At a point I noticed a bunch of people across many forums making topics claiming to be glitch guides. But they only had a few glitches that were known to most people, and the topics were unorganized. So, I thought I would make one, so I started one using the knowledge of glitches I have. This guide has glitches for Single Player mode, and Multiplayer mode. I know some people will hate me for this because glitchers will read this, and have more things to use on wifi, but guides for glitches will pop-up eventually, so why not have one with Glitches, and their counters. I am not a glitch abuser. I only hunt them, and try to find counters for them. Single player glitches are fun to use, along with multiplayer ones if you are playing a glitch battle with your friends. -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------Legal Stuff---------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- This guide was made from by me, and I only take credit for the things I found. If I put something here you found, please feel free to email me, and I will update it. But some glitches like going through the walls in Combat Hall, I will not give credit for the reason that people are accidentally doing it every day, without looking at a guide or seeing a post on how to do it, so therefore they are finding it also, eventhough they weren't the first. This guide is made for the game Metroid Prime Hunters, an awesome creation by Nintendo. -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------Terms------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- These are some of the things I will be referring to throughout the guide, so it might be good to red these over if you do not know them. Explosive Push Aim you cannon towards the ground at a 45 degree angle and fire an explosive weapon. These include Battlehammer, Missiles, Charged Missiles, and a charged Magmaul shot. The explosive blast will push you back, and for certain glitches, will push you through a wall. -------------------------------------------------------- Bomb Glide As Sylux, go into alt form and fly off a ledge, and lay bombs quickly, and upon laying every 3rd bomb, you get pushed up. If done fast enough, you can glide through the air. But be warned, you only have so many bombs before it stops recharging as soon as you run out. But after waiting a few seconds, they will fill back up and you will be able to do another chain of bombs. This can be used to get to good sniping locations, and to get to certain shadow worlds. -------------------------------------------------------- Double Bomb Jump As Samus, go into alt form. Lay a bomb, and right before it goes off, lay another bomb, and when at the top of your jump from going because of the first bomb, lay another, then when you go back down, the second bomb you laid, will go off, and send you back up, and the third bomb will go off as you hit it, sending you up more. This is used for skipping the gate at Arcterra, and for things like the Stupid Spire glitch. -------------------------------------------------------- Wall Hugging There are points everywhere that have walls that are slanted. Most walls at an angle, you can run along. Some are less slanted than others, and you have to hold 2 of the directional buttons towards them to be able to climb them. Such walls can be found at Alinos Gateway. Go to the arch by the waterfall, and you can climb it, and run along the walls. The same thing can be done at many other walls at many other areas. -------------------------------------------------------- Weavel's Super Jump As Weavel, get the Battlehammer, then look at the ground. Then fire two shots at the ground, one right after the other, and you will be pushed up some. Then jump. Then go into alt form. Doing all of this will get you pushed up a great distance, and can be used for things like getting to the Ice Hive death alt avoider spot, and for things like the combat hall glitch where you go to the outer area in matches with more than just 2 people. -------------------------------------------------------- Weavel's Corner Turrent As Weavel, go to a corner, and go into alt form. Then if it is positioned right, then you can squeeze in between the corner and the turrent. Depending on which corner it is, you might just go through the wall, or nothing will happen yet, or not at all. If you don't immediately go through a wall at the corner, you might have to adjust your camera angle a certain way, and run in the direction of the corner, then you might go through, if the corner has bad collision properties. Some of the corners include the one you use to go through the middle pillar at Arcterra Gateway, and another would be the one at Alinos Gateway where you go under a floor. -------------------------------------------------------- Alt Form Biped Trick Explained in the General Glitch area. -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- ----------------------Section 2------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- --------------------General Glitches-------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- General glitches are glitches that tend to be able to be used in multiple levels, or just don't fit in the other sections. Fusion Glitch... Pick someone to host the game (this will be the person that can see the mixed characters) Have up to 3 people join the game. This glitch can be done with 2, 3, or 4 people. Remember the order people joined. The host may choose any character he likes because the host does not participate in the fusing, only sees it. This glitch makes it look like one character with the abilities of another. Have everyone else pick the character that they want it to look