INTRODUCTION: [IT!]
===================

AUTHOR:
.......
I had fun with my first FAQs for "Luminous Arc" as I'm itching to give
FAQs-writing another shot, I picked "Etrian Odyssey" for my second one. :)

WHY DO YOU CREATE THIS GUIDE?:
..............................
I've been using GameFAQs.com for a long time now, it's time to give back,
and also the many FAQs on that site are really inspiring for me to go and
start one of my own, this is my 2nd time in writing a FAQs, the first was
"Luminous Arc" for the DS. OH! I JUST REPEATED MYSELF I LOVE IT!

=======================
USING THIS GUIDE: [UG!]
=======================

SEARCHING FOR INFORMATION:
..........................
I've implemented a "Search System" for this FAQs for easier reference.

NOTEPAD:
........
- Ctrl + F
- Type in the search box, example: [CT!]
- Enter

THE STYLES USED IN THIS GUIDE:
..............................
This guide will now use only ONE style since the nephew deleted my FAQs off
the computer (all the way up to B5F) I'm very lazy to re-write everything
in "step-by-step" format.

   THE DENOTE STYLE:
  o-----------------------------------------------------------o
o - REQUIRED / + - Just a reminder / X - Congratulations!
  o-----------------------------------------------------------o

o This logo is used to denote a REQUIRED/MUST DO ACTION.
+ A friendly reminder about things that you should know.
X You've completed what is required of this floor. CONGRATS!

PURPOSE OF THIS GUIDE NOW & FOREVER:
....................................
This FAQs is not here to babysit you through everything, I will not tell
you "to go here, and then there, then back here blablablabla" unless
necessary the fun part of "Etrian Odyssey" is the "Mapping System," it's
very fulfilling, satisfactory and rewarding when you managed to map the
whole area all by yourself. You'd go "YES! I DID IT" cause that's my
reaction the instant I completed an area. :)

=================
GAME STORY: [ST!]
=================

- Taken from the official website:

In a vast and fertile land lies a small town known as Etria a peaceful
village that became famous for a startling discovery. A crack in the vast
forest opened at Etria's edge leading downward like a gaping maw. It all
began there...

Those who hear rumors of the labyrinth of Etria, whether young or old,
begin to harbor dreams of exploring it.

Riches... fame... prestige... all that and one more thing does the
labyrinth promise: the true spirit of adventure on the perilous edge of
death.

Today, like any other day in the new Etria, a youth walks through the town
gates...

================
CHARACTERS [CH!]
================

"EO" allows you to create up to 5 characters out of 7 classes, there are a
total of 9 but 2 must be unlocked before you can recruit/use them. I will
make this short and sweet. For more information visit the official website
or refer to the game's manual/instruction booklet.

MEDIC:
......
Primary healer of the game, Medic is IMPORTANT and essential to your party
it's hard to survive without one, so don't leave Etria without him or her.

DARK HUNTER:
............
Master of the whips they deliver reasonable damage and can inflict status
ailments such as Poison (skill: "Viper") but their defense is something
you will not be proud of.

ALCHEMIST:
..........
Black Mages/Magic Users of the game, they can conjure destructive magics
they may look fierce and cool, but their defense is nothing to write home
about so unless you want them to go to Hell A.S.A.P. put them in the back
row.

LANDSKNECHT:
............
The class name is a mouthful to pronounce and kind of awful to spell,
Landsknecths have multiple attacks and skills to choose from and they
generally dish out massive damage according to the site's description they
have low defense but I believe if you build them right, their defense is
not something to be ashamed about.

TROUBADOUR:
...........
Their songs will boost your party, skills such as "Shelter" will up your
defense while "Mercury" will increase your speed, they may not be effective
in battle but their songs are invaluable. If you bring them along please
put them in the back.

PROTECTOR:
..........
The opposite of Landsknecht according to the official site; Protectors
have excellent defense AND high attack power, they're also able to use
healing abilities which is a +.

HEXER:
......
???

RONIN:
......
???

=======================
CHARACTERS' STATS [CS!]
=======================

From the instruction booklet:

ATK: Sum of STR and the weapon's attack value.
DEF: Sum of VIT and the armor's defense value.
STR: Affects attack power.
VIT: Affects HP and defense.
AGI: Affects turn order and evade rate.
LUC: Affects chances of finding items and also affects Critical Hit Rate.
TEC: Affects TP and skill strength.

