How do I get the last shell in the ending? I'm in 99% of the game I just need to find 1 more were do I look?

Well it depends which Shell you're looking for LOL.
Most actual shells are found by diving.
Two are found in the crate - Spoiler:

But in the collections tab, some items listed in the Shell category must be crafted. There are two such items - Spoiler:
