the 8th gym

I'm in the 8th gym ad I'm in the third room with the leader I just can't figure out how to move those panels to actually beat the gym leader..HELP PLEASE!!!

Ok when you get in the third room you walk forward on to the pathway and turn right onto the red panel, then you go down off the path, turn left and go up onto the other path turn left and walk on the red panel. That should make the path on the gears on the left side flat. Then you walk all the way up and turn right and go down and step on the green panel, then just step off and back on the same panel and go down, right, up, right, and down onto the blue panel. Then you must go up, then right, then down onto the path on the right which should know be flat, go left and up onto thr red panel on the right side, that should line up the paths so that you can walk up to the gym leader.

Ok so 1st you go to the rightmost red panel and hit it once,after that hit the left red panel once,then go up the stairs on the left,after thathit the green panel on the northwestern part twice then go down,right,up and hit the blue panel once,then go back to the red panel that you pushed at the start and hit it,when go up the stairs on the right it will directly lead you to the gym leader volkner..
