It took me a few tries to finally beat this boss, but once you learn the strategy to dodge his attacks, it's pretty easy to bring him down. The strategy here is to run and shoot. There's this row of lockers in the middle of the room. Run around the corners of this obstacle, and wait for the Cleaver to appear. When he does pump him once with the shotgun, then run to another corner. Be sure to run fast, otherwise he'll squirt you with some green stuff from his right hand. Wait for the cleaver to appear before shooting again. The trick here is to keep your distance, then shoot whenever the cleaver turns a corner. If he gets too close, he'll attack you with his left hand(meat cleaver). You can win this fight without getting hit once. ============================================================================= B2 Boss 2: Wheelchair Guy ============================================================================= Recommended weapon(s): Sniper Rifle, Shotgun This boss is a pain, especially if you're facing him for the first time. Use the sniper rifle from afar. If you run out of ammo(you prolly won't have enough sniper ammo at this point), you'll have to nail him up close. First, stand at a corner and turn on the flashlight. Be sure not to expose yourself. If the sniper guy is round the corner, he'll start shooting but he won't hit you since you're standing beside the wall. Once he stops to reload his gatling gun, run towards him and shoot him in the head. Then run away in the opposite direction. Repeat this strategy until he's dead. Almost forgot to mention, he will start lobbing some green smoke bombs at you once his health is down by 3/4 or so. Just avoid the green smoke and shoot him in the head. ============================================================================= B3 Boss 3: Green Room ============================================================================= Recommended weapon(s): Buzz-saw, Shotgun Well, I don't really consider this a boss fight, but whatever. First, shoot the mouth on the ceiling closest to you. Then use the buzz-saw on the mouth to your right. Afterwards, use your shotgun on the 3 mouths closest to your current position. I beat this room by shooting one mouth, then running away once the worms start appearing. Kill all the worms that appear, then kill another mouth with the buzz saw/shotgun(for mouths on the ceiling). It's better to exhaust all your shotgun ammo before resorting to the buzz-saw. This way, you can keep your distance from the mouths and watch out for incoming worms at the same time. It's a good idea to have full health before entering this room, as it could be hard to dodge the worms at times. ============================================================================= B4 Boss 4: The Cleaver Returns ============================================================================= Recommended weapon(s): Shotgun Wow it's the cleaver guy again! Haha fear not! This time it's easy to kill this bastard. Just stay where you are and he will come towards you. IMPORTANT NOTE: Don't leave the elevator no matter what!!! You're safe inside the elevator, and he can't even scratch you. He won't use the syringe on you while you're inside the elevator. The cleaver won't be able to get inside so you're completely safe. Just be sure to stay out of his reach, or he'll hit you with his left hand(the meat cleaver). Shoot him from inside the lift using whatever weapon you have. You can kill him faster if you shoot his head. It takes 7 to 8 hits to bring him down using the shotgun. Use of the machinegun is not recommended, as it takes a lot of machinegun ammo to kill him. Be sure to wait for him to stop flashing red before shooting him again, since you can't hurt him when he's flashing red. Clear! ============================================================================= B5 Boss 5: The wheelchair guy.. er.. returns.. ============================================================================= Recommended weapon(s): Sniper Rifle, Shotgun Hehe i wish they had more bosses in this game! Same guy, but this time you should be packing enough sniper ammo to finish him off without getting hurt. Shoot him from afar using the sniper rifle, be sure to check which direction he's headed towards after shooting him in the head. IF for some reason you don't have enough sniper rifle ammo, just repeat the same strategy from part C. You should have the revolver by now, so it shouldn't take more than a few shots to finish him off. ============================================================================= B6 Final Boss! Surgeon wearing a gas mask.. ============================================================================= Recommended weapon(s): Revolver Ok, for a final boss this guy's quite easy to off.. here's the strategy. Before you enter the room for the final battle, equip the revolver. You have have enough ammo to kill him using only one weapon(be sure to pick up the revolver ammo before you enter the door). When you enter the room, shoot him once. Then run away from him. Shoot him again. Don't let him get close, or he'll hit you