Ummm you do know that Diamond and Pearl have different code standards don't you? They both have different game IDs for instance so some codes won't work with both,only one. Since I don't know much details about your problem with the AR,thats all the info I can give you.If you need anymore help then try to be more specific with the problems like the codes you were using that didn't work etc. And on another basis,I don't really see how you don't know how to win against 5 opponents. Just train somewhere else to get your pokemons stronger and come back again and try to defeat them.

The reason the pearl cheats did not work on diamond is because the two games have different game IDs. It can be compared to trying to play a playstation 3 game on the wii. What you need to do is view the list of games on your friend's action replay. At the top of the list is the option "Add New Game" Type in "Pokemon Diamond" in for the game name, and it's ID is adae-636791c0 (pearl is apae-31d0afde) Now you create a codlist on the action replay software program that comes with the action replay by clicking "new codelist" in the My Codelists section of the program, but to add the game to the codlist you must connect the action replay to the computer via it's mini USB cable. The current codelist that the action replay has will appear, so scroll down until you find your newly added diamond game that has no cheats. Click and drag diamond to the empty codlist you added. With diamond in your codelist, right-click on it and choose "add new cheat" from the menu. Copy and paste any Pokemon diamond code from the internet, and repeat the code adding proccess until you have a satisfactory codelist. If your list is too long for your liking, you can compress it by adding a folder from the right-click menu. Click and drag codes onto the menu, realese and they will be dropped in there. Name the folder by double-clicking on it and typing in the desired label. Now that you have a codelist on your action replay software, add it to the hardware by dragging it onto the list next to it - the list of current game that the action replay has on it. The program will tell you "this game already exists, do you wish to overwrite it?" say yes, wait for it to overwrite and tada! You have Pokemon Diamond cheats.