TIPS: [TI!]
===========

Some general tips to keep in mind, these are not "sure-win" tips or
anything but something to help you keep in check of stuff...

NOT IN ORDER:

GOLDEN: A MEDIC IS A MUST! DON'T LEAVE HOME WITHOUT HIM OR HER.

01. Level up as much as you can before you proceed to the next floor, this
game is not all that forgiving, more often than not you'll find
yourself dying many more times than your fingers could count.

02. Do not be ashamed to backtrack to town to rest, re-organized and
re-stock, the town exist to cater to you.

03. You can keep track of your Quests and Missions via the Main Menu
(Press Y) under "QUESTS," this is very handy.

04. Do not be afraid to run, if you can't win a fight then it's time to
make your escape back to town; rest up, re-organized and re-stock.

05. Make 2 teams of versatile and varying Classes/Characters. You're given
up to 16 creatable characters, so why not make full use of it?

06. In "EO" you'll need to distribute "Skill Points" for your character to
learn skills and abilities, how you decide to dish them out will make
or break your character, I WILL NOT TELL YOU HOW OR WHAT IS BEST,
cause this is "YOUR GAME," who am I to say "this and that is best?" BUT
some skills ARE VERY IMPORTANT, I will of course inform you of what's
vital. You can check what skills requires what skills before this skill
is learned by just going to the skill you want and press A, I know I
somewhat worded/phrased that poorly, but you get the idea, no? You
    WILL right? :P

07. Make your map as detail as you can, you may add notes/events to an
area to remind you of stuff that happened - "oh this is where I met
that bugger!" or "oh I'm such an idiot for adding this for fun without
any purpose." There are many ways to customize, make full use of every-
    thing.

08. Save, save, and save often you can end up losing many hours worth of
progress just like that if you didn't save enough, the only thing that
will be saved when you perish is your map progress only, now that isn't
worth a lot as compared to your 485451485 hours worth of experience,
items and money farming now does it?

09. The circular thing on the bottom right corner of the top screen, is the
enemy indicator, blue = no problem, red = fight! So it's good to watch
your health (Press Y) when the indicator goes red, just to be safe.

10. As you attack and receive damage; your Boost Meter will fill up, Boost
will enhance whatever attack you deliver, once activated you will not
lose a turn feel free to input any command, but it's best to save it
for the last or when you're desperate, Boost Meter's bar will drop to
0 when you leave the Labyrinth.

11. When selling off multiple item of the same type, press Y. it's so much
faster and easier than pressing A 10 times.

EXTRA REMINDER:
...............
Eventhough I mentioned earlier that I'm not here to guide you through
everything, but I figured if there are things that requires your attention
I WILL inform and tell you of those things. ;)

...........................................................................

THE BEGINNING: [TB#]
....................

One day in the small, isolated town of Etria, an underground forest was
discovered. The Radha, governors of Etria issued a proclamation throughout
the continent...

Any able-bodied adventurer was invited to investigate the forest and
explore its depth. But no matter how many came to investigate the dungeons
none gained the renown they sought. As more adventurers tried and failed to
conquer it, it came to be known by a new name...

The Yggdrasil Labyrinth.

You are the latest adventurer to journey to Etria in response to the
Radha's proclamation. You have but one goal: explore the forest to win fame
and fortune. Etria is at hand...

TOWN OF ETRIA: VERDA PLAZA
..........................

You'll be at "Verda Plaza" there are 7 places to go and they are:

01. The Rooster Inn
02. Ceft Apothecary
03. Shilleka's Goods
04. Golden Deer Pub
05. Explorers Guild
06. Radha Hall
07. Forest Entrance

But you're only able to access "Explorers Guild" so choose that for now.
You'll be greeted by a man with a patch over his left eye, he's in charge
of the place this is also where you will organize your party.

   AT THE EXPLORERS GUILD:
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
Haven't seen you before... I take it you come to check out the
Yggdrasil Labyrinth? Then welcome, friend. Not many guilds are
admitting new adventurers.

Those shortsighted losers care too much about trifles to do
any real investigation. If you've got the guts, you should
make a guild entirely for newcomers. There are loads of guys
just sitting on their thumbs, who'd join any guild that'd take
them.

