HP- The Hp is your Dinosaur health. Technique- It determines the speed of Mp regenaration. Mp- When a move is used,It will take up some Mp,If you use the same move continuosly,You might run out of Mp and you will not be able to use that move.Some Mp is recoved in a turn. Speed of Mp is recoved in a turn depends on your dinosaur's technique. Critical Move- They are the moves with a jagged shape like thing around them,usally bigger than the other two moves.Critical moves has a higher attack power than the other two moves. Move Cards- They are moves that you can equip on to your dinosaur ,If your dinosaur has a 500 attack power for scissors example,and you equip Heavy Kamikaze Tackle(1.5dmg). The damage (Hp)that you will inflict on your oppoment is 750.A dinosaur with a scissors critical move will learn mostly scissors move,same goes for paper and stone. Super Move- They are move cards that has a certain attribute but at the cost of higher Mp.These super moves can only be used by a dinosaur of the same attribute as the move. The player cannot use an element card if the element of the dinosaur does not match card the element of the Super Move. Example,Tyrannosaurus,a fire attribute dinosaur can only use the move red swing.It cannot use any other moves except normal or fire attribute moves.However,All dinosaurs regardless of the type could use Alpha moves.Alpha moves is only learnt by Alpha dinosaurs or super Alpha dinosaurs.While Super move cards can only be learn by dinosaurs with that attribute.Example.Megaraptor can learn Mayfly,as both of them are wind attribute.Unlike move cards,Scissors Super move cards can be learnt by both dinosaurs with either stone or scissors as their critical moves.Paper can be learnt by scissor and paper critical move dinosaurs,While stone can be learnt by both paper and stone critical move dinosaurs. Attributes- There are a total of 7 different attributes.Fire,water, Lightning,Earth,Grass,Wind and Mystery. Fire is weak to water but strong to Wind,Water is weak to lightning but strong to fire.This is how it goes. Wind>Grass>Earth>Lightning>Water>Fire>Wind Mystery types(Rainbow types) have no strong or weak attribute. Types- There are 6 different battle types: Attack Type -Deals more damage in battle. Defense Type -Have higher HP. Tie Type -Do more damage in a tie and recieve less damage in a tie. Blitz Type -Atack power increase when the move is press immedaitely after the battle started. CounterStrike -Raises attack power every time this dinosaur gets damaged. Type Crisis Type -Raises attack power when Hp is low. There are also super battle types such as super attack type.In this case,the damage given to the opponent is much more,Or the effect is increased. Battle Field- When a super move is used,If the move is to make a [type] battle field.It will make a[type]Battle field.If there is another type battle field on and the dinosaur uses a super move that will make a wind battle field.The Whole battle field will be changed to wind battle field.All attribute has their type of battle field,Only Mystery moves(Not known). Items- These are useable items.Mostly needed when you are on the adventure.Some of these items restore your Hp,radar battery, make more Alpha droids appear or stop them from appearing, boost the amount of exp you get after a battle and shares the exp gain for other dinosaurs.The others are mostly for sale. Treasure-These are golden colour box found in the game,Inside them Chest either has an item,map or a fossil. Quests- Most Quests are optional,Doing them might reward you with items or even fossils.Some dinosaurs can only be obtain by doing the quest.Some quests can only be done once while some others can be done mutiple times. Rartiy- (Aka star count).This is a very important part to determin how strong your dinosaur is.A dinosaur with a high star count will have higher Hp and attack power but a low technique.And a dinosaur with a lower star count will have lower Hp and attack power but higher technique.Technique affects how fast Mp is restored in a turn.The lowest star count is 1,Highest is 6. However,Eoraptor has 6 ?(Question mark) instead of six stars. Maps-These are usally located near the entrance of the place.When obtain a new map,the map is shown on the top of the DS screen. ================================================================ | The Digging System(5) | ================================================================ You will first get to use your drill and radar after you talk to the guy close to the bridge in North Euro Plains.As you get further into the game, You can upgade your drill and radar at Europe and Asia Respectively. Here is an example: White, the color of the dot that the fossil will appear on when you use a radar,Different dot colour requires different Drill to dig up. White : Need the basic radar and drill. Yellow : Need the advanced radar and drill. Orange : Need the super deluxe radar and drill. Red : Need the Ultimate radar and Master's drill. You will be able to upgrade your radar and drill as you proceed in the game. Excavation Radar :Starting point of the game. Deluxe Radar :Go to East Gobi Plains. Super Deluxe Radar :Trade for a Gemstone Ultimate Radar :Complete the game(credits)and go to East Gobi Plains Mass Production Drill :Starting point of the game. Custom Drill :Arrived at Asia. Special Order Drill :Trade for the Superalloy. Master Drill :Complete the game and go to The drill man in Europe Europe :Need Basic Drill and Radar for European Fossil. Urgh,A Condrum:When this happens,use the countering move.eg.Scissors or stone,stone.Paper or scissors,paper.Stone or paper,paper.The opponent will also use the same move,and both will recieve damage from the draw. Before We begin.