Zephyr Town has an ample amount of wind, so the town has several windmills
around the area. The windmills are used for making various items but they are
not functioning correctly when you begin your game. Isaac and Wilbur will work
on repairing the windmills. When each one is fixed, Isaac will stop by your
house in the morning and let you know, along with a short demonstration. There
are a total of 3 windmills in the game.

All of the windmills in this game is made of several components. Isaac pretty
much explains it all to you, but incase you forgot or just wanted to make sure
here are the parts of a windmill:
1. At the top of the staircase is where you can put your ingredients to be
processed and to the left of that is a Wonderful stone holder.
2. At the bottom left of the staircase is the timer. To the right of that is a
light that flashes if you product is ready. Then to the far right is a red bin
where you can pick up finished products.
The windmills have specific recipes you can make with each one of them.
The ???? ones at the bottom requires a Purple Wonderful stone. To use a windmill
press B at the ingredient input area, select and confirm the recipe you want to
make (if you have the appropriate ingredients), and then merely wait for the
necessary time to pass for it to turn into a new product. When your product is
complete you will see a small pop-up box on the top screen.
The windmills do have limits. You can only have six types of items being
processed by a single windmill as well as a maximum stack of ten of a specific
item. For example, if you want to make 60 Mayonnaises (Egg + Oil) then you will
have to put in 10 eggs and oil six different times. Since the windmill only
processes 6 items, it doesn't matter if it is the same item.
You can modify the windmills by attaching Wonderful Stones.

The speed of which recipes are processed in the windmills is determined by 3
important factors:
1) The wind speed of the day
2) Whether you have blown into your DS microphone to speed up windmill blades
3) If you have a Blue Wonderful attached to the windmill.
The weaker the wind is, the longer it will take to make items. However, the
wind is not something you can really control. Every day, the weather icon in
the lower right corner of your bottom screen will tell you how strong the wind
is. One blue triangle is the weakest, and a thunderstorm or snowstorm is the
strongest. There will always be at least a weak wind, there will nott be a day
without wind.
If you want to decrease the processing time, you can blow on your DS microphone.
To do this stand infront or beside the windmill (in game) and then blow on your
DS microphone. When you hear a chime and you can stop blowing, and you will
notice that the windmill is turning slightly faster. You only need to do this
once a day for each windmill, so you just do it once a day and it will continue
to spin like that for the rest of the day.
The Wonderful stones will modify the windmills, and the Blue Wonderful will
decrease the time required for processing recipes. Each modifier you add
(1, 2, or 3) will positively decrease the time needed to finish the item. The
most you can decrease the processing time is by 84%.

Wonderful stones enhance your windmills. However You can't purchase these stones
until you have upgraded the bazaar to 75%. Then Diego will open up his shop and
randomly have a Wonderful Stone for sale for 10,000 G. You can only buy 1 stone
of each color. Just keep the unused ones in your storage box.
Each windmill can hold one Wonderful Stone at a time. Walk up to the stone
holder and then press B to select the Wonderful Stone from your bag. You can
only attach Wonderful stones when the windmill is not processing anything, since
the type of stone you attach will affect what happens to the product.
There are 6 Wonderful stones in this game, and here they are:
1. Blue Wonderful
For sale: 2nd year or later, Fall and Winter seasons only
What it does: Shortens the necessary processing time
2. Orange Wonderful
For sale: 2nd year Winter or later, Spring and Winter seasons only
What it does: Expand the stack from 10 to 30 for a single item
3. Red Wonderful
For sale: 3rd year or later, Fall and Winter seasons only
What it does: Increases the star-quality of the finished items by half a star
4. Yellow Wonderful
For sale: 3rd year or later, Summer and Fall seasons only
What it does: Every stack of 5 you put in, you get 1 extra back at no extra cost
5. Green Wonderful
For sale: 3rd year or later, Spring and Summer seasons only
What it does: Expands the number of process from 6 to 12
6. Purple Wonderful
For sale: 3rd year Winter or later, Spring and Winter seasons only
What it does: Allows you to make high level windmill recipes

After using for the windmills for a certain number of times Issac will show up
to tell you that since your using the windmill so much that he is thinking about
replacing some parts. Then Issac will check the windmill and tell you that he
thinks the windmill is in good shape. Afterwards Issac will point out that your
windmill ranking has increased.
From what I can tell it is based on the amount of items you processed. You can
also tell your number from the assests book in your house (far left tab).
Also the higher your rank/level the better quality items you can make.

2. Purple Ring
What it does: Earn more friendship points (10% bonus) when you give gifts
3. Yellow Ring
What it does: Ringing your bell during the bazaar will be heard from farther
away, bringing more customers to your booth
4. Green Ring
What it does: If you have this ring equipped and go to bed, the next day's wind
will be 1 blue-mark stronger. You still can't go past 3-marks of wind.