How 'bout it? Gonna make a guild? YES / NO
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

Pick "YES"

  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
Great, then let's get started. Write what you want to call
your guild in this ledger. Someday the world will know this
name, so think carefully before choosing it.

(YOUR GUILD NAME HERE), huh?
Not a bad name.

Now that you've got a guild, you'll need adventurers to fill
it. Of course you can go into the Labyrinth yourself. If
you've got the stones, then register your own name as a
member. More adventurers means more options open to you, and
less of a chance of dying down there.

Think about it for a while, and make sure you register a
variety of classes into your guild.
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

I went with "Valhalla."

You'll get 5 options here:

01. REGISTER:
.............
Choose this option to start recruiting members into your guild, you can
have up to 16 members but you can bring only 5 with you into the Labyrinth.

02. ORGANIZE:
.............
Retire and Rest this option is only available when you're level 30 and
above, if I am not mistaken.

03. FORMATION:
..............
This is where you will organize your party, who will go with you or who
will stay behind, also decide who sits in the front and who shall take
cover in the back row. Weak members should stay in the back (Medics,
Troubadours, Alchemists etc).

04. TALK:
.........
Talk about things that will not benefit you at all. LOL.

05. LEAVE:
..........
Leave this place.

Go ahead and register up to 5 people (or more if you'd like) for your party
I chose: Protector, Alchemist, Medic, Dark Hunter and Landsknecht. You
don't have to follow me though whatever you choose is your call, as they
say whatever floats your boat. :-) once you're done leave the place.

OH! SNAP! CREATE A MEDIC IT'S A MUST!

You're now able to visit all the other places, I suggest stopping at
"Rooster Inn" first you may want to save your progress first?!

P/S: I named my characters like so:

Protector - Adolly (a stab at a friend's name)
Alchemist - Dil (ME! I LOVE MAGICS, ALL OF YOU WILL BURN!)
Medic - Britney GIMME MORE, GIMME MORE, GIMME MORE MEDICINES!!
Dark Hunter - Astartey (!!)
Landsknecht - Sebby (I wanted Sebastian)

   AT THE ROOSTER INN:
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
Welcome to the Rooster Inn! We cater to the adventurers who
explore the forest. Please, make yourself at home.
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

01. Sleep
02. Nap
03. Talk
04. Save
05. Leave

No point sleeping now you'll only waste your EN $ (the currency for EO), so
just save your game. Done? Leave. Next stop: "Ceft Apothecary."

   AT THE CEFT APOTHECARY:
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
Welcome to Etria. You stand in the town's apothecary, where we
heal the wounded and fallen. We also offer medicines to take
with you. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

If you're wounded in the forest, then come back here, and
we'll do everything we can for you.
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

01. Revive
02. Buy medicine
03. Talk
04. Leave

I bought three (3) "Medica" for 60 EN, you can do the same if you want, I
bought them cause I'm anxious like that :P it's time to take our leave and
head for "Shilleka's Goods"

   AT SHILLEKA'S GOODS:
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
Allo! Need items? Weapons? Equipment? I'm y'girl! Are you
t'guild I hear 'bout wit' only new folk? Explorers like you
are my best customers! I look forward t'doing business witcha!
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

"Shilleka's Goods" is basically the place to buy all your goods from,
weapons, items and whatnot for Shill to actually expand her shop you'll
need to sell off your spoils (enemy dropped items) once she has everything
in order she will inform you that she has new weapons/items/etc available.

There's nothing to buy over here so leave and head for the "Golden Deer-
Pub."

   AT THE GOLDEN DEER PUB:
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
Welcome. Don't think I've seen your face in here before. You
new in town? If you're going down in the Labyrinth, you should
visit the Radha first.

Every adventure's got to go through Radha Hall before they're
officially recognized. Sorry hon, but my hands are tied. I
can't give you any work until then. Once you're legit, come
and see me again, all right? I'll be looking forward to it.
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

01. Accept quests
02. Report results
03. Talk
04. Leave

Well, you'll be wasting your time here, but it's nice to just check the
place out? Once done, leave and head for "Radha Hall."

   AT RADHA HALL:
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
This is Radha Hall, home to Etria's governing body. I assume
newcomers, that you are en route to investigate the forest.

