The following are all the weapons in the game Contact, their descriptions,
statistics, and locations.

i.   How to Use This Guide and Other Important Information
The guide breaks all the weapons down into categories based on what statistics
determine their damage. If you are missing a particular weapon, and would like
to know what that weapon is, try searching for its row and column. For
example, if you were missing a weapon in the third row and fourth column,
you would search for "Row 3 Column 4".

There are two weapons in the game that require that you connect via WiFi or
DS Connect. They are the Battle Rod and the Boxing Gloves.

There is one weapon that you CANNOT GET if you are past a certain point in the
game. That weapon is Ja Danga, be on the lookout for it before you beat Ft.
Eagle.

I. Slashing Weapons
Slashing weapons include knives, daggers, and swords. When you wield a
slashing weapon you gain a 10% (rounded down) boost to your dexterity, making
your attacks more accurate. You gain Slashing experience when attacking with
one of these weapons. 

Army Knife
Row 1 Column 9

Agility +8
"A standard-issue self-defense knife."
Army Knives can be obtained by getting a rusty knife repaired at Caldoaxa. If
you go in the store outside, there is a man behind some crates. He will
sharpen your rusty knives for 100 coins. One of the weapons you may acquire
is the Army Knife. There is also an Army Knife in a chest at Ft. Eagle.

Badelaire

"A short, heavy sword for quick chopping."
At Akumojo Castle there are mimics that look like treasure chests. If you
weaken one of them sufficiently, they will retreat and become regular chests.
Lockpick this chest and you may acquire the Badelaire.

Bowie Knife

+25% Damage to Animals
"A hunting knfie that works well in combat."
Bowie Knives can be obtained by getting a rusty knife repaired at Caldoaxa. If
you go in the store outside, there is a man behind some crates. He will
sharpen your rusty knives for 100 coins. One of the weapons you may acquire
is the Bowie Knife.

Butterfly Knife

"It folds in half for easy storage."
Butterfly Knives are dropped by Army Men at Ft. Eagle. If you have already
beaten Ft. Eagle, you may need to do a sidequest to have the Army reappear.

Cherry Sword

"This fine fairy blade is too fine to use."
After you beat the game and the game automatically saves, this item should
appear in your inventory.

Cleaver

"Useful for chopping up meat and fish."
Cleavers can be bought at Aegis. The man who sells the car parts also sells
cleavers.

Cloud Sword

"The one and only! It's Lester Sprawl's."
After you defeat Lester Sprawl at the Caldoaxa Ruins, he will drop this sword.

Cutlass

You can buy a Cutlass at the weapon store at Aegis.

Element Sword

The knights at Akumojo castle occasionally drop Element Swords.

Falchion

At Akumojo Castle there are many locked chests. If your thievery is at least
naturally 70, you can pick one of the chests which contains Falchion.

Flamberge

"Carved with a lovely but deadly flame design."
After you beat the game, there will be a man at Aegis in front of the Pyramid
that you can purchase. If you give him a Topaz, Sapphire, Emerald, Ruby,
and Diamond, he will give you the Flamberge in exchange.

Fruit Knife

You can purchase a Fruit Knife at the store at Caldoaxa. You may also acquire
a Fruit Knife by getting a Rusty Knife sharpened.

Ginsu

You can find a Ginsu in a chest at Habara.

Guard Dagger

In the very first room of the Aegis Pyramid, there is a black rectangle.
Fish in it and you can obtain a Guard Dagger

Hunting Knife

"Utilitarian, and good at close range."
After you beat the game, the Pyramid that you can buy a deed for will
contain a Wind Demon. The Wind Demon occasionally drops a Hunting knife.

Ice Sword

At Akumojo Castle, there are sword-weilding skeletons. They will occasionally
drop Ice Swords. Also, after you beat the game, Ice Swords can be acquired
from killing Super Worms at Ft. Eagle.

Knife

You can purchase this weapon at the store at Caldoaxa.

Long Sword

"A thrusting weapon for knights to use."
Mimics at Akumojo Castle will occasionally drop Long Swords. The Ghoul Knight
in Dragon and Dragon can also drop a Long Sword.

Machete

You can buy a Machete at the weapon store at Aegis.

Masamune

On the top floor of Habara there is a hidden passage by the escalator. Follow
this path to find a chest containing Masamune.

Muramasa

At the Caldoaxa Ruins there are many hidden locked chests. If your thievery
is at least naturally 70, you can pick one of the chests which contains
Muramasa.

Paper Knife

Plague Dagger

Throughout the game you will run into many different snakes. All snakes can
drop Plague Daggers.

Plasma Blade

You can buy Plasma Blades at the ground floor of Habara.

Royal Dagger

After helping the Archaeologist at Aegis, he will give you the Royal Dagger.

Royal Sword

After collecting all the stone body parts, go to the Archaeologist at Aegis.
He will give you the Royal Sword.

Rusty Knife

Saber

Shiv

Towards the end of the Caldoaxa Ruins there are red demon creatures. These
creatures occasionally drop Shivs.

Short Sword

The Knights in the Dragon and Dragon video game occasionally drop Short
Swords.

Steak Knife

Skeletons at Caldoaxa Ruins occasionally drop Steak Knives.

