A bad egg you mean? Usually this is because the Dialga is 'hacked'. Such as ludacris stats or whatnot. Usually I get bad eggs if I trade a 'hacked' Pokemon to a different game.

Never had that to happen before. I've traded hacks plenty of times no problem before.

It is punishment for hacking. Your Dialga is gone, and you cannot get it back. Get rid of the egg as soon as possible, if you cannot, you will need to restart your game.

Just tossing this in. Its not really a punishment it just happens when you get a hold of a bad code. A Bad egg can be gotten rid of by using a code that replaces the egg with another Pokemon.

Your dialga is gone,but someone will know a code that replaces the egg with a different Pokemon.If you can't get rid of the egg,you'll have to restart,as that will proabaly cause loads of problems if it hatches,such as possibly not being able to save,or no time-based events.
