Mew cannot be found in Pokemon Platinum. The only ways to obtain one besides an Action Replay Code are by Trade or Migration (Pal Park).

Ok. Idk if this works but here goes... You have to have 6 psychic Pokemon in their final forms (fully evolved) and then go to spear pillar, oh and the national dex too. If this works you should bump into mewtwo and mew. Another way is to get 6 unown and put them in your party so they spell out "Lugia" then head home and speak with your mom and she'll give you a secret code "CPUE-P4821" now this next bit depends on your starter. If you picked Chimchar, you get an egg for Ho-Oh, if you picked Piplup, you get a Lugia egg, and if you picked a turtwig you get a Mew!! Hope this helps!
