I needed help on trying to get the red boxes activated I listened to what the others had posted but when I go into the castle and into the light and look up it says " a voice from above is saying," hey... Mario...." and nothing else happens as to a red wing cap what do I need to do or what I'm I doing wrong????please help oh and by the way I do have 34 stars

Odd. You should be able to access it. I'm sure you have to do something in the Bomb-Omb Battlefield stage first, though. Perhaps you haven't obtained enough Stars in there. If I remember correctly, you have to beat the Mario Wings It to the Sky chapter (it was called something like that).
