when do they evolve

I got a gible a long timego I got it at level 16.i got it to level 42 and it still wont evolve when will it?the same thing happened to my magakarp I got it at level 10 and it is now level 37.my final one is shieldon got it at level 20 and it is now level 36.when will everyone evolve!!!!!!

If you have cheats turn it off and gible to gabite at lvl 24 and to garchomp lvl 48. Magikarp should evole lvl 20 into gyrados maybe check it's item (everstones prevent evoling) and shieldon into bastiodon lvl 30.If you want a gyrados get a super rod(fight area, fishing guy above town near the dock)and go to any route with water and use it. You can get a gyrados between 30-40 or 30-55.Maybe try caughting new pokemon.

Make sure that you aren't using a cheating device that might keep them from evolving, and make sure that they're not holding an everstone or any other item that prevents eveolving, and don't push the B button when it says that they're evolving. If none of that works, then maybe your game is defective.
