I have just reached the ice island ,how do you tell who is the liar?

This was particularly hard to figure out for myself so I just talked to everyone until I found who the liar was. Everyone on the top area where the houses are, are the ones who are suspects to this case. Anyone outside the houses arn't suspects. The liar is in the top middle house. If you ended up getting that you made a mistake, go and talk to the chief and you should be able to go and suspect people.