Thief Dagger

"This handy dagger kills foes at a touch."
Thief Daggers are dropped by sarcophagi in the Aegis Pyramid occasionally.

Valor Sword

After you beat the game, in the racing video game at Habara there will be a
Super Ogre. Defeat it and it may drop a Valor Sword.

Viking Sword

If you go fishing in the Dragon and Dragon video game, you may catch a Viking
Sword. Also, at Akumojo Castle there are mimics that look like treasure
chests. If you weaken one of them sufficiently, they will retreat and
become regular chests. Lockpick this chest and you may acquire a Viking Sword.

Wakizashi

I. Punching Weapons
Punching weapons include gloves, knuckles, and claws. When you wield a
punching weapon you gain a 10% (rounded down) boost to your agility, making
your attacks quicker. You gain Punching experience when attacking with one of
these weapons.

Beat Knuckle

After you defeat Bull Beatnix at Aegis, he drops the Beat Knuckle.

Boxing Gloves

Striking weapons include bats, staves, and hammers. When you wield a
striking weapon you gain a 10% (rounded down) boost to your strength, making
your attacks stronger. You gain Punching experience when attacking with one of
these weapons.

In the spice room of Caldoaxa there are blue beetle creatures. They
occasionally drop Armor Breakers.

Bamboo Rod

Bat

Battle Rod

Bokuto

Bokutos can be purchased at the store at Habara.

Bone Stake

Coral Staff

There is a girl on Deserted Island who is looking for coral. If you give her

Frying Pan

Gaia Hammer

"It's strong enough to shake the earth itself."
The Super-Cow at Caldoaxa drops Gaia Hammers. You can also cause the last
mimic at Akumojo Island to turn into a chest and lockpick it. You will
occasionally recieve a Gaia Hammer.

Glass Rod

Golden Mallet

The turtles at Rizo Island when brought to low health, sometimes run away
and remove their shells. These shell-less turtles occasionally drop Golden
Mallets.

Haunted Mace

The Heavy Hammer can be found in a Chest at Caldoaxa.

Hexagon Staff

You can purchase Hexagon Staves at Habara.

Holy Water

"A mace sprinkled with holy water."
You can acquire Holy Water by fishing at Akumojo Castle. You may need level 70
fishing to stand a decent chance of catching it.

Iron Club

"Lined in gold and painted black to fool thieves."
Iron Clubs are occasionally dropped by the Knights in the Dragon and Dragon
game at Habara.

Ja Danga

"A ball is attached to its tip."
At Ft. Eagle, there is a soldier looking for his Army Knife. If you give him
an Army Knife he will give you Ja Danga in return. You will not be able to get
Ja Danga after you defeat the boss at Ft. Eagle, so collect it before then.

Jitte

"Nice to have around for its striking power."
On the ground floor of Habara, the man closest to the escalator
occasionally drops a Jitte.

Knockout Club

"This soft club can put people to sleep."
You can find the Knockout Club in a chest at Akumojo Castle.

Mace

"The quintessential assault weapon. Bring the hurt."

Mage's Rod

Mallet

Mallets are occasionally dropped by the turrets at Ft. Eagle

Maul

You can fish for Mauls in the Dragon and Dragon game in Habara, they also are
dropped by ghosts in Dragon and Dragon as well

Metal Bat

Metal bats can be purchased at the Vending Machine at Ft. Eagle

Moon Cane

"Absorbs the moon's arcane energy."
Moon Canes are occasionally dropped by the wizards at Akumojo Castle

Nonstick Pan

"This heat-conducting prototype is rare."
The Nonstick Pan can be found in a chest at Caldoaxa. You need level 70
Thievery to unlock the chest.

Pickaxe

The Pickaxe is found in a chest at Akumojo Castle.

Spiked Club

Spiked Clubs can be purchased at the weapons vendor at Aegis

Spray Wand

They occasionally drop a Spray Wand

Storm Wand

will be a Wind Demon. It occasionally drops a Storm Wand.

Stun Rod

War Hammer

At Akumojo Castle there are mimics that look like treasure chests. If you
weaken one of them sufficiently, they will retreat and become regular chests.
Lockpick this chest and you may acquire a War Hammer.

IV. Wisdom Weapons
Wisdom weapons will give you Wisdom experience when you use the in battle.
Most of them also give a boost to your Wisdom and/or Elements, allowing you
to do more damage with Earth, Water, Wind, and Fire techs. All of them are 
striking weapons, so you also increase your damage by leveling your Striking.

Bone Stake

The skeletons at Caldoaxa occasionally drop Bone Stakes.

Coral Staff

There is a girl on Deserted Island who is looking for coral. If you give her
three pieces, she will give you the Coral Staff.

Job Skill Weapons allow you to train your Thievery, Cooking, and Fishing
through combat. Many of them also provide boosts to that particular skill.
All the Job Skill Weapons require that you wear the corresponding outfit.

Va. Cooking Weapons

Cleaver

Cleavers can be bought at Aegis. The man who sells the car parts also sells

The Super-Cow at Caldoaxa drops Gaia Hammers. You can also cause the last
mimic at Akumojo Island to turn into a chest and lockpick it. You will
occasionally recieve a Gaia Hammer.

Ice Sword