like for right now. Make sure that once everyone picks their character, THEY DO NOT CHANGE IT OR GO INTO THE MESSAGE BOX. (IMPORTANT) Once everyone has done this, have the host abandon the game. Then the host re-makes the game and have everyone join in the same order they did in the last game. The host may pick any character. When the others get in the game, they need to STAY AT THE CHARACTER SELECTION SCREEN (IMPORTANT) Even though the other have not picked a character, their imprint from the character of the last game will show up and the host is able to start the game. The host counts down and says "3, 2, 1, Go!" and starts the game. and when the others hear this, they need to count to 10 normally (10, 9, 8, 7...) and then choose their character (This character is the one that will fuse with the other and will have this characters abilities) The hosts job is that right when he starts the game and can get into it, SPAWN IN. Then once the others get into the game and have spawned in, bam! Everyone else can see each other fused characters but you cannot see your own. To you, it just looks like you are playing with the character you just chose but to everyone else you like your last character with this characters abilities. -------------------------------------------------------- Keeping a perfect record... If you get the black screen of death or D/C and you turn off your game. When turning it back on, skip everything and go strait to a multicard battle. Fight a match against bots, and win. After that, go ahead and check your profile, it will be as if you never played the match that you got D/C or got a BSOD in, but with 1 more win for multicard battles. No points lost, and connection history never goes down. This does work. -------------------------------------------------------- Super Aiming Glitch... Use the imperialist, and use up all of your ammo, then repeatedly push the thing for it on the touch screen, until you hear a sound like you zoomed in. This can help with your aiming, and is good for things like the missiles from Samus. -------------------------------------------------------- Shadow Freezing... As Noxus, get the Judicator, and charge it up. Look toward your feet and fire. If someone was in front of you at any distance, they will freeze. Also, you can jump and do it, to get the people who are jumpers, or at a higher elevation. -------------------------------------------------------- Alt Tunnel Biped Trick... As anyone you can go to an alt tunnel and get inside of it while being in biped mode. To do so, turn your back to one, aim your gun at a 45 degree angle towards the ground and shoot and explosive while running backwards. You will be pushed into the tunnel, and be able to run around. But some tunnels are harder to get through, so for ones where you can't freely run around in, you have to use more missile pushes to get through it. Explosive pushes can include missiles, charged missiles, battlehammer, and charged magmaul. Some are harder to do, and some require bigger explosive pushes than others. -------------------------------------------------------- Weavel Teleportation... This glitch requires 2 people, and one to play as Weavel in a match. Go up to a corner (corners averaging around 90 degree angles work the most), and have one person run directly against the corner. Then have the second person (must be Weavel)jump ontop of them and run at the corner also. Then the person at the top goes into alt form. The person at the bottom will teleport forward through the wall. If you do it wrong at all, or the corner doesn't work for the trick, then the player ontop will just fall down to the side of the bottom person, and the turrent will attack the bottom person. Places that have been found to have shadow worlds found by this trick can be found in the 2 player section. -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- -----------------Multiplayer Glitches------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- These are glitches you will be experiencing from others or doing yourself. Combat hall... (Anyone 1 vs. 1 only) Go to the thin hallway and stand by the corner with your back against the middle block sticking out of the wall closest to the jump pad. Walk backwards into the block and charge a missile or the magmaul or battlehammer and aim it at 45 degrees in front of you. Release the missile while walking backwards. You should fly through the wall. Jump Diagonally Up and Right in midair to avoid falling. You should land on a corner. (anyone 1 vs. 1 only) Same as the first except it's reversed. Go to the opposite corner nearest the affinity weapon in the small hallway and jump diagonally up-left when shot through. (Weavel only) Walk backwards and release missile, battlehammer, or magmaul at the ground into the first alt-form tunnel. Move backward until you get near the blue health there. Then turn to alt and hold right. Try to land on the little indent in the blackness. (Weavel only) Missile, battlehammer, or magmaul push into the first or second alt tunnel and then turn to alt pushing right. You should land in the wall between the main area and the mini-hall. (anyone) This is another glitch I found (I actually found it on accident, the first week I had hunters), that can be used for an easier time crossing. When your at either side of the second morph ball tunnel. Jump at the outer area of the tunnel and hit forwards and left if it is to your left, and right if its at your right. If you are doing it right, you should float across it. Its good for chasing and stuff. (Weavel only) When you are inside the middle wall at the level, go to either edge of the middle wall, and face towards