What do I have to do to get the migrating effect on Pokemon peral game

Insert any GBA game into your DS. In the title page with your name, click magrate Pokemon and click on the Pokemon you want to migrate. Then go capture the Pokemon in the Pokemon migrating place.

First of all you need a GBA Pokemon game, (Fire Red, Leaf Green, Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald) Then you put one of them into the GBA slot And start up Pearl. At the screen where you can select your file there will be an option that says migrate from _____. And then you choose 6 Pokemon (that don't know any HM's) and then go to Pal Park and catch them. The poke balls that you get are pretty much like Master Balls. They don't fail.