However, we don't recognize just anyone who manages to throw
together a guild, If you wish to become licensed adventurers,
first complete the mission we give you.
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

A new mission is available. Select "Accept missions" from the menu to see
the details.

01. Accept missions
02. Report results
03. Report discoveries
04. Talk
05. Leave

Choose "Accept missions" and accept the mission "Adventurer's initiation"

  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
Your mission is to create a map of the 1st floor of the
Labyrinth as an initiation. Those who cannot accomplish this
elementary task are better off staying out of the forest.

Explore the 1st floor and map everything you see there. This
method will be useful later. Here is a small town map to start
you off; fill in the rest of the details as best you can.
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

Obtained Map.

  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
Now go to the forest and get the details from the soldier on
the 1st floor.
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

Your "Touch Screen"/bottom screen will now display a map for you to use.
Rejoice! :)

Now head back to "Rooster Inn" to save your game.

ABOUT MAP-MAKING:
.................
The "Touch Screen" will now be utilized in such a way that whatever
progress you're making will be recorded, this only happened if you switch
on the "Auto Map" feature and of course the only thing that will be
"recorded" down is the floor tile, as you take a step forward the floor
will be colored for your convenience. The rest you will have to do it on
your own, the bordering of the walls and whatnot. It's fun, trust me :)

Try to make full use of the features provided in the "Map Making System"
you have the "Event" label, "Memo" label and etc advocate them.

Now it's time to venture into the forest, select "Forest Entrance."

01. Yggdrasil Labyrinth
02. Geomagnetic Field
03. Return to town

Ignore the second and last option, pick the first.

o B1F: THE FIRST HOPE-FILLED STEP [01#]:
........................................
First floor of the Labyrinth, very exciting...

LIST OF:
........

   ITEM LIST:
  o--------------------------------------------o
01. Whitestone (Enemy Ambush: 3 Moles) [ ]
02. Rucksack - 100 EN [ ]
  o--------------------------------------------o

   ENEMY LIST:
  o----------------------------o
01. Mole 04. Clawbug
02. Treerat 05. Venomfly
03. Woodfly
  o----------------------------o

OBJECTIVES & PURPOSES:
......................

o OBJECTIVE: Map out the first floor of the Labyrinth. You will need to
seek out the soldier that the guy at "Radha Hall" mentioned.
you'll actually need to only map a small amount of area. To
find the soldier take 12 steps forward (straight ahead) once
             you've entered the Labyrinth.

o NOTE: When you enter the Labyrinth the game will inform you that you are
now able to distribute points to your party members, each member is
given 3 POINTS at the beginning of the game, distribute them wisely
and by "points" I mean "SKILL POINTS." I recommend that you learn
"CURE" for your Medic. The rest is up to you.

Once you've found the soldier:

   THE SOLDIER:
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
As you walk the narrow path, greenery all around, you see a
soldier standing guard.

"You must be the new guys... The Radha told me you'd be along.
Welcome to the forest."

A few questions for the soldier spring to mind, but you wonder
if you shouldn't let him be.
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

Ask the soldier all the questions, it's actually some sort of tutorial for
you to get accustomed to the game. Very useful. When you're done asking
questions your map will have a red border highlighting a certain area, that
area will be the area you will need to map out. Leave the soldier alone and
map the whole highlighted area so you can proceed to the 2nd floor of the
Labyrinth.

o THINGS TO TAKE NOTE!:
.......................
Below are the things that you will need to "map out" and by "map out" I
mean bordering the walls correctly and within the highlighted area, IGNORE
ANYTHING OUTSIDE OF THE BORDER. It is not required to label your findings,
so whether or not you "stickied" this part with an "item point" or a memo
it will not take into account towards the completion goal set out by the
Soldier.

   THE DENOTE SYSTEM:
  o-----------------------------------------------------------o
o - REQUIRED / + - Just a reminder / X - Congratulations!
  o-----------------------------------------------------------o

o Made absolute sure that you mapped everything right, this means don't
mapped anything that do not exist, and get your walls right.

o There's a place for you to chop woods (resource), but you'll need the
ability to Chop which is available for "Survivalist," "Medic" and
"Alchemist." There may be other classes who could chop/resource? Please
label this spot for future reference.

o Resting at an area on the middle left part of the map will trigger an
inescapable battle with three (3) Venomflys. They're *dangerous.* This is
also where you can chop woods for resources. You ARE NOT REQUIRED TO FIGHT
the 3 Venomflys to complete your map. Don't forget to label.

o There's a "blocked path" with a crystal. You cannot proceed.

o There's a "trickle of water" on the lower-right most part of the map,
drinking the water during the day will not have any effect, drinking at
night though will replenishes your party's TP by 10, this is abusable, yes
perfect for leveling up and healing your HP with Brit--- I mean your
Medic's "Cure" skill.