the area that you can get into in 1 vs. 1 matches with a missile push. Then do Weavel's super jump. When you get to the jumping part, and the alt form part, hold the up button, and you should land in the outer area. If not, try again. From the outer area, you can repeat the process, and go back into the middle wall. This can be done on both sides of the arena. -------------------------------------------------------- Data Shrine... (anyone) At the outer areas of the level, go to the edges of the alt tunnels. Do the Alt Form Biped Trick, from inside, you can shoot at things above the tunnel. So if it is a bounty match, you can sit there and snipe at people coming towards the octolith. -------------------------------------------------------- Processor Core... (anyone, Weavel preferred) I found this one.....You can do the charged missile push while running backwards at the morph ball tunnel leading to the double damage, then you can continue to use missile pushes or Battlehammer if you are Weavel to go through it, and then at one point you should fall through and be in the shadow world of the level. Another thing to do is if you are Weavel go into alt form and have the top half jump into the main area if you are in the tunnel. -------------------------------------------------------- Ice hive... (Weavel only) For you deathalt haters, be Weavel and go to the ledge (with the shield thing and health spawn) near the box thing, and turn your back to the box thing and look at the ground. Then fire two battlehammer shots, then jump backwards, and while holding the down button, go into alt form at the top of the jump, and you should land on the box. (anyone) Any who, I know another avoider one......right at the inside of the doorway to the ledge that is the start for the avoider one above, you will see a little ledge....there are various ways to get there, but an easy way is to just do a missile push and a jump.....then there, I don't think any deathalt users can get you, except for a spire one, and Samus double bomb jumper....(which is unlikely, or you have time to run some or shoot them) (anyone)Now for the shadow world glitch. Go to the jump pad where the double damage thing is. And look up and shoot at the walls, you will find one that your shots go through. Use the jump pad to get up to it, and jump into it. Then now the tricky part, you have to try to land in the tunnel that you got into the room by, and if you succeed, you are in the shadow world.....if you need extra help getting to it, go into alt form when your still above it. -------------------------------------------------------- Sic Transit... (Weavel only) To get to a shadow world here, play as Weavel and go to the lowest hall and at one end, there is a little room that is orange and has a pillar at the right side. Now jump up to the top and hold forward, you should stay up, and the screen should shake. Then go into alt form, and have the top half jump forward and to the right. You should land on an invisible floor. And while on the invisible floor, run to the room with the cloak(without running back into the hall). Then as long as you don't die, or go back to the hall, you will remain in the shadow world of the level. (anyone) Another way to get to that shadow world is to go to the opposite end of the main hall, there is an indent where a door is in single player mode. Face the wall that the crystal is at and run forward and jump. After the right positioning, you should go through the wall, and onto an invisible floor. And from there you can shoot the floor and see what is solid, and what is not. (anyone) From that shadow world go the indent where the door is in single player while in the wall area, jump around the room past the non-solid part of the floor and from the side into the block. You will remain until you jump, run out, die, or someone blasts you out. (Part 1, anyone. The rest, Weavel only) Go to where the double damage is, look to the corner of the arena where it looks like there is a v shaped ledge. Get at the point of the top of the ramp by the block, and run to the right and forward, you should begin to float across the wall, and when you get to the corner, jump up onto the ledge this part was found by HoboHopper. Or another way found by me, which is Weavel only is to go to the corner and jump, then at the top of your jump press and hold forward, you will stay floating, and while holding forward, go into alt, and back, then you can jump, and go into alt again to get up onto the ledge. Or as Spire do his wall climb and get enough speed, and you can get onto the ledge from rolling to it from the side. For the next parts, you have to be Weavel. Go up the right part of the ledge (the one that heads in the direction you were originally in at the start of this glitch). When at the top, run left and forward, go into alt, and the tricky part is that you will go over the wall, but from there you have to land on the tiny part past the wall. From there you have 3 choices. Choice 1: While on the small ledge, look up at the small flat edge at a spot that you could not get to while on the main ledge, jump towards it and you will go up farther, but some of the farther part is not slid, so be careful. Then jump off from there and into the little hall, and you will be in a shadow world that makes only that little hall invisible, and the rest of the area normal, and is great for sniping from the door. Choice 2: Jump off the ledge, and do the hard task of landing inside of the block that the double damage is on. Choice 3: Run down on the ledge sticking out past the wall, then up the other side, and you can either snipe from there, or you can jump off, and into