There isn't a lot of information out right now, but it will be released in the Spring of 2009 (maybe around April, May, or June) for the U.S.

I got alot of info on this game it comes out in spring 2009 and the info on it I hav is it will have the same things as diamond an pearl and theres 1 part where you will see the trio dialga,palkia,and giratina being confronted by cyrus(the leader of team galactic). And also instead of just having giratina and regigigas. It has giratina origin and regigigas skyform...oh and shaymin sky form and as they say regigigas and shaymin sky form have the levitate ability.(i don't know if the girl starting trainer changes but the boy has a blue jacket and black pants). They still don't normally have arceus but you can get shaymin and sky form shayin without the event. In spear pillar I heard they have an alternate dimension. Oh you know how in diamond and pearl they have the darkness like theirs nothing there but in platinum the alternate dimension I was talking about appears sometimes but to make sure it's there is to capture giratina origin form and check it every day until the cry is is at least 10 seconds long and to capture giratine origin form is the first time you go to spear pillar youll see the same event in diamond and pearl but instead of just having dialga or palkia in the scene it has both of them and a shadowy blob thats giratina. And then cyrus and the three dragons jump in to the dimension and you jump in to and after that you battle dialga you have to either capture it or defeat it but don't worry you have unlimited chances to catch it. After that you battle palkia(same way with dialga)and then giratina origin form(hes the hardest to catch in the game) all of them are level 47 and giratine origin form has a special move it knows both shadow force and the new move shadow impact you have unlimited chances to catch him but if you don't catch all of them next time you go to spear pillar you battle palkia and dialga and if you didnt catch giratina the dimension will always be there. And what makes the dimension special is when ever you go there every time 1 of the legendary Pokemon from the previous games. Thats all the info I have

I got mor info the other dimension is the torn world and theres a way you can go to other platforms because there are ones on the sides,below the 1 you're on,and on top of you and also if you have shaymin in D/P and you trade it to platinum it automaticly changes to sky forme and theres a castle which I dunno about.

Ah, yet another eager and happy Pokemon player curious about when the new version of Pokemon will be revealed. I am sorry to say this as it might get your hopes down, but unfortunately for a bunch of people that are Pokemon players like yourself, this game will not be released in the United States for a long time. It will not even be released until the year 2009 to be exact. Look for the game to hit the shelves of your local video game stores around Spring time next year. They are going to have to take a lot of time re making everything for the U.S. Version because of all the new features and Pokemon forms that are added into the game. Not to mention adding all the new areas and opponents will take a long time to complete as well, so just wait for it. Visit the Pokemon Platinum forums here.

March 22, 2009 just announced

All I know about this game is that there may be new forms of Pokemon such as the sky form of girantina shamin and regigigas. But I'm not realy sure what they mean when they say "sky form"