+ Pay special attention to the enemy "Clawbug" they're best defeated with
Alchemist's "Flame." put everyone else on defend. Mole, Treerat and Woodfly
should not pose too much of a problem for you.

+ There's A SHORTCUT in this floor, 2 steps forward, turn right 1 step
forward. But needs to be "activated" from theo ther side.

+ Remember do not be afraid to run home to do the three Rs which is
"Rest, Re-Organized and Re-Stock."

X Once you've discovered and mapped out the area, find the Soldier and he
will approve and allow you to proceed, but don't proceed just yet, let's
go back to town to do a couple of things.
...........................................................................

TOWN OF ETRIA: VERDA PLAZA
..........................
Rest up and save at the "Rooster Inn" then head for "Radha Hall," in here
report all your discoveries by choosing "Report discoveries" then pick
"Report results"

   AT THE RADHA HALL:
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
We've received word from our soldier that you've completed
your map. Well done! We acknowledge and recognize your status
as true explorers from this point on.

You belong to the (XXX) Guild, correct? Let me give you the
standard reward. Take this to Shilleka's Goods. She'll sell
you items necessary for your adventures. Stock up there and
work hard to explore the labyrinth for us from here on out.
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

Obtained Radha's Note/500 EN

Now leave "Radha Hall" and head for "Shilleka's Goods" choose to talk to
her.

   AT SHILLEKA'S GOODS:
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
Oh yeah, t'at reminds me... Y'get permission from t'Radha?
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

Show her the letter!

   AT SHILLEKA'S GOODS:
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
Even wit'out it, I wanted t'sell you my goods, but I promised
Radha Hall, and I stick by t'at. Here, t'is is Warp Wire. If
y'lost, or about t'die, use it to warp outta t'Labyrint'. I
I tell everyone t'take some before t'ey leave for a trip down
to the Labyrint'.

But don't go t'hinking t'ey're free... How many do y'want?
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

Just buy one is more than enough, use it only when you're desperate, in
other word if you're 3 step away from exiting the Labyrinth, don't be super
smart and think it's cool to test out the "Warp Wire." It cost a 100 to
purchase and money in EO is not easy to earn. :) now leave the place and
head for "Golden Deer Pub!" :D

   AT THE GOLDEN DEER PUB:
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
Back safe from the mission, I see. Well done, XXX kiddos. I'm
to hear about you from the off-duty soldiers. Everyone's
pretty excited. So, am I right in thinking it's time to talk
business?

Here at the Golden Deer, I hear all sorts of problems that
only adventurers can solve. Gathering materials, wiping out
monsters... You name it, I hear someone sobbing about it. And
when I do, I pass the requests on to kids like you.

You're welcome to take them on.
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

Oh! God, this really reminds me of "Final Fantasy Tactics/Advance" where
you can accept quests and stuff, I love it! And hey! I know FFT/A isn't
the only game to implement the "get-quests-from-the-pub" deal, but oh well
:P

Choose to "Accept quests" I picked all of them:

01. The feathersmith's favor
02. To taste it once more...
03. A favor to Shilleka I

I took a nap so I can savour the power of the "Holy Water" that will
replenishes my party's TP to 10. Now go visit "Shilleka's Goods."

Choose to talk to her...

   AT SHILLEKA'S GOODS:
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
Say what? Request about t'Hand Axe? Ahh, now I see... You're
t'ones who accepted it. Lemme see... t'artisans made me a
list. Write t'is down somewhere, okay? What t'ey need is, five
pieces o'Hardwoods, and five Hard Shells.

As you get all t'junks, just sell t'em to me and I'll pass it
along. You don't have to do it all at once, hear? Bit by bit
is jus' fine wit' me.
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

You'll need 5 HARDWOODS and 5 HARD SHELLS. You DO NOT HAVE TO SELL HER THE
THINGS ALL AT ONCE, you can however sell her bit by bit, meaning if you've
2 HARDWOODS and 1 HARD SHELL, you can still sell to her first, you'd be
of course left with 3 MORE HARDWOODS and 4 MORE HARD SHELLS to go.