the upper hall of the arena and you will be in another shadow world similar to the last one, that is only invisible in the hall, and the rest of the level is normal, and it is great for sniping. -------------------------------------------------------- Transfer Lock... (Weavel only) This is for the large version only! In the outer area, you can get to the side of a ledge, and it stops you. Somehow you would go in and out of alt, and you might go past the barrier, and be able to snipe people that are in the main area, but the main area will be seen as a shadow world, so you will have to mainly rely on the zoom-in function of the imperialist when you are focused near a target. I would explain it better, but I have only done this once, and I have not been able to repeat it. -------------------------------------------------------- Subterranean (Weavel Only) Go to where the health spawn is. When under the tilted block, jump. When at the top of your jump, go into alt form. You should go through the wall in front of you. From there you can snipe people and stuff, but you are not invincible there. There are cracks for people to shoot through. -------------------------------------------------------- Harvester... (Sylux only) Use the jump pads to get to the outer top areas where the cloak is located at, go into alt form and do a bomb glide to one of the huge things sticking out of the side of the arena. You should land on a small slanted ledge. Go into biped and walk to the end. Then wait a second for the bombs to fully recharge, then go into alt form and do the tricky part of doing a bomb glide to the unseen platform that has the two jump pads that is around the corner. Doing it in node mode was said to make it easier. (Weavel only) While playing as Weavel go to where the Cloaking is located on any side. Now jump down onto the ledge with the Jump pad in the center and go right until you see a ledge. Jump on top of this ledge and you should see a smaller ledge to the right with a small crevice in between both ledges. In this crevice start walking into the wall and jump up and go into Alternate form. The body should be beneath the Turret so Halfturret Slice into the wall repeatedly with the Turret above you. Eventually you will fall through the wall into the Shadow World. (Spire only) While playing as Spire, go to a cloak spawn and go into alt form. Go to one of the sides climbing the walls, left for example. Climb the walls until you get to the thing sticking out of the side of the level. Then go into biped mode and jump around the edge, doing this takes practice, but it works. You will land on the ledge, and from there you can go to the wall, and go into alt and go to the rest of the shadow world. (Thanks youallsuck for inspiring me to check out this part of the level again) -------------------------------------------------------- Council Chamber... (anyone) One found by Dragonx24 is, you go to where there is the imperialist spawn point, then fall down to the bottom of that box thing, and then if you are looking to the area out side of it, go to your right and put your back to the corner. And begin running backwards. Set your aim to the bottom corner part you see in front of you and set your aim a bit to the left. Charge up your missile and fire. If you did it right, you will go through the wall and fall to the area below, and be in the shadow world. This can be done at Alinos Perch also, but you will just fall to your death, unless you just jump backwards, and be at the spot where the jump pad is, but that is only good for a short escape, or trick. -------------------------------------------------------- Fuel Stack (anyone) Go to the bottom area of the main room where there are two blue health spawns right across from each other. Go to the start of the slanted ramp and look towards the closest spawn. Then jump towards the wall. If you are on the right side, then you should go through the wall. And then try to fall towards the middle of the arena, that way you can start to float up some, then move to the side a bit to land on the ring platform before you either die or go back up into the main area out of the shadow world. (anyone) Go into the very middle, and as you go up, quickly go in and out of alt form. You should go into the top without dying. But this doesn't always work, and sometimes takes practice. -------------------------------------------------------- Stasis Bunker Go to the main room, and onto the jump pad. Look to where there is a hallway, and go to the missile spawn above it. Go into alt form and try to attack the left side, at a point you should go through and fall into the shadow world. Another way I have found to be easier is to leave your turrent in the bottom area, and use the jump pad to go up, and do the slice at the left side of the indent as soon as you get up and close to it. -------------------------------------------------------- Celestial Gateway At this level there is a random glitch that makes people appear as if they are in a shadow world. This level itself glitches up, and usually after someone goes through a teleporter, someone becomes invisible. Though on their screen they appear normal, they might be invisible. It is not a shadow world, and is not cloak, or at least shouldn't be. If someone knows how to do/get either, email me with instructions on how to. -------------------------------------------------------- Alinos Gateway... (anyone, spire preferred) Spire in the wall, this can be done as anyone, just some are harder than others. Go to where the imperialist is, drop to the lava, you will see a crack between the rock and the stairway thing, run to the end of the crack and go into