How do you get to connect to MysteryGift with a Friend? (Via Get from a friend or Via Nintendo Wi-fi.)

Mystery gift is for events. If your friends have been to the event, rather then having to go to the event yourself, you can get them to give you the 'gift' via mystery gift. Otherwise it's useless.