AND YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO SELL TO HER. Heh! Sorry for the CAPS :P just wanted
to emphasize.
...........................................................................

BACK INTO THE LABYRINTH: THE QUESTS; THE 1ST FLOOR:
...................................................
Head into the Labyrinth to complete your 3 quests as well to map out the
rest of the floor. I also level up a bit here and there.

01. THE FEATHERSMITH'S FAVOR [ ]
You will need 7 strips of "Soft Hide" which can be obtained from defeating
the enemy "Treerat."

02. TO TASTE IT ONCE MORE... [ ]
The very same place/water that replenishes your TP, just go there and
inspect and this quest will be completed.

03. A FAVOR TO SHILLEKA I [ ]
Hard Shells can be obtained by defeating the enemy "Clawbug" and Hardwoods
can be harvested from "Item Points," there are two "Item Points" on the 1st
floor of the Labyrinth one is in the western area with the Venomflys and
the other is on the right, did you remember to label them? You'll need a
character with the "Chop" skill to start harvesting. Your Medic can do
this.

   ITEM LIST:
  o--------------------------------------------o
01. 200 EN (Inside A Treasure Box) [ ]
02. Medica II (Inside A Treasure Box) [ ]
03. Scramasax (Inside A Treasure Box) [ ]
  o--------------------------------------------o

o THINGS TO TAKE NOTE!:
.......................
Time to map the rest of the 1st floor, as in whatever you can cover for
now.

   THE DENOTE SYSTEM:
  o-----------------------------------------------------------o
o - REQUIRED / + - Just a reminder / X - Congratulations!
  o-----------------------------------------------------------o

o Another crystal prevents you from advancing further ignore it for now,
label that with "blocked path" or "dead end" if you wish.

o There are three treasure boxes to be opened in the upper right hand most
corner of the map, they contained "200 EN," "Medica II" and "Sacramasax."
the enemy "Clawbug" seems to roam this area, so if you're looking for some
Hard Shells then perhaps this is the best place to look?

X Once you've everything in order: Holy Water, 7 Strips of Soft Hide and
5 Hard Shells and Hardwoods, head back to town to complete all these
quests.
...........................................................................

TOWN OF ETRIA: VERDA PLAZA
..........................
Back in town...

o Meet Shilleka and sell her the 5 Hard Shells and 5 Hardwoods, you're
supposed to sell to her. Do not sell the "Soft Hide."

o Now go over to "Golden Deer Pub" and "Report results" you'll complete
both the "The feathersmith's favor" and "To taste it once more..." quests.

There you go 3 quests completed.

SIDE NOTE:
..........
I created 3 "Survivalists" each one equipped with "Chop" I submitted all
the "Skill Points" given and received into that skill and I am able to
chop up to 18 times per day. This is a good way to make money in "EO" to
know go to this link (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sXGq8JaSixw) "Easy
Money Trick," I AM NOT THE CREATOR OF THE VIDEO! I've also thrown in a
"Medic" as well a "Troubadour" for good measure in this "money making team"

I also bought new equipments for my team. And also "Warp Wire" I bought
one, but you can buy as many as you want. I just love saving my money. :P

Feel free to level up, farm for money and items as much as you can on the
1st floor, before you proceed further into the Labyrinth. By the time I
enter the 2nd floor I am at level 7 to 8 for my main party, you know the
one with Britney... Once you've reached your desired level rest up and all
that jazz then proceed to the next floor.
...........................................................................

o B2F: THE VERDANT IN-BETWEEN [02#]:
....................................
God! I lied, I said before I won't tell you to go here and there, but let's
try this format which I had in mind when I first started out this FAQs.

Okay! B2F is confusing... It's like a maze there's also a Mini-Boss known
as F.O.E (Forest. Of. Etria?) ok no! It's an acronym in Latin which I've
no idea what it is?

LIST OF:

  o-----------------------------------o

HINT!:
......
o Fender is weak against "Volt." I think? Anyone wanna prove me wrong?
o Venomfly are dangerous especially their "Poison" skill.

