Yes, I believe you can battle him again. Only thing is, you have to re-battle the E4 before he'll appear for another battle again. All the best luck to you.

I beat Red Twice. With My level 84 Dragonite, My level 88 Salemence, My level 87 Groudon, My level 87 Dialga, My level 86 Celebi, and My level 89 Pikachu.

My friend when he got to the top of mount silver he saw red but didn't know who he was and only had one pokemon with him and immediately got his butt kicked. Then he went back again a second time with a team of level 100 legendary pokemon and he STILL lost. I beat him on my first try with a team of all the Johto starters, a Lapras, a Pidgeot, and a level 44 hacked Arceus so I could get up there( it knows all hm moves needed to explore the mountain). I've beat him with that team three times, and it's about to be four. So yes you can batle him again.Guest answered:

Who cares? I beat red using a lv100 mewtwo, lv100 hooh, (all my pkn are lv100) mudkip, venusaur, typhlosion and arceus(event) it was fun!Guest answered:
I beat Red twice with my sinnoh team including a level
82 Giratina,a level 82 Dialga, and a level 80 Palkia.
But only one problem, I wished he had changed his team from kanto to sinnoh. Ex: I saw these videos on
Youtube and there was this guy who beat Red 4 times!
If you watched all of the Pokemon series, then you
Would know that Red a.k.a Ash who made his own Pokemon
Teams during those series. Another ex: in the game,
When the guy battled Red, Red had his sinnoh team:
A torrtera, an infernape, a staraptor, a buizel,a gible,and his pikachu as usual.
