 
Tight Belt
A hold item that prevents the Pok�mon's Belly from going down each turn. If 
the holder travels through a wall or if it uses a move with a link, its Belly
will still go down.

Sneak Scarf
A hold item that prevents the Pok�mon from awakening sleeping enemies. It 
works only on enemies that are asleep from the start.

Gold Ribbon
An item that has no effect even if held by a Pok�mon. It can be sold for a 
good price. 

Goggle Specs
A hold item that lets the Pok�mon see hidden traps and Pok�mon with Invisible
status. 

Diet Ribbon
A hold item that changes the Pok�mon's status to Hungry Pal, which empties 
its Belly and prevents it from being filled. If the team leader holds this, 
its Belly will go down faster.

Trap Scarf
A hold item that prevents traps from activating when the Pok�mon steps on 
them. 

Racket Band
A hold item that helps awaken sleeping Pok�mon enemies. It only works on 
Pok�mon that were asleep from the start. 

Def. Scarf
A hold item that boosts the Pok�mon's Defense. 

Stamina Band
A hold item that slows how quickly the Pok�mon's Belly goes down. 

Plain Ribbon
An item that has no effect even if held by a Pok�mon. 

Special Band
A hold item that boosts the Pok�mon's Special Attack. 

Zinc Band
A hold item that boosts the Pok�mon's Special Defense. 

Detect Band
A hold item that boosts the Pok�mon's evasiveness. 

Dodge Scarf
A hold item that prevents any thrown item from hitting the Pok�mon. 

Bounce Band
A hold item that makes thrown items bounce straight back from the Pok�mon.
 
Curve Band
A hold item that makes thrown items bounce off walls and fly sideways along 
walls. It has no effect if the Pok�mon has a Pierce status or if it throws a
rock. 

Whiff Specs
A hold item that prevents items thrown by the Pok�mon from hitting another 
Pok�mon. 

No-Aim Scope
A hold item that causes items thrown by the Pok�mon to fly wildly in any 
direction. 

Lock-on Specs
A hold item that boosts the Pok�mon's accuracy when it throws items at 
enemies. 

Munch Belt
A hold item that slightly boosts the Pok�mon's Attack and Special Attack but 
also makes the Pok�mon's Belly go down faster. 

Pass Scarf
A hold item that causes the Pok�mon to shrug off any effects from moves and 
pass them on to an adjacent Pok�mon but also makes the Pok�mon's Belly go 
down every time it happens. Note: the effects of some moves can't be passed. 

Weather Band
A hold item that shields the Pok�mon from weather, as if it's always in Clear
conditions. 

Friend Bow
A team-leader hold item that makes it easier for the leader to recruit 
defeated Pok�mon to the team.

Beauty Scarf
Evolution item.

Sun Ribbon
Evolution item.

Lunar Ribbon
Evolution item.

Silver Bow
A silvery bow with an energetic aura. When held, this bow slightly boosts the
Pok�mon's Attack, Special Attack, Defense, and Special Defense. 

Brown Bow
A brown bow with an energetic aura. When held, this bow slightly boosts the
Pok�mon's Attack, Special Attack, Defense, and Special Defense. 

Red Bow
A reddish bow with an energetic aura. When held, this bow slightly boosts the
Pok�mon's Attack, Special Attack, Defense, and Special Defense. 

Pink Bow
A pale pink bow with an energetic aura. When held, this bow slightly boosts
the Pok�mon's Attack, Special Attack, Defense, and Special Defense. 

Orange Bow
An orange bow with an energetic aura. When held, this bow slightly boosts the
Pok�mon's Attack, Special Attack, Defense, and Special Defense. 

Yellow Bow
A yellow bow with an energetic aura. When held, this bow slightly boosts the
Pok�mon's Attack, Special Attack, Defense, and Special Defense. 

Lime Bow
A lime bow with an energetic aura. When held, this bow slightly boosts the
Pok�mon's Attack, Special Attack, Defense, and Special Defense. 

Green Bow
A green bow with an energetic aura. When held, this bow slightly boosts the
Pok�mon's Attack, Special Attack, Defense, and Special Defense. 

Viridian Bow
A dark green bow with an energetic aura. When held, this bow slightly boosts
the Pok�mon's Attack, Special Attack, Defense, and Special Defense. 

Minty Bow
A mint-colored bow with an energetic aura. When held, this bow slightly boosts
the Pok�mon's Attack, Special Attack, Defense, and Special Defense. 

Sky Blue Bow
A sky blue bow with an energetic aura. When held, this bow slightly boosts
the Pok�mon's Attack, Special Attack, Defense, and Special Defense. 