BEGIN:
......
Place a "UP Stair" label behind you.

01. 3 steps forward a fork. Ignore.
02. Go straight ahead dead end, inspect it.

   INSPECT THE DEAD END:
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
As you continue into the brush, a noise ahead draws your
attention. An intermittent sound is coming from the brush.
Something seems to be inside the tall grass before you. You
peer futilely into it, wondering whether to chance it or leave
the sound alone.
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

Investigate? YES / NO

   IF YOU PICKED YES:
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
As a party leader, Sebby pushed back the tall grass with his
hands. Suddenly Sebby felt a sharp pain on his hand! The noise
seems to have come from a small snake. After biting Sebby's
outstretched hands, it slithered off into the forest. Sebby
lost 5 HP.
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

"You pull yourselves together and continue on the adventure." Did you see
that? It's traumatizing to be bitten by a small snake! I've to pull myself
together and MOVE ON! LOL. Anyway the top left-most person (first slot)
will suffer the 5 HP loss cause that person will be the leader. Label it if
you want. Though this snake drama only happen once.

03. Take 2 steps backward you're back at the fork, turn right.
04. 6 steps forward a fork. Turn right. 2 steps forward. Turn right again
05. 4 steps forward then turn left 2 steps forward then turn left.
06. 6 steps forward talk to the soldier.

   THE SOLDIER:
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
As you continue on the winding path, you see a soldier basking
in the warm sunlight. Noticing your presence, the soldier
calls to you. "Ho there. Explorers, I see... How goes your
adventure thus far?" After a brief chat, it comes out that he
is here to help those navigating the forest.

The soldier offers to sell you any of his tools you find
yourself in need of. Choose the item you believe you need most
from the following:

A weapon to battle monsters
Medicine to heal the wound
We're fine thank you
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

Your call! I picked the first though and I got "Shortsword" for 500 EN, umm
is it a good buy? I'm not sure maybe the stuff you get differs from game to
game? I don't know y'all. EDIT: OKAY SHILLEKA'S GOODS SELLING SHORTSWORD
FOR 350 EN a lot more cheaper than this bogus soldier offering you. :/

07. Turn left, depends where you're facing? 6 steps forward, turn left.
08. 3 steps forward...

   F.O.E.:
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
As you continue your adventure, a ferocious roar echoes
through the forest. Moments afterward you hear heavy footsteps
galloping through the forest. A dreaful enemy unlike any you
have yet seen is fast approaching!
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

"The dot on the map is a type of enemy known as an FOE: Formida Oppugnatura
Exsequens. For every movement you make, it makes one as well. Consider any
FOEs before taking action."

Ok... When an F.O.E. is nearby the "Enemy Indicator" on the bottom right
part of the screen will have a bar under it, the more the bar fill up the
nearer you are to an F.O.E.

09. From where you are standing, take 3 steps forward.
10. Turn right take 2 steps forward, turn right.

OH NOES! OH NOES! OH NOES! OH NOES!

+ There's a blocked door/path on this floor. Label it.
+ 3 treasures can be found in this floor (for now).

  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
As you continue down the path, you spot an orange fruit
growing on the walls of tree. The edible looking fruit makes
your mouth water. It would be no trouble to take the fruit and
eat it.

X Proceed to the 3rd floor.
...........................................................................

o B3F: MARBLE ORCHARD OF SOLDIERS [03#]:
........................................
The third floor have a lot of doors to open and a new menacing F.O.E.
called "Stalker," you're not supposed to fight it, well at least for now.

   ENEMY LIST: F.O.E. LIST:
  o--------------o o--------------o
  | 01. Mandrake | | 01. Stalker |
  | 02. Roller | | 02. Kuyutha |

   ITEM LIST:

01. 400 EN (In A Treasure Box)
02. Medica II (In A Treasure Box)
03. Hide Boot (In A Treasure Box)
04. Theriaca A (In A Treasure Box)
05. 500 EN (In A Treasure Box)
  o------------------------------------o

   THE DENOTE SYSTEM:
  o-----------------------------------------------------------o
o - REQUIRED / + - Just a reminder / X - Congratulations!
  o-----------------------------------------------------------o

Place a "DOWN stair" icon behind you.

o THINGS TO TAKE NOTE!:
.......................
o Head all the way down (south) 7 step. Turn to your left and take 9 steps.
+ There's a couple of shortcuts on this floor.
+ Opening the box with 500 EN will drag you into a battle with a Ragelope.
+ 2 "Item Point" here both are "Take."