alt form and you can go into the rock. (anyone) You can go to the arch by the waterfall, and run into the arch, and you should start to float up. It can be done at nearly all points on the arch, and from there, you can wall walk to certain areas. This can be done from other spots also, but they can be seen a lot easier. (Weavel only) Another is where you play as Weavel, then go onto the dirt area and at one of the health spawn area, you will see a corner between the wall, and the block thing. Run to the corner, then stop walking, then go into alt form and kind of run to the corner, and you should fall into a small space between the turrent and the corner. Then change the view so it is like the camera is inside of the wall looking at you, and then hold down and right, and you should sink through the floor. Then you will fall into some lava, so from there go to biped, then back to alt form and let the top sit on the turrent. And let your turrent unleash its furry on those above. Or you can do two things. The first is run to where the indent is in single player, and you can jump up into it from the lower area, and be in an area that doesn't deal damage, and is good for sniping. Or the other thing to do is, from the start of being under the floor is go to the right, and you can run around the side of the arena, and you can eventually get to being inside of the waterfall, and/or the pillars by it. Check to make sure ground is solid by shooting at it ahead of you, and you will see your shot stop real close if it is solid, if it just keeps going for a while, the ground you shot at isn't solid. (anyone) On the side of the arena where there is the imperialist, there is a chain of rocks by a health spawn. At certain points, you can do a missile push while running backwards to get inside of the rocks. (Weavel only) Near that chain of rocks is a jump pad, as you go on it, continue to run towards it and you can land on a little chain thing that is higher, from there, look at the wall, there is a point that sticks out, jump and go into alt towards the right side of it. Go back to biped, get as close the corner of the point while running up and forward, go into alt, and you top side will land on another surface that you can run around on a lot easier. From there, you can looks down to where the platforms lead to(the ones that sink in single player), and then go to the very top of the ledge and run over the top and you will begin to wall, look down towards the visible floor and you will see a place where it goes from a curve to a strait line, and back to a curve. Try to land on the black area right at the edge of the strait line. You will be in the indent where the door is in single player. (Weavel only) Go to the ledge with the imperialist. Look to side at the pillar. Run at the corner made from it and a wall. When you can't go up anymore, jump and be on top of the pillar. From there you will see a corner, look at it and look up and run forward, you will run up it to a point and stop. Then from there go into alt form and do the slice attack, and you will be on a differently sloped area of the wall. From there you can run along the wall, and when you get to a point where you can see a line running down the wall at an angle, go to the very top of the wall and jump over, and go into alt form to avoid fall damage, then you will be on an invisible floor of lava. From there you can run in the outer area to be behind the waterfall. -------------------------------------------------------- Arcterra Gateway... (anyone) I will start with the stairway one. There are several ways to do this, but an easy way (also found by Dragonx24) is to get on a jump pad and try to land right at the corner between the top and as you land hold down and right, and you should go through, and into the staircase. (anyone)Next up is the inside the rock trick at the middle spire. At the middle spire, go into the crack and go into alt form. Roll towards the crack and you should go inside of it. Don't go too far or you will fall, but when your inside, go back to biped form, and you got a great spot for sniping and stuff. (Part 1+2, anyone part 3, sylux)Now for a 3 way one I found. It was actually found by ME a few a few months ago. Go to the top of the arena, then you will see 2 parts sticking out of the walls on opposite sides of the arena. Go to the one with the blue light. Then jump up and into the small area. While there and your facing the wall, turn left and jump forward, you should go bit farther and be near the edge. Now look down and towards the wall again. Run forward, then as you run forward, very slowly turn left, bit by bit. When you are facing the right angle and are running forward, you should go through the wall. Then from there, you have 2 choices. First choice is to continue to go in the direction your facing and immediately jump. If you are fast enough, you should land in a hall that is away from the main level. The second option is to fall the opposite way. You will see a small bit of a snow pile sticking out. Land on it. And from there, you have another 2 options. The first one is to start falling, then jump back into the level. You should be inside of a huge rock/pillar. The other is if you are sylux. Go into alt form and fly off in the direction of the "invisible hall", and spread your bomb jumps a bit, but not too much. If you place them a good enough distance apart, but not too far, you should see a rock/pillar coming up, if you do everything right, you should run out of bombs right as you get to it. You should be able to land inside of it, and there you go. (Weavel only) be Weavel, and go to the crack and about 1/3 from the top, lay your turrent and while on it hold up and right while facing the crack, and if you do it right, you should go into the pillar, and from there you can go into the stairs also........ -------------------------------------------------------- Oubliette... (everyone but Spire) Go to the top, then run around on the platform that connects to the very top, and connected to that platform, you will see a smaller platform sticking out. You will see a small hole. As anybody, but spire, go into alt form and go into the hole. You should go into the platform/block. When in there, no one can hurt you. And the only way you can die is if another person goes in, or you kill yourself. -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------2 Player Glitches-------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- The 2 player glitches are glitches that require 2 players to do them. Data Shrine (Weavel required) Go to either the imperialist spawn, or the shock coil spawn. Then one person run against one of the 4 corners in that area. While they are running against the corner, have the Weavel jump onto the first person's head and run towards the corner also. Then have the Weavel go into alt form, and the first person should teleport through the wall unscratched and into part of the level's shadow world. (Found by Shrander and Dragonx24) -------------------------------------------------------- High Ground .:><Testing><:. -------------------------------------------------------- Sic Transit .:><Testing><:. -------------------------------------------------------- Transfer Lock .:><Testing><:. -------------------------------------------------------- Compression Chamber (Weavel required) Go to the side of the arena that has the double damage spawn. Then go onto the jump pad, and jump up to the ledge with the missiles. Then go to either corner have one person run against the corner. Have the Weavel jump on their head and run at the corner also. Then have the Weavel go into alt form, and the person at the bottom will teleport through the corner. For the person that shot through, immediately move towards the nearest corner of the arena and you should see a corner sticking out. Land on it, then slowly walk the ledge through the seen wall, all the wall to where the dividor part of the arena is. When you make it all the way around, you will be in half of the level as a shadow world. (Found by Shrander and Dragonx24) -------------------------------------------------------- Weapons Complex (2 Weavel's required) Go up to the top of the level there is the health and imperialist spawn points. Go onto the edge of the tunnel in the wall and jump out of it, then back towards it. If you did it right, you should land on a ledge farther up. Then have the first person, which is Weavel run against any corner. Have the second Weavel run antop of their head against the corner also. Then have the top Weavel go into alt form, and they should partially fall through the bottom one. Then the bottom one goes into alt, and may do the alt attack, and they will be moved forwards past the boundaries. Then from there they can explore things. (Found by Shrander and Dragonx24) -------------------------------------------------------- Elder Passage .:><Testing><:. -------------------------------------------------------- Fuel Stack ,:><Testing><:. -------------------------------------------------------- Stasis Bunker (Weavel required) Go to the upper level where there are two hallways and a door, and four indents in the ceiling, above a huge hole and jump pad. At one hall there is a health spawn. Have one person run against the corner that the health spawn is near. Then carefully have the Weavel jump onto their head and run against the corner also without starting to run ontop of the pipe. Then have the Weavel go into alt form, and the first person will teleport through the wall, and fall down into the room below. This is an alternative to the other glitch listed for this level in the multiplayer section. (Found by Shrander and Dragonx24) -------------------------------------------------------- Celestial Gateway .:><Testing><:. -------------------------------------------------------- Oubliette .:><Testing><:. -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- ----------------Single player Glitches------------------ -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- This area will have the glitches for single player mode. I am not going to talk about every alt form tunnel, and every elevator glitch. There are too many, and most are all the same. I will just do an explanation on how to do the elevator ones. Alt tunnel ones I thought were neat are ones I included. Stupid Spire + Purple Shield Skip When you are in the Spire fight, you shoot him to where he goes through the door(mainly to have this made simpler). Then go to where the series of floating platforms start (currently just the 2). At the ledge before them, there is a small skinny ledge sticking up out of it, go onto that skinny ledge, and go to the end nearest to the purple shield that is opened with the judicator and face the ledge at the top that is right by the shield. When at the end you can jump up and to the left, and fall back to the right to land on it for the trick. Go into scan mode and do the jump trick just stated, and when at the top of the jump your visor will pick up something, scan it some then continue to do the jump and scan until it is fully scanned. It will activate the moving platform. Then go to the floating platform chain. Go to the second one and go into alt form. Then with a well timed double bomb jump, you can get onto the moving platform. From it you can go to Combat Hall