Can somebody tell me hold to find the item in pearl to evolve certain Pokemon? Not stone evolutions.

Here's a list of a few that you got to evolve by trading with certain items:
Onix ---> Steelix (Metal Coat)
Scyther ---> Scizor (Metal Coat)
Clampearl ---> Huntail (Deepseatooth)
Clampearl ---> Gorebyss (Deepseascale)
Poliwhirl ---> Politoed (King's Rock)
Slowbro ---> Slowking (King's Rock)
Dusclops ---> Dusknoir (Reaper Cloth)
Rhydon ---> Rhyperior (Protector)
