You need to feed it many stat raising items, such as zinc or carbos. Then give it a rare candy or raise it a level.If it didn't work, check if it has an everstone or repeat.

- Being in your party
- Feeding it poffins it likes
- Giving it Mail
- Taking it for a walk in Hearthorme city
- Gaining levels
Decreases
- Not in party
- Not fed poffins that are enjoyed by the Pokemon
- Fainting many times