Blue Bow
A blue bow with an energetic aura. When held, this bow slightly boosts the
Pok�mon's Attack, Special Attack, Defense, and Special Defense. 

Cobalt Bow
A navy blue bow with an energetic aura. When held, this bow slightly boosts
the Pok�mon's Attack, Special Attack, Defense, and Special Defense. 

Purple Bow
A purple bow with an energetic aura. When held, this bow slightly boosts the
Pok�mon's Attack, Special Attack, Defense, and Special Defense. 

Violet Bow
A violet bow with an energetic aura. When held, this bow slightly boosts the
Pok�mon's Attack, Special Attack, Defense, and Special Defense. 

Fuchsia Bow
A deep pink bow with an energetic aura. When held, this bow slightly boosts
the Pok�mon's Attack, Special Attack, Defense, and Special Defense.

3. Recruitment Rate Items**********************************P3****************
Golden Mask
A legendary mask, rumored to be from a long-lost civilization. It has a 
beautiful glow that stirs up the emotions of all who see it. When held by the
team leader, it is easier to recruit defeated Pok�mon to the team. 

Amber Tear
An amber liquid that sparkles like crystal-clear tears, rumored to be the
most precious of even the rarest treasures. When held by the team leader, it
is easier to recruit defeated Pok�mon to the team. 

Friend Bow
A team-leader hold item that makes it easier for the leader to recruit 
defeated Pok�mon to the team.

Icy Flute
An unusual flute that plays notes that are clear as ice, rumored to steal
even the iciest of hearts. When held by the team leader, it is easier to
recruit defeated Pok�mon to the team. 

Fiery Drum
An exotic drum that beats out rhythms that burn with fiery passion, rumored
to steal fiery hearts. When held by the team leader, it is easier to recruit
defeated Pok�mon to the team. 

Terra Cymbal
A marvelous cymbal with a colossal crash that shakes the ground, rumored to
steal even the most grounded hearts. When held by the team leader, it is
easier to recruit defeated Pok�mon to the team. 

Aqua-Monica
A remarkable harmonica that plays melodies serene as flowing water, rumored
to steal watery hearts. When held by the team leader, this item makes it
easier to recruit defeated Pok�mon to the team. 

Rock Horn
A mystifying horn that blasts sound at rock-shattering volume, rumored to
steal the rockiest of hearts. When held by the team leader, it is easier to
recruit defeated Pok�mon to the team. 

Grass Cornet
A festive cornet that is well suited for tunes that carry across grassy fields,
rumored to steal hearts of grass. When held by the team leader, it is easier 
to recruit defeated Pok�mon to the team. 

Sky Melodica
A merry melodica that plays tunes airy as cloudless skies, rumored to steal 
flighty hearts. When held by the team leader, it is easier to recruit 
defeated Pok�mon to the team.

Mystery Part
A mysterious mechanical part of unknown purpose. It has lain undisturbed for 
eons, veiled by legendary mystery. 

Secret Slab
An ancient stone slab inscribed with what seems to be prehistoric legend, 
rumored to hold an incredible secret that has never yet been deciphered. 

4. Throwing Items**********************************P4************************
Stick
A weapon to be hurled. When hurled, it flies in a straight line to inflict 
damage on any Pok�mon it hits. 

Iron Thorn
A weapon to be hurled. When hurled, it flies in a straight line to inflict 
damage on any Pok�mon it hits. 

Silver Spike
A weapon to be hurled. When hurled, it flies in a straight line to inflict 
damage on any Pok�mon it hits. 

Gold Fang
A weapon to be hurled. When hurled, it flies in a straight line to inflict 
damage on any Pok�mon it hits. 

Cacnea Spike
A weapon to be hurled. When hurled, it flies in a straight line to inflict 
damage on any Pok�mon it hits. 

Corsola Twig
A weapon to be hurled. When hurled, it flies in a straight line to inflict 
damage on any Pok�mon it hits. 

Gravelerock
A weapon to be thrown. When thrown, it flies high in an arc to clear 
obstacles and strike the target. It is not affected by Pierce or Long Toss 
statuses. 

Geo Pebble
A weapon to be thrown. When thrown, it flies high in an arc to clear 
obstacles and strike the target. It is not affected by Pierce or Long Toss 
statuses. 

Gold Thorn
A brilliantly shining thorn crafted from solid gold. It is a fantastically 
precious item that gives its owner serious bragging rights. When hurled, it 
flies in a straight line to inflict damage on any Pok�mon it hits. 

Rare Fossil
A wondrous fossil that seems to brim with prehistoric energy. It is also a 
throwing weapon. When thrown, it flies high in an arc to clear obstacles and
strike the target. It is not affected by Pierce or Long Toss statuses. 