[bwb] ------------------------ Hi,Welcome to the Walkthrough part of the game. Resse had just completed inventing the Dinoshot,A device that can transform Dinosaurs to life.And the Alpha Gang is out terrorizing the world,And it is up to you and Max/Rex to save the world.The Alpha Gang also took away your 7 stone fragements. The First Battle[gc0] ------------------------- Before the first battle.You will have to choose between Max and Rex. Max has a Triceratops,A Lightning Dinosaur.Rex has a Carnotaurus,A Wind Dinosaur.For me,I choosed Rex,Mainly because he looks cooler and he has a Carnotaurus,A wind Dinosaur.Helpful for the scissors wind move of my Megaraptor.Whoever you choose will only use a different dinosaur and get another different Dinosaur after a certain battle.It does not affect most of the gameplay. Chapter 1:Europe:Euro Town[gc1] -------------------------------- After choosing who you want to play with.You will learn how to battle,the first battle is so easy that you are prevented from losing as you cannot choose any other move other than the one which will win.Learn the basics of battling and win.Simple.The first Dinosaur you will ever battle with is Tyrannosaurus.After the win,Dr Z will ask you for your name,Don't be shy and type your name. Note:You can change your name at any D Lab. Europe Side Quests: (See Quest Guide) [q1][q2][q3][q4][q5][q6][q7][q8] Save The Girl[c101] ------------------------- After completing the first battle,you will be in the D lab.Resse will ask you to talk to everyone in the D Lab,do so and she will assign you a misson. You will be teleported to Europe in a while. Immediately after you reach Euro Town,Go into the buliding infront of where you are standing(D site Branch)and select connection room,click connect to Nintendo Wifi Connection and wait.After successfully connecting,wait for the topic to load and exit by pressing the 'b' button.Repeat this steps 50 times.And you will get a free Megaraptor.Megaraptor will be very useful at the begining of the game considering it is a 6 star power dinosaur.If you do not have Wifi,then unfortunately,You will not be able to obtain Megaraptor. At Euro Town,Talk to the mayor there(the man next to the building)and he will tell you about the area.After that,go to the north of Euro Town,Talk to the guy blocking your way and head on.There,You will Encounter Ed and 2 Alpha Gang Droids.They seems to be picking on that girl and you will need to battle the droids in order to rescue that girl.The Droids uses an Irritator,Follow Resse instruction and you will win this battle. After winning the battle,Ed escaped and the Droids exploded,The girl thanked you and gives you a Mystery Fossil.Clean the fossil and get the Irritator. To clean fossils,go to the D -site branch and select restoration room and select the Mystery Fossil.Use your stylers and tap on the parts only where the fossil is,If you see any golden like thing/dust(and you will probably see some),Blow into the screen and the dust will go away.And you just finished cleaning your fossil. Once you enter the cave,Go East,Then North then East again and you will find a North Mine Map,Navigate your way with the North Mine Map.You might want to battle an Alpha Gang Droid for both Exp and a free Medium Dino Drink. Just head West after battling the Alpha Gang and into the Darkness and once You reached the other room,You will find a treasure Chest,Open it and recieve A Medium Dino Drink,Also,Once you get yor Radar,Use it at that spot and get some rare items! Once you are ready,Go to the Very top part of North Mine and battle that Alpha Gang Droid. Minor Battle[c103] -------------------------------- Dinosaur : Iguanadon Attribute : Grass Level : 3 Once you Defeated Iguanadon,You will recieve an item,Go back To Euro Town and trade that item for the Mass Production Drill and Excavation Radar. Learn How to Use the Drill and Radar[c104] ------------------------------------------- Once you got the Drill and Radar,Head North and you will meet a man standing infront of a bridge.Talk to him and he will teach you how to use the Drill and Radar.Press R then A to use the radar and L to dig,Digging is very important as you will need to dig up some items and use them to advance further into the game.Also,Digging is the best way to find a Dinosaur Fossil.
