Lila should have given it to you after you complete the fight with the spiders at the "dojo". You then just push on the " " button on your remote, aim the remote at the screen and a green circle inside a square will appear, center it on what you want to take a picture of and then use the "A" button to "take a "picture'. To put the camera away for later, just push on the " " button again.