with a karate chop/punch, whatever hehe. He will use some sort of telekinesis to lift you off the ground and throw you away from him. This will take a lot out of your health bar so be careful! Not to worry, it's easy to avoid this. When he's about to use his power, his hands will start glowing white. Simply use your revolver to shoot both hands. Both! If you successfully shoot bot of his hands, he will let go and you will fall back to the ground unharmed. Repeat the same strategy and you should be able to finish him off under 2 mins flat. And there you have it! Congrats, you just beat the final boss of the game! The ending's kinda sad though... but I wont' spoil it for you! ============================================================================= C Minor Monster Facts ============================================================================= Here's a general guide on how to defeat the minor monsters you face in the game. C1 Zombies This is the first enemy you encounter in the game. Zombies have a weak point, which is their exposed hearts. You can kill them with one shot if you target their exposed organ. Even if you blow their heads off, they will still come right at you. Recommended weapons & number of hits required: Nightstick - 5 to 6 hits depending on which part of the body you attack, use of this weapon is only recommended if you're running low on ammo Handgun - 3 to 4 hits, 1 to 2 hits if shot in the heart Shotgun - 3 hits, 1 hit if shot in the heart Buzz saw - 2 hits max, 1 hit if you target the heart, this is the best weapon to use on zombies C2 Worms Worms could become annoying if you're not careful. You could lose a lot of health if you let the whole bunch of them come at you simultaneously. You can usually outrun them, unless there's little room to maneuver. In most rooms, it's better to outrun them to preserve ammo than to face them head on. Recommended weapons & number of hits required: Handgun - 1 hit Buzz saw - 1 hit, only use this alternative if you're low on ammo C3 Crawlers You first encounter crawlers in the buzz-saw stage. They're easy to dodge. It's much better to just outrun them than trying to shoot them down. Even the ones on the ceiling are easy to dodge. Just pay attention to their location. Recommended weapons & number of hits required: Shotgun - If you think running away isn't your style, then use the shotgun to dispatch these yucky baddies. The handgun is weak against them, and use of stronger weapons like the revolver would be too much of a waste. C4 Flying "clown" Heads When you first face these abominations, you won't have a suitable weapon to eliminate them with. But once you get the buzz saw and the machine gun, they become easy prey. I use the term "clown" since these guys have blue green hair, and white painted faces, giving off the appearance of an evil clown. Recommended weapons & number of hits required: Shotgun - 3 to 4 hits, only use this weapon if you don't have either the buzz saw or the machine gun Buzz saw - 2 hits, the weapon of choice C5 Roaches Roaches are minor enemies that can be easily avoided. You don't wana waste ammo trying to hit these little critters. Just use your flashlight on them, as they're afraid of light. Recommended weapons & number of hits required: None - just use the flashlight on them C6 Beetles Beetles are more annoying than roaches. One hit point will be deducted from your health bar every time you get hit. One thing to take note of, you are recommended to switch off your flashlight when you encounter these bugs. They are attracted to light, and will pounce on you if you shine the flashlight on them. If dodging is not an option, use the machine gun to thin their ranks. Recommended weapons & number of hits required: Machine gun - variable, just spray them with machine gun bullets and they should dissipate like fog. Use of any other weapon is not recommended. Either dodge them by turning off your flashlight, or hit them hard with machine gun fire. C7 Green Worms These are stronger versions of the typical worm. Use same strategy as above. Note that they take an extra hit to kill. Recommended weapons & number of hits required: Handgun - 2 hits Shotgun - 1 hit, this is the weapon of choice against green worms Buzz saw - 1 hit, again only use this alternative if you're low on ammo C8 Flying heads version 2 Stronger version of the flying clown heads. Recommended weapons & number of hits required: Buzz saw - 4 hits, the weapon of choice. Although it takes more hits to kill these bastards, the buzz saw is still the best weapon against them Machine Gun - 5 to 6 hits, I only used the machine gun to fight the flying heads on the final level of this game. You will have to fight off 4 heads simultaneously, so you likely won't survive if you use the buzz saw. With the machine gun, you can easily keep them at bay. ============================================================================= D Version Update History ============================================================================= Ver. 1.0 09/11/2007 Ver. 1.1 10/11/2007 Added a copyright section and fixed some typos.