5. EXP. Boosters**********************************P5*************************
Miracle Chest
A hold item that earns the Pok�mon extra Experience Points. 

Wonder Chest
A hold item that earns the Pok�mon bonus Experience Points.

6. Drinks/Berries/Seeds**********************************P6******************
Heal Seed
A food item that heals all status problems. It also slightly fills the 
Pok�mon's Belly. 

Oran Berry
A food item that restores HP. It also fills the Pok�mon's Belly slightly. 

Sitrus Berry
A food item that restores HP. If the Pok�mon already has full HP, it will 
slightly boost its Maximum HP. It also slightly fills the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Eyedrop Seed
A food item that grants Eyedrops status, which reveals Pok�mon with an 
Invisible condition and hidden traps. It also slightly fills the Pok�mon's 
Belly. 

Reviver Seed
An item that revives a fainted Pok�mon, then becomes a Plain Seed after use.
It can be used only by a Pok�mon that knows the Item Master IQ Skill. 

Blinker Seed
A food item that gives Blinker status to the user, which makes it unable to
see other Pok�mon, unclaimed items, and the ground. It also slightly fills
the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Doom Seed
A food item that reduces the Pok�mon's level by 1. It also slightly fills the
Pok�mon's Belly. 

X-Eye Seed
A food item that gives Cross-Eyed status to the user. It also slightly fills
the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Life Seed
A food item that slightly boosts the Pok�mon's Maximum HP. It also slightly
fills the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Rawst Berry
A food item that heals a Burn status condition. It also slightly fills the
Pok�mon's Belly. 

Hunger Seed
A food item that slightly reduces the Pok�mon's maximum Belly size. If it's
eaten by someone besides a team leader, the user's status also changes to
Hungry Pal. It also slightly fills the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Quick Seed
A food item that boosts the Pok�mon's Movement Speed by 1 level. It also
slightly fills the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Pecha Berry
A food item that heals a Poisoned status condition or a Badly Poisoned status
condition. It also slightly fills the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Cheri Berry
A food item that heals a Paralysis status condition. It also slightly fills
the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Totter Seed
A food item that inflicts a Confused status condition, which makes the user's
movements and attacks go astray. It also slightly fills the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Sleep Seed
A food item that inflicts a Sleep status condition, which makes the user
incapable of action. It also slightly fills the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Plain Seed
A food item that has no special effect. It slightly fills the Pok�mon's Belly.
 
Warp Seed
A food item that warps the Pok�mon to a different place on the floor. It also
slightly fills the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Blast Seed
A food item that makes the user breathe high-damage fire at a Pok�mon the
user is facing, whether friend or enemy. It also slightly fills the Pok�mon's
Belly. 

Ginseng
A drink that boosts the power of whatever move the user currently has as the
set move. This effect works only for the team leader and won't affect certain
kinds of moves. It also slightly fills the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Joy Seed
A food item that raises the Pok�mon's level by 1. It also slightly fills the
Pok�mon's Belly.

Chesto Berry
A food item that gives Sleepless status to the user, which prevents sleep. It
also slightly fills the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Stun Seed
A food item that inflicts a Petrified status. A Pok�mon with the Petrified
status is incapable of action until it takes damage. It also slightly fills
the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Gabite Scale
A scale taken from Gabite, rumored to be a cure-all for all afflictions. It
heals all status problems. It also slightly fills the Pok�mon's Belly.

Golden Seed
A perplexing seed that sparkles with pure golden rays. It boosts the Pok�mon's
level by 5 when eaten. It also slightly fills the Pok�mon's Belly.

Vile Seed
A food item that reduces the Pok�mon's Defense and Special Defense to their
lowest levels. It also slightly fills the Pok�mon's Belly.

Pure Seed
A food item that warps the Pok�mon to the room with the floor's stairway. It
also slightly fills the Pok�mon's Belly.

Violent Seed
A food item that boosts the Pok�mon's Attack and Special Attack to their
highest levels. It also slightly fills the Pok�mon's Belly.

Vanish Seed
A food item that gives Invisible status to the user. It also slightly fills
the Pok�mon's Belly.

Max Elixir
A drink that completely restores the PP of all the user's moves. It also
slightly fills the Pok�mon's Belly.

Protein
A drink that permanently raises the Pok�mon's Attack. It also slightly fills
the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Calcium
A drink that permanently raises the Pok�mon's Special Attack. It also
slightly fills the Pok�mon's Belly.