early, or you can go to the top room where Spire is after you destroy the enemies and spawn portals below. Then go down and activate them, then destroy them and have Spire come and do a double bomb jump up, or do the task of double bomb jumping back up to the top area, and destroy them from the top, and then Spire will come out of nowhere and start shooting at the lower area at random spots. Just shoot him and he will just continue to shoot at nothing. Then he will jump down and go into alt and attack going in a certain pattern, attacking nothing. Shoot him more and he will leave. The shields activated at the top will not deactivate until you beat Spire. This glitch was found by Dragonx24. An alternate path found by me is to go to the part in the main room of the Spire fight, that is directly below the ledge with the door to the top area of the next room for the fight. Go into alt, and when right past the ledge of the upper area, do a double bomb jump and you can be up there. -------------------------------------------------------- Key Skip 1 At Alinos Gateway, go to the start of the alt tunnel for the alt maze. Do the Alt Form Biped Trick explained in the general glitch area, and go into the tunnel, continue until you can see a clear orange ceiling above you. Look down and charge a missile, fire, and jump. You should go up through the ceiling, and up into the room. Being up in there, you have fully skipped the key below. And you can get the relic. This does not effect the your game percentage at all. -------------------------------------------------------- Golden Cannon At Arcterra, go to the alt maze, and go to the end that is opposite from where you first came in assuming you are on your first octolith run and leads to Sanctorus. From there do the Alt Form Biped Trick, and go into near the edge leading to the maze. Face at a certain angle, and your cannon will change to a yellowish gold. This is just a graphics glitch that only lasts while you are in the area. Going into the maze while in biped will immediately force you into alt form. -------------------------------------------------------- Gate Skip At Arcterra, and you are to the point where there is a big black gate at Ice Hive. Instead of activating everything, go to the left of the gate. There is a snow pile, and you will see an indent in it. Go to that indent and go into alt form. Do a double bomb jump and when the last bomb explodes, use it to go forward and immediately go into biped form and go forward. You will land on a slanted wall, and wall climb to your left towards where the missile expansion is. When there do a missile push at the wall under you, and be pushed up some, onto the ledge. From there you can get the expansion, and skip the purple shield, and the gate. But in the escape sequence you have to destroy the shield, or do the long process of activating the gate and everything. -------------------------------------------------------- Wall Passer At Echo Hall at Alinos, go to where the start of the Weavel fight begins. At one of the sides of the room there is a box against a wall. Go onto the wall, have your back against the wall and jump backwards. You will go through the wall, and begin to fall. Try to fall forward, and you will land inside of the alt maze. -------------------------------------------------------- Alinos Perch missing room. If you do the shadow world glitch here in single player mode, you will just fall to your death because the lower rooms never load, and thus, you never go to them. -------------------------------------------------------- Portal Invisibility At Vesper Defense Outpost, go to the room called Weapons Complex. Before you get to the room with the two portals stop. Have them activated, and with the imperialist, zoom in on one from another room and shoot it. Then run in and kill the enemies, and they will spawn out of the spot that the destroyed portal is at. -------------------------------------------------------- Unmatching Design At Cortex CPU where you get the battlehammer, do the alt form biped trick, and you can look around. The outer areas of the level don't match up. -------------------------------------------------------- Green Shield Skipper At Compression Chamber, you will be in the bottom area and there are shields that are activated, keeping you out of the opposite side. But I found that if you get to a certain position, you can jump up and scan a certain thing one bit at a time. Eventually the scan will complete, and the shields for the other side deactivate. Then from there, the rest is normal. -------------------------------------------------------- Outer Wall At Oubliette, do the AltForm Tunnel Biped Trick and go through the tunnel some and use a push to be forced out the side. Then jump towards the main area. At the edge you should be in the wall. Not very useful, but kind of fun none the less. -------------------------------------------------------- Death Skipper At Oubliette, at the room right before Gorea, do a wall hug up the tall pillar, and jump down and land on the metal part. You will take some damage. Do that and self inflicted damage until you have one health. go up to the top of the pillar again, and jump down, hit the edge of the metal floor, and go into the portal thing. You will begin to see the death message, and the sounds like you died, but hitting the portal thing, teleported you to the next area, and you have one health. This was found by Dragonx24. -------------------------------------------------------- Speedy Skipper To do this, on your first run through each level, DO NOT activate the portals that go to the ship. On your second run during the escape sequence, activate