old chateau and route 113

Hi! In the old chateau are the ghosts just there to look cool? And witrh the painting with the red eyes is it really a gangar? And how do I catch it? Also how am I supose to catch the Pokemon in the tv?
Also the other day I was walking down route 113 near the footsteps guy and the was rain on the route usually there isn't rain there is there something special on that route? Thank you for all your help sorry about the billion questions!!....B

To answer your question about the tv. Once you get the NAtional Pokedex, go up to the tv between 8pm and 4am. It should ask you if you want to thump the tv. Say yes and a Rotom should battle you. Its at level 15.

You can't catch a Gengar from the painting but when you come back from beating the Elite Four, come back and check the TV. The pokemon's only level 20 but it busts out of Ultra Balls like it is level 80. And I can't really answer your question about the Route 113. It's never happened to me before but maybe it's just random weather or something. Sorry wish I could help on that one.

There is a ghost Pokemon in the tv upstairs that will appear between 8pm and 4am. It is called Rotom, Lvl 15 Ghost/ Electric.

the painting with eyes is cool and i was hoping something super crazy would happen like giritina blowing up that room, and about route 113, was it a rainy day by where you live because that could have been it... oh yeah, there is most definitely a rotom in the tv, lvl 15..... so weak and dont try to get a shiny 1, is super hard and rare, and 1 more thing, the maps in every pokemon game are based off of japan's shape, a cool thing 2 know