Iron
A drink that permanently raises the Pok�mon's Defense. It also slightly fills
the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Nectar
A supersweet nectar that, when consumed, slightly fills the Pok�mon's Belly.
It will also raise the IQ of a team member.

Zinc
A drink that permanently raises the Pok�mon's Special Defense. It also
slightly fills the Pok�mon's Belly.

7. Belly-fillers**********************************P7*************************
Apple
A food item that somewhat fills the Pok�mon's Belly. If the Pok�mon already
has a full Belly, it will slightly enlarge its Belly size. 

Big Apple
A food item that amply fills the Pok�mon's Belly. If the Pok�mon already has
a full Belly, it will slightly enlarge its Belly size. 

Grimy Food
A food item that somewhat fills the Pok�mon's Belly but will also inflict a
variety of status problems because it's covered in filthy grime. Be careful
of what you eat!

Huge Apple
A food item that completely fills the Pok�mon's Belly. It also slightly
enlarges the Pok�mon's Belly size.

Golden Apple
A miraculous apple that glows with an alluring golden aura. It's far too
precious and beautiful to even consider eating! If it were eaten, however,
it would completely fill and greatly enlarge the Pok�mon's Belly.

White Gummi
A food item that permanently raises the IQ of a team member. Normal-type
Pok�mon like it most. It should be eaten in a dungeon for best results. It
also somewhat fills the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Red Gummi
A food item that permanently raises the IQ of a team member. Fire-type
Pok�mon like it most. It should be eaten in a dungeon for best results. It
also somewhat fills the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Blue Gummi
A food item that permanently raises the IQ of a team member. Water-type
Pok�mon like it most. It should be eaten in a dungeon for best results. It
also somewhat fills the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Grass Gummi
A food item that permanently raises the IQ of a team member. Grass-type
Pok�mon like it most. It should be eaten in a dungeon for best results. It
also somewhat fills the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Yellow Gummi
A food item that permanently raises the IQ of a team member. Electric-type
Pok�mon like it most. It should be eaten in a dungeon for best results. It
also somewhat fills the Pok�mon's Belly.

Clear Gummi
A food item that permanently raises the IQ of a team member. Ice-type Pok�mon
like it most. It should be eaten in a dungeon for best results. It also
somewhat fills the Pok�mon's Belly. 

Orange Gummi
A food item that permanently raises the IQ of a team member. Fighting-type 
Pok�mon like it most. It should be eaten in a dungeon for best results. It

Pink Gummi
A food item that permanently raises the IQ of a team member. Poison-type
Pok�mon like it most. It should be eaten in a dungeon for best results. It

Brown Gummi
A food item that permanently raises the IQ of a team member. Ground-type
Pok�mon like it most. It should be eaten in a dungeon for best results. It

Sky Gummi

Wonder Gummi
A food item with a curious texture unlike any other Gummi. It permanently
raises the IQ of a team member. It should be eaten in a dungeon for best
results. It also somewhat fills the Pok�mon's Belly.

Heal Seed
A food item that heals all status problems. It also slightly fills the 
Pok�mon's Belly. 

Oran Berry

target. It may also afflict the targeted enemy with a Cringe status condition,

Rock Climb

A climate-control item that changes the dungeon floor's weather to a Hail
condition. 

Sunny Orb
A climate-control item that changes the dungeon floor's weather to a Sunny
condition. 

Rainy Orb
A climate-control item that changes the dungeon floor's weather to a Rain
condition. 

Evasion Orb
A stat-boosting item that raises the user's evasiveness by 1 level. -- Range:
User 

Sandy Orb
A climate-control item that changes the dungeon floor's weather to a
Sandstorm condition. 

Rocky Orb
A weapon item that inflicts damage on the target. It also reduces the
target's Movement Speed by 1 level. -- Range: Enemy in front 

Snatch Orb
An item that gives Snatch status to the user. This status lets the user steal
the effects of all moves used by Pok�mon on the floor. 

See-Trap Orb
A sensory item that reveals all hidden traps in the same room as the user. --
Range: User 

Mug Orb
A weapon item that inflicts damage on the target, even at a distance. It also
steals the target's hold item and makes it the user's. This added effect works
only if the user is not holding an item. -- Range: Enemy in line of sight 

Rebound Orb
An item that changes the user's status to Mini Counter, which enables the user
to make certain types of moves and enemy attacks rebound, returning part of
the damage. 