the portals from the first run, and they will actually work. Doing this, you can go back to the ship a lot faster. It can save you about 6 minutes during the second run at level 1. This glitch was found by me. -------------------------------------------------------- Elevator Glitch Where ever you find an elevator that has at least some kind of slant on the bottom, you can make it go to the side, and through a wall. When an elevator goes up, get underneath it. The slant will push you some, and push it a tiny bit. If it pushes you too far, move back under it. After a few minutes, you should see that it has moved a bunch. Doing this will also make them go through walls. The ones at Arcterra are the easy ones, that move fairly fast. -------------------------------------------------------- Hunter Door Glitch Something I just found was that you can get a hunter into one of the halls that are used for loading, and then run out, and the door will close them in. When I did this, I got frozen through the door. If this was already found, don't yell or anything. -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- ------------------Counters to Glitches------------------ -------------------------------------------------------- -------------------------------------------------------- Wall Counter If someone else did a glitch where they go to an area past a wall, there is always a good way to counter. Go against the wall that they are in, to a point where it looks like the cannon is partially through the wall. Then you can fire at the people and kill them, or get them out. Or if you are trace, you can use the imperialist, and shoot through the walls, and kill them. Another way found by Dragonx24 is to use the shock coil. Sometimes it will go through the wall, but not always, but it is great against people. -------------------------------------------------------- Combat Hall Well, most glitches here involve someone being in a wall, so the main counter is to be on the ledge on theopposite end from the glitcher. Or if they are under that in a 1 vs. 1 match, just go in after them. -------------------------------------------------------- Data Shrine For here, the only main glitch is them being under the floor in one area, the counter, stay away from the area. The walls help a lot. If it is a bounty match, flood them out with alt form. -------------------------------------------------------- Processor Core Well, the glitch here is being in the alt tunnel while in biped, which can be countered with the judicator or alt form, and the other is the shadow world which can be countered by going to the top area where it is harder for people to navigate when not being able to see a thing. -------------------------------------------------------- Ice Hive The main glitch here is a shadow world, which also can be countered by going to more complex areas such as the being at the imperialist spawn point. -------------------------------------------------------- Sic Transit And again its mainly Shadow Worlds. You can just be in a complex area, or try to kill them by using radar and looking for a shadow to find them. -------------------------------------------------------- Transfer Lock The glitch here is a shadow world and an aim is hard to get, so move a lot and try to stay on the opposite side from where the glitcher is. -------------------------------------------------------- Subterranean The glitch here is someone through a wall. you can counter by either being in the other main area of the level, or shooting through the small cracks if the glitcher is visible through the cracks. -------------------------------------------------------- Harvester The glitches here are shadow worlds, so stay in the upper areas. The glitchers cannot see you when you are in the main room, and you are hard to get when you are in the upper floor. And being outside on the upper floor lets them see you, but they cannot get you unless they go out of the shadow world, and by then you can see them before they attack. -------------------------------------------------------- Council Chamber The glitch here is a shadow world. So be in the complex areas or in the sandy area where you start. -------------------------------------------------------- Fuel Stack There are two main glitches here. One is where they are at the top not being killed by the thing that sucks people upwards, for this just be in the lower area or in the halls. The other is a Shadow World, just stay away from the lower area. -------------------------------------------------------- Stasis Bunker The glitch here is a shadow world. Just stay away from the main room. -------------------------------------------------------- Alinos Gateway The majority of the glitches here can be countered using the wall glitch. Also you can snipe them through the walls from a distance. -------------------------------------------------------- Arcterra Gateway The glitches here vary. The one where they are in the cutoff tunnel, just stay in the lower area. The ones where they are in the middle spire and stairway, just be in the higher areas. If they are in the side pillars, just be in the upper areas. -------------------------------------------------------- Oubliette The glitch here is where they are inside of a rock. To counter this, be in the lower areas. Being on top will not help because they can shoot one of the spires and the blast will kill you. And being in the upper areas below the very top area isn't good because they can shoot the ceiling part and the blast will kill you, so to counter just go to the lower areas, or go into the rock with the person. i have a copyright so nobody can steal this faq of glitches.
