The is no way to tell the difference, since the same image appears on the Marking Map.

There is unfortunately no way to tell the difference, my advice would be not to release Cresselia until you have captured Mesprit or vice versa.

Mesprit is first to catch then if you are up to the creselia bit it looks the same with that blinking bunny if you have to of them thats weird