   F.O.E.: STALKER:
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
As you descend into a new floor a premonition of bloodshed
sends a chill down your spine.

Even new adventurers such as yourself can already feel the
overwhelming sensation... It is the specter of death, looming
over you as you prepare to face unknown dangers.

Take head Beasts reek of tooth and claw run rampant here!
Feeling from these creatures is no shameful thing. In these
depths, survival is paramount.
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

So, if you happened to be unlucky and stumbled upon a "Stalker," just keep
on running (ESCAPE) you are powerless against it now. There will be an
F.O.E. blocking your only path to lure it away, get close to it until it
turns red, then walk back a few steps, it will stop in its track and turn
purple, just walk around it. Find a door that will be blocked by two female
adventurers.

   THE TWO FEMALE ADVENTURERS:
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
As you walk through the forest you come across two female
adventurers. One has black robes and flame hair, while the
other bears a fierce look and a katana.

"Who's there!?" demands the hard-bitten woman, one hand ready
to draw her katana. The adventurers appear to be veterans and
have made no move to lower their defenses. Perhaps they will
relent if you tell them that you're also adventurers from
Etria.
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

Tell them you are adventurers

YES / NO

   IF YOU PICKED 'YES':
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o
Once you inform them you are adventurers, they not and lower
their guard ever so slightly.

"Ah, Etria explorers. Didn't the Radha notify you?" The Katana
-wielding woman realizing your ignorance shakes her head in
dismay "We have orders from the Radha to guard this place,"
says the severe woman with the sword.

"I am Ren, a ronin and she is Tlatchga, a hexer. "Return to
town at once and get the details from Radha Hall."

Ren barks these cold, sharp words, then lapses into a silent
state. It seems you should ask the Radha official for details
regarding the situation.
  o----------------------------------------------------------------o

There's nothing much you can do here, maybe you'd like to level up a little
bit more? Your call! Once you're ready, use the "Warp Wire" in your Item
Inventory or walk back and gain even more experience, I bet $1 that you'll
opt for the "Warp Wire." :P

Most of the section after this, are "under construction" I'm still working
on them, if you have anything to contribute, go to the "Contact"
section for more information. CREDITS WILL BE FULLY GIVEN!

While I don't really planned on doing a crazy full "in-depth" section, all
I was trying to say is this section more or less will cover all the in-game
mechanics and battle options etc.

Obviously I can't do this alone so if you readers out there have anything
to contribute at all, then please feel free to e-mail me. Thank you!

Frequently Asked Questions: [FQ+]
=================================

Before you submit anything please refer to the FAQs below, chances are your
questions may have already been answered. If you have any questions, then
head on over the Contact Section, while I don't claim to be an expert in
this game, I try my best to give a relevant and accurate answer, oh, and
of course if you submit anything erm... Stupid, I will still put that up
here.

Q: I've already submitted a point into my whip skill and I've acquired
"Viper" but I can't use it? What gives?

A: You will need to have your "Dark Hunter" equipped with the Whip weapon
for him or her to use the "Viper" skill.

Q: Ew! Your guide sucks, why the hell you called it a "WALKTHROUGH" if the
guide didn't even TELL US WHERE TO GO?

A: You're supposed to uncover the labyrinth yourself, what fun is there if
   I tell you everything step-by-step? I don't wanna kill the fun you'll
have playing this game. Need something absolutely, fabulously detailed?
I recommend Zaraf perfect "Map Guide" and OatmealBob's FAQ which is just
   as awesome.

Q: What are the [ ] in your item list for?

A: Why?! It's for you to put an 'X' or 'O' it's like an Item Checklist.

Q: You missed an items/place/stuff/etc can I submit an e-mail to inform you
   of it?

A: Absolutely please refer to the Contact Information section on how to
contact me, full credits will be given to you, so please leave behind
your name/nickname or online alias. Thank you.

Q: I thought you're not gonna guide us through? What's up with the new
   format? Man, you're confusing!

A: >.< lol! I really can't make up my mind can't I? Anyway I try to stick
with one format throughout the guide unless I need to go into details
then I will go INTO DETAILS. Ha! Ha.
