Introduction =============== Elite Beat Agents is a spiritual follow-up to Nintendo and iNis's runaway import hit, Osu! Tatake! Ouendan. The game has gone through major changes in terms of character designs and music, but it still retains the Ouendan gameplay. The game will be released in the United States on November 6, 2006, but the demo is currently out on the DS Download Station Vol. 3. Download the demo, (it should take about a minute or two), and enjoy the demo. The demo will disappear as soon as you turn off the Nintendo DS, so if you want to keep playing, use the Sleep Mode by closing the DS. From the demo's start-up screen: This game is a rhythm-action game! Please listen to the music to play successfully. For maximum enjoyment, please use headphones or turn the volume up to a suitable level. This download is for demonstration purposes only and does not represent the final quality of the product. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ================ 2. Demo Controls ================ Touch Screen: Menu selections Tap markers/phrases Start Button: Pause the game You only use the touch screen for this game. You must tap and slide the stylus to the beat in order to play the game. As the song opens, you'll see numbered circles on the screen. These are called Hit Markers, when the outer circle that appears overlap with the inner circle, tap the marker. Depending on how well you timed the tap, you can earn: 50 points 100 points 300 points A red X (miss the beat) Some Hit Markers appear as a long line, these are Phrase Markers. When you tap this, a ball will appear and automatically drop down to the end of the marker. You have to slide the stylus with it to earn points. There is also a red and yellow meter on top of the touch screen. This is your life meter, and also a meter on how well the story's going. If the sign on the meter says "Yes", the scene is going good. If the sign says "No", the scene is going to end badly. If the meter is completely empty, the demo ends. Remember to listen to the music to play successfully! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ============== 3. Walkthrough ============== The walkthrough will be detailed like this: - x number of Hit Markers in sequence, its locations. - Phrase Markers in location. ================================================ Episode 1: Trio of Mayhem! She wants to go steady. But Martha spoils Jane's plans by leaving her kids today with Jane! The kids are all over Don and he's going to leave if Jane doesn't do something fast! HEEEAAALP! You can skip this scene by pressing "Skip" on the bottom-right corner of the touch screen. ------- Scene 1 ------- Don and Jane are playing with the kids. Make them take control and enjoy the kids. Otherwise, the kids will be unruly, yell, and scream through the house! ARE YOU READY? 3..2..1..GO!