Lob Orb
A weapon item that inflicts damage on a target up to 2 tiles away. -- Range:
Enemy up to 2 tiles away 

Switcher Orb
An item that makes a distant Pok�mon switch places with the user. -- Range:
Line of sight 

Blowback Orb
A weapon item that sends a distant Pok�mon flying back, taking damage if it
then hits a wall or another Pok�mon. -- Range: Line of sight 

Warp Orb
An item that warps a distant Pok�mon to a different spot on the floor. --
Range: Line of sight 

Transfer Orb
An item that transforms the target into a different Pok�mon. -- Range: Enemy
in front 

Slow Orb
A status item that reduces the Movement Speed of all enemies in the room by 1
level. -- Range: Enemies in room 

Quick Orb
An item that boosts the Movement Speed of the user and team members in the
room by 1 level. -- Range: All team members in room 

Luminous Orb
A mapping item that reveals the entire floor to the user. -- Range: User 

Petrify Orb
An item that afflicts all enemies in the room with a Petrified status
condition. A Pok�mon that has the Petrified status is incapable of action
until it takes damage. 

Stayaway Orb
An item that afflicts an enemy in the user's line of sight with a Petrified
status, then warps it near the floor's stairs. 

Pounce Orb
An item that makes the user pounce toward the first Pok�mon in its line of
sight, no matter how distant. If there are no Pok�mon in that direction, the
user leaps to the wall. -- Range: Special 

Trawl Orb
An item that pulls all items on the floor to the user. Beware: if Kecleon has
a shop on the floor, pulling items away will be seen as an attempt to steal
from Kecleon! -- Range: User 

Cleanse Orb
An item that cleans sticky, gunked-up items, restoring them to original
condition. -- Range: All team members on floor 

Decoy Orb
An item that afflicts the enemy with a Decoy status condition. The target
with a Decoy status is transformed into a decoy that attracts the attacks of
its own allies. 

Slumber Orb
An item that afflicts all enemies in the room with a Sleep status condition.
A Pok�mon that has a Sleep status is incapable of action. 

Totter Orb
An item that afflicts all enemies in the room with a Confused status
condition. A Pok�mon with the Confused status will find that its movements
and attacks go astray. 

Two-Edge Orb
An attack item that cuts the HP of all enemies in the room to just 1 HP. But
it also halves the user's HP for each enemy that it affects. -- Range:
Enemies in room 

Silence Orb
An item that afflicts a distant target with a Muzzled status condition. A
Pok�mon with the Muzzled status is incapable of using moves or items that
require the use of its mouth. 

Escape Orb
An escape item that instantly warps the team out of the dungeon. -- Range:

Scanner Orb
A sensory item that reveals the location of all items on the floor. -- Range:

Radar Orb

Drought Orb

One-Room Orb
A destructive item that tears down all walls on the floor, turning the floor
into one vast, open room. -- Range: Special 

Fill-In Orb
A landfill item that turns any water or lava in front of the user into a
solid floor tile. -- Range: Special 

Trapper Orb
An item that sets a trap on the user's tile. The type of trap is randomly
determined. -- Range: User 

Itemizer Orb
A special item that transforms the target into an item. -- Range: Enemy in
front 

Hurl Orb
A weapon item that hurls the target toward another enemy Pok�mon to inflict
damage. -- Range: Enemy in front 

Mobile Orb
An item that gives a Mobile status to the user. A Pok�mon with the Mobile
status can move through walls and gullies and walk on lava and water. 

Stairs Orb
A sensory item that shows the location of the floor's stairway. -- Range:

Longtoss Orb
An item that gives Long Toss status to the user, which makes any item thrown
by the user fly until it hits a wall or a Pok�mon. 

Pierce Orb
An item that gives Pierce status to the user, which makes any items thrown by
the user pierce through walls and all Pok�mon it hits without stopping. 

Spurn Orb
An item that warps all enemies in the room to random locations on the
floor. -- Range: Enemies in room 

Foe-Hold Orb
An item that afflicts all enemies on the floor with a Petrified status
condition. A Pok�mon with the Petrified status is incapable of action until
it takes damage. 

All-Mach Orb
A stat-boosting item that boosts the Movement Speed of the user and team
members on the floor by 1 level. -- Range: Team 

Foe-Fear Orb
An item that afflicts all enemies in the room with a Terrified status
condition. A Pok�mon with the Terrified status flees from other Pok�mon. 

All-Hit Orb
An item that gives the user and team members in the room a Focus Energy status.
A Pok�mon with the Focus Energy status will have its critical-hit ratio
boosted to its highest level. 

Foe-Seal Orb
An item that afflicts all enemies in the room with a Paused status condition.
A Pok�mon with the Paused condition stops moving and simply observes what's
going on for a while.

Link Box
A marvelous box that lets the user link moves together and delink them again.
Note: Moves connected with a link automatically lose their link if either
move's PP drops to zero.
