I've gotten up to the last one but her dog thing keeps killing me even if I use a tonne of revives and potions I think the move she uses is like dark wave or something my typholsion just isnt strong enough because it can't use fire type moves on it and Lugia dies before I can use any of it's good moves please help

Houndoom usually likes to raise it's special attack by using the move Nasty Plot and then he attacks with Dark Pulse. To really damage Houndoom use water, fighting, ground, or rock type moves. Since it usually raises it's stats before attacking with Dark Pulse you should be able to get in some good hits before he can really damage your Pokemon.

Sad to say, but your only real option here is to either go back through the game to level up your Pokemon or level them up through the fight with the first three elite four. They shouldn't be all that hard to beat if you have a strong team.
